Show military ID and experience the holiday spectacular for free
Nov. 20-21 and 26-29

Glittering Lights, the holiday drive-through spectacular at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will show the Armed Forces its appreciation by offering free admission to vehicles with veteran or active duty military personnel. Friends and family can also experience the show for free as there is no restriction on the number of guests that can ride in the vehicle. Free admission for active or veteran military will be offered on Nov. 20–21 and 26–29 from 5:30-9 p.m. Glittering Lights will open to the public for the season on Nov. 16, 2012.

“We support and appreciate the sacrifices military men and women have made,” stated Shannon Bentham, co-founder of Ivory Star Productions. “During this holiday season we wanted to give them the opportunity to relax with family and friends and enjoy the show.”

To experience the holiday light show, veterans and active duty military must present the appropriate ID at the entrance to Glittering Lights to receive free admission: U.S. Military ID, VIC ID (Veteran Identification Card) or DAV ID card (Disabled American Veterans ID). There is no limit to the amount of passengers that fit in a personal vehicle. Promotion not valid with any other offer.

Blood donors and children in costume receive free admission

WHAT: Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay will eerily transform into Haunted Reef on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Costumed children 12 and under will receive complimentary access and sugary sweets.

Guests 17 years of age and older will also receive complimentary admission upon donating blood at the United Blood Services booth. The booth, set up just for Haunted Reef, will be open Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fearsome predators including sharks and a rare Komodo dragon with dagger-like teeth and piercing razor-sharp claws will lurk in exhibits, terrorizing spectators. Rattling chains, creaking doors and haunting music will replace the normally soothing sounds of the ocean and the jungle. As visitors walk through Haunted Reef’s dark and spooky tunnels, they will pass ghostly decorations and jack-o-lanterns lining the walls.
