Silverton Casino Lodge announces its September gaming promotions and hotel experiences.
DINING
Aid to Maui
The restaurants of Silverton Casino have teamed up to raise money for the people of the Hawaiian island of Maui following the state’s worst natural disaster in history. During the entire month of September, each Silverton Casino restaurant is offering special Aid to Maui menus. For each meal purchased, Silverton will donate the cash equivalent of 12 meals to the Maui Food Bank, which will be provided to the island community. Menus include:
Sundance Grill
- Loco Moco, made with an 8-ounce burger patty, steamed rice, choice of eggs, grilled onions and brown gravy ($15)
- Spam and eggs, made with diced Spam, choice of eggs, steamed rice and furikake ($15)
Mi Casa Grill Cantina
- Shrimp burrito, made with grilled Gulf shrimp, black beans, Spanish rice, grilled onions, roasted corn, guajillo and Oaxaca cheese sauce ($23)
- California burrito, made with grilled steak, fresh guacamole, french fries, black beans, pico de gallo, Oaxaca and Asadero cheese ($19)
Su Casa Sushi Bar
- “Maui” spicy tuna poke roll, made with tempura soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado and wakame. Topped with spicy tuna poke, furikake tempura crunch, yuzu aioli and sweet soy glaze ($20)
Cider Fest at Shady Grove Lounge
Celebrate the flavors of fall throughout September and October at the inaugural Cider Fest at Shady Grove Lounge. Visitors can treat themselves to a selection of hard ciders expertly curated to offer a range of tastes. Hard ciders include:
- Ace Space Bloody Orange (6.9% ABV), featuring a tangy, tart and sweet citrus fruit and cider aftertaste ($6)
- Rekorderlig Strawberry Lime (4.5% ABV), featuring an aroma of strawberry with a bright and spritzy, sweet medium body that is juicy and smooth ($7)
- Angry Orchard (5.0% ABV), featuring crisp and fruity, sweet apple taste ($7)
- Ace Cider Pineapple (5.0% ABV), featuring a sweet and rich fruit aroma with mild tartness and a pineapple with an apple finish ($8)
- Pear Delight, made with Skyy apple vodka topped with pear cider ($9)
- Mango Energizer, made with Midori, a splash of Red Bull and cranberry juice, topped with mango raspberry cider ($9)
- Fruit Tree, made with Chambord liquor, blood orange cider topped with pineapple juice and a splash of Sprite ($9)
- Just Peachy, made with peach schnapps topped with wild berry cider ($9)
Additionally, indulge in Cider Fest’s menu of “festival favorite” food items, including:
- Disco fries, made with gravy, melted mozzarella cheese, cheese sauce and shredded beef short ribs ($10)
- Cheese curds, lightly battered and fried, served with marinara sauce ($12)
- Giant soft pretzel, served with beer cheese sauce and stone ground mustard ($9)
- Cider apple puff pastry, made with a crumb topping, ace hard cider-infused apples, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream ($12)
- State Fair mini doughnuts, a dozen ($13) or half dozen ($7) with a dusting choice of apple cider sugar, powdered sugar, pumpkin spice sugar or cinnamon sugar
ENTERTAINMENT
September 16 – Ori Tahiti Dance Competition
Celebrate Tahitian music and dance at the Ori Tahiti Dance Competition that will take place at Veil Pavilion at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16. Tickets start at $10 for kids and $20 for general admission. Seats are first come, first serve.
September 30 – 3 Queens of Motown
On Saturday, Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. at Veil Pavilion, immerse yourself in the golden era of soul and rhythm at the 3 Queens of Motown tribute show, featuring three extraordinary performers embodying the essence of Motown’s legendary leading ladies, Stacy Carter as Diana Ross, Lea Sweet as Tina Turner, and Samantha Alexes as Aretha Franklin. The lively concert will bring guests through a musical journey of the greatest hits of Motown, soul, funk and rock. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $25. General admission seating is first come, first serve.
Mermaid School for Kids is available Sept. 9 & 23 from 8:30-10 a.m.
Mermaid School for Adults is available Sept. 10 & 24 from 8:30-10 a.m.
Interactive stingray feedings daily at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Live Music in Mermaid Lounge with Mermaid Lounge Live!
Fridays & Saturdays from 8-11 p.m. Free admission with acoustic music from local artists. Open to the public. Must be 21+.
GAMING
Now through October 31 – The Big Haul Drawing
Each Saturday in September and October, 100 points equals one entry for a chance to win outstanding prizes, including cash, Free Slot Play and a truck and travel trailer. Three drawings will take place per night at 4, 6 and 8 p.m. with multiple winners at each drawing. The grand finale drawing will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 31, when the winner will receive a brand new truck and travel trailer.
Now through October 31 – Half-Off Points Promotion
Each Friday in September and October, players can use their Silverton Rewards points to pay for their meals, plus an additional 50% off.
Now through December 29 – Las Vegas Football Suite Giveaway
Now through Dec. 29, every 500 points equals one entry to win two suite tickets to a Las Vegas Raiders home game. Entries will roll over through the final drawing.
