This vibrantly colorful lithograph by Takashi Murakami entitled And Then, Platinum… (featuring DOB, a character that has often been mystically described as Murakami’s alter ego), is one of the many great works of art that will be available at the Martin Lawrence Galleries first public auction on April 21 at their new 26,000 square foot gallery located at The Forum Shops at Caesars.
Murakami is labeled as the founder of the Superflat movement which reflects the aesthetic characteristics of Japanese artistic tradition and captures the nature of post-war Japanese culture and society.
