Sip, Splash, Sing and Repeat at Mandalay Bay’s 2016 Beach Concert Series

Just as the sun begins to set, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino’s Beach Concert Series sizzles. Concert-goers are invited to enjoy musical performances that perfectly complement the warm season as they sip on cocktails, sink their toes in the sand and wade in the water at Mandalay Bay’s 1.6-million-gallon wave pool.

The 2016 series begins Saturday, April 9 with a performance by acclaimed country artist Cole Swindell and continues with an incredible lineup through September. The lineup includes:

Sublime with Rome

SUBLIME WITH ROME

  • Sublime with Rome is a musical collaboration between Eric Wilson of the legendary band Sublime and gifted songwriter and musicians Rome Ramirez and Josh Freese.

SLIGHTLY STOOPID

  • The California-based group Slightly Stoopid is led by co-founders and multi-instrumentalists Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty, along with drummer Ryan “Rymo” Moran; percussionist Oguer “OG” Ocon; saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz; keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft; trumpet and trombone player Andy Geib; and special guest and “unofficial eighth member” Karl Denson (The Rolling Stones/Greyboy Allstars) on saxophone.
  • Slightly Stoopid will be joined by Soja and Zion I, The Grouch and Eligh.
  • Nearly two decades into its artistry, Slightly Stoopid continues to progress into new musical territory, defining its signature reggae sound.
