For the first time since 2011, rock band Avenged Sevenfold will head out on the road for the Hail to the King Tour which will make its final stop at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, Oct. 26. Touring with the band are special guests Deftones and Ghost B.C. The tour comes in support of Avenged Sevenfold’s newly released sixth studio album, Hail to the King. Popular reggae musician Ziggy Marley will perform Labor Day Weekend at the Mandalay Bay Beach Sunday, Sept. 1. Marley, the oldest son of music legend Bob Marley, made his recording debut in 1979 with a group comprised of his father and three siblings. The group became known as The Melody Makers and released 14 albums over three decades. Ziggy Marley began his solo career in 2003 when he released Dragonfly on Ghetto Youths Crew, a record label he created while working with the United Nations. In 2006, he released his second solo album, Love Is My Religion, which won a GRAMMY Award for Best Reggae Album. His third solo album, Family Time, was released in 2009 and was dedicated to all the children in the world.

SHARK REEF AQUARIUM
Not your typical aquarium, Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is a total sensory experience designed to transport visitors to an undersea ocean of fantastic sights, sounds and encounters. See sharks, sawfish, giant rays, green sea turtles, piranhas, rare Komodo Dragons, a Giant Pacific Octopus, a Shark Ray and Golden Crocodiles in North America’s only predator-based aquarium. There are more than 2,000 animals in 1.6 million gallons of seawater including 15 species of sharks! Shark Reef Aquarium’s newest members include a rehabilitated sea turtle from the Florida Keys as well as two juvenile Komodo Dragons direct from Prague.
