Live painting, book signings, meet and greets and more with many of the most popular and prolific Disney fine artists are planned for the coming weeks.

The schedule of free events and artist appearances is as follows:

Nov. 10 – 12 Cris Woloszak and Irene Sheri | Live Painting/Signing

Cris Woloszak spent his childhood in two different worlds – the tropical paradise of South Florida, where he spent most of his time as a youth surfing the pristine beaches along the east coast of Florida and the city life of New York City, those experiences introduced him to different passions – hot rods and the ocean. A self-educated artist on a relentless path to success, he started his career by painting cars and motorcycles. His dazzling use of candy colors makes his Disney pieces truly pop.

Like her obsession for art, Ukraine-born Irene Sheri’s love for Disney began at an early age.  As a little girl, she formed a bond with Mickey Mouse and like many children she thought of Mickey as another childhood friend. Recognized at an early age as one of Russia’s most gifted young artists, today her award winning fine art is collected, exhibited and celebrated in a variety of museums and galleries around the world.  In a beautiful, poetic return to her own youth, she contributes to the Disney Fine Art collection with her whimsical portraits of children immersed in the joyful exploration of their own imaginations.

Cris and Irene will be painting and signing works Friday, Nov. 10 from 2–5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11 from 1–3 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12 from 1-3 p.m.

Nov. 17 – 19 | Mike Kungl and Miss Mindy | Live Painting/Signing/Meet & Greet

Mike Kungl has built a loyal following of fans who love his fresh take on Disney. Combining his unique artistic style, which he has termed “21st Century Art Deco”, with classic Disney characters and stories, Kungl has built upon Disney’s artistic legacy by applying his unique Deco twist to his collection of Disney works which are renowned and collected around the world. Today, Kungl is among the world’s finest artists in the Art Deco tradition. His art can frequently be seen on television shows including Ashton Kutcher’s Beauty and the Geek series, CSI, Gilmore Girl’s and CBS’ Big Bang Theory.

Miss Mindy has been a prolific professional artist for many years. ‘Cartoon Folk Art’ is how she describes her fine artwork, which ranges from fluid ink work to hand-crafted, dimensional ‘Pop UP’ paintings.  Most recently, she has gained notoriety for her custom Vinyls and one of a kind Sculptures including “The World of Miss Mindy” figures.

Mike Kungl and Miss Mindy will be painting and signing works Friday, Nov. 17 from 2–5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18 from 1–3 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 19 from 1-3 p.m.

Paige O’Hara is widely known as Disney’s heroine, Belle, in the critically acclaimed, Oscar-winning animated film Beauty and the Beast. In addition to her many stage and concert appearances, she is also an accomplished artist whose love of painting began when she was a child. Since the success of Beauty and the Beast, Paige had done a few renderings based on her character, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to present a series of originals through Collectors Editions and the Disney Fine Art collection.

Paige will be live painting in the gallery and signing works Friday, Nov 24 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 25 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.

Dec. 1 – 3 | Tim Rogerson and Trevor Carlton | Live Painting Performance/Signing

As an Orlando, Florida native, Tim Rogerson developed an early bond with Disney’s iconic characters and mythology through his father’s work with Disney Parks as an Entertainment Director. After completing art school at the prestigious Ringling School of Art and Design he worked as a character artist on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom® Park. Tim was then discovered on the world stage as a fine art painter and became an official artist of the Disney Fine Art collection.

Widely-known for his mesmerizing live performances in which he paints beloved Disney characters in a matter of minutes and all set to music, Trevor Carlton, is one of the most popular Disney Fine Artists. He will be performing his live painting and signing his work.

Tim and Trevor will be painting and signing works Friday, Dec. 1 from 2–5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1–3 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1-3 p.m.

As a part of the Disney Fine Art collection, she has been featured on Disney cruise ships, in numerous galleries and exhibitions around the world.

Dec. 15 – 17 | Heather Theurer, Dave Bossert and Tennesse Loveless | Live Painting/Book Signing

Heather Theurer’s paintings are the product of decades of observation of people, environments, animals and textiles, as well as the convergence of every scrap of knowledge that came attached to them. The wonder and magic of Disney movies, both the imagery and the music, also helped cultivate the ideas that began to take form in her painting, and now, boldly recreating Disney characters in a way that brings them into the realism of our world has become an exciting new passion for Theurer.

Tennessee Loveless is a Los Angeles based contemporary pop artist whose bold use of color and pattern evokes an immediate visual impact to the viewer, but also creates a poetic irony when one considers the fact that Loveless has limited achromatopsia colorblindness (almost complete colorblindness).  Loveless will be painting live and signing his new book The Art of Tennessee Loveless written by author, artist and filmmaker Dave Bossert who will also be on hand to sign the book.

The talented trio of artists will be live painting and signing books Friday, Dec. 15 from 2–5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 16 from 1–3 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 17 from 1-3 p.m.

Magical Memories featuring Disney Fine Art Gallery to Debut at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in May

Magical Memories featuring Disney Fine Art Animates The Forum Shops
at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas with the Artistic Heritage of Disney

Gallery is Designed with Theme-Park Inspired Special Effects, an Interactive Fiber-Optic Entrance, and a Private Viewing Room Modeled After a Studio Executive’s Office

The Premier Gallery in the World Dedicated to the Disney Fine Art Collection Opens at the Premier Retail Destination in Las Vegas this May

No height restrictions to ride this ride. This May, Magical Memories featuring Disney Fine Art invites everyone from art collectors to young dreamers to voyage through the world of Disney Fine Art at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace with its diverse portfolio of original and limited edition, signed, and numbered fine artworks by some of the world’s most popular artists. Magical Memories is a groundbreaking fine art venue that aims to bring canvas to life with audio/visual special effects that, over time, will include hourly firework shows, custom projections, and a fiber-optic pixie dust-trail entrance. Styled as a 1950’s sound stage from Golden Era of animation and filmmaking, Magical Memories Featuring Disney Fine Art will reconnect a fantastical memory for all, and through opening and beyond, become evermore as animated as its artist’s subjects.

Magical Memories featuring Disney Fine Art is the premier gallery dedicated to Disney Fine Art in the world. Each artist brings a unique interpretation and perspective to beloved scenes and subjects from Walt Disney Studios, Pixar Animation, and The Muppets. The gallery also features a wide selection of new and vintage Disney and other animation studios collectibles and publications, and soon the gallery expects to add a series of sculptures and artisanal furniture. Expect pieces from notable Disney Fine Art artists such as Trevor Carlton, James Coleman, Stephen Fishwick, Manuel Hernandez, Tennessee Loveless, James C. Mulligan, Tim Rogerson, Michelle St. Laurent, Jim Salvati, as well as Disney Legends Peter Ellenshaw and Paige O’Hara.

Like a storyboard brought to life, special effects and programmed sequences will be added and activated throughout the gallery’s opening phase, and the final viewing experience will be transcendent. Imagine showing interest in a pirate-themed print, when suddenly a battle sequence begins to play out over coordinated screens above. Cannons and music boom intermitted from the four omnidirectional speakers in the corners of the room, each carefully orchestrated to transport the viewer into the scene as it travels throughout the gallery. The experience will be completely immersive – the only element missing is actually shaking hands with the captain. In another transformative twist, this screen and sound interplay will morph into a firework and art-filled show on the hour to the delight of anyone and everyone.

The experience is tangible too. Modeled after a sound stage, the gallery space hosts mid century furniture, vintage props, and a private viewing room styled after a film executive’s office, featuring a digital screen that functions as a window overlooking a studio lot when not displaying artwork from Magical Memories stable of officially contracted artists. Special events at the gallery will enlist a cast of characters, including a rotating selection of featured artists and talent from the film animation realm. A custom recreation of a classic Animator’s desk will be activated for artist visits. This surreal venue was developed by Second Star Group, a worldwide innovator in major entertainment design, and John Ramirez, a Disney animator with three decades of design experience.

For art lovers, wide-eyed children, and everyone in between, Magical Memories takes the art gallery experience to enchanted realms. Fortunately, there’s no theme park line to enjoy this spectacle.
