Today, Saturday, September 23, Life is Beautiful continued to amaze audiences for day two of the three-day festival. Throughout vibrant Downtown Las Vegas, the celebrations continued with immaculate performances, immersive art, and an innate sense of community unique to the Life is Beautiful festival.
The massive Downtown Stage brought fans major stars for headlining performances, featuring Ferg, Omar Apollo, and the legendary Kendrick Lamar, who headlined the festival in 2015. At the JBL stage, audiences were treated to an array of genres with performances by alternative icons Cigarettes After Sex, hip-hop sensation Yung Gravy and the pop super group The 1975. The all-new Mantis Stage continued its lineup of up-and-coming DJs, carefully curated by the Las Vegas-based music collective We The Beat. The Fremont Stage boasted some of the most diverse artists in the electronic music scene, including Barry Can’t Swim, Ben Bohmer, Madeon and BLOND:ISH, who was joined by Vegas superstars Blue Man Group.
Vegas locals recognized a familiar group, Magic Mike Live for a special appearance on the Downtown Stage earlier in the evening.
One of the most well-known aspects of the festival is the variety of culinary excellence offered each year, with this year’s line-up featuring some of the most savory delights Las Vegas has to offer. Guests on the VIP+ viewing deck were treated to prepared meals from world-acclaimed chefs China Poblano, Jaleo, Echo & Rig, Casa Playa and Main St. Provisions, with meals and drinks prepared to perfection.
The festival will wrap-up tomorrow, Sunday, September 24, with memorable headlining performances from Odesza, Nelly, Khalid and more.
