Shake Shack Gets Back to Fine Dining Roots and Launches the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger and Chicken Sandwiches Beginning Friday

These limited time items are available at all four local Shake Shack locations – The District at Green Valley Ranch, Downtown Summerlin, North Premium Outlets, and Strip-side at New York-New York Hotel & Casino.
Available starting Friday, May 6, Shake Shack is releasing a new Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger and Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Chicken sandwich, featuring a sweet and savory bourbon bacon jam made with Maker’s Mark. These delicious gems take the company back to their fine dining roots!
- Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger: White-cheddar cheeseburger, made with fresh (never frozen) 100% Angus beef, topped with bourbon bacon jam made with Maker’s Mark Bourbon, crispy shallots and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun
- Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich: Crispy, whole white meat chicken breast topped with white-cheddar cheese and bourbon bacon jam made with Maker’s Mark Bourbon over pickles on a toasted potato bun
Shake Shack’s bourbon bacon jam marries the iconic Maker’s Mark Kentucky bourbon, which is aged to taste and has notes of vanilla, caramel and oak, with bacon that is smoked for six hours using real hardwood applewood, creating a sweet and savory sauce with woodsy and smoky flavors with a bit of heat. With Shake Shack’s fine dining roots and commitment to using high-quality ingredients, Maker’s Mark was an ideal partner for the new items.
With this release, Shake Shack will also spin out two new shakes perfect for spring and summer vibes!
- Chocolate Churro Shake: Hand-spun cinnamon churro frozen custard, topped with spiced dark chocolate sauce, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon waffle cone crumbles
- Oreo Funnel Cake Shake: OREO cookies and funnel cake crunch hand spun with vanilla frozen custard, topped with chocolate whipped cream
