Michael Boychuck Partners with The Shade Tree of Las Vegas for National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

In honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness month, celebrity colorist and COLOR Salon of Caesars Palace owner Michael Boychuck has partnered with The Shade Tree of Las Vegas to raise funds through the sale of his Boychuck beauty brush collections to benefit the shelter for women, children and pets that are victims of domestic abuse.

“While we are all rebuilding our city, it’s important to us to work with local organizations that continue to make Las Vegas a better place to live,” said Boychuck. “We are honored to partner with Shade Tree and give the community a great way to shop and give back.”

From Oct. 9-31, 30 percent of all online profits on michaelboychuck.com will go towards The Shade Tree and its mission to provide safety, assistance, education and healthcare for those affected by domestic violence. Following federal budget cuts and the recent closing of The Shade Tree’s transitional women’s shelter, organization members are looking to the community for their advocacy and support.

Vegan, hypoallergenic and ultra-soft, Boychuck’s signature beauty brushes are available in 5-piece and 24-piece collections and encased in a sleek, metallic carrying case for easy transportation. Each kit offers the daily makeup brush essentials to keep you looking and feeling your best and most beautiful self.

The Shade Tree is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of women, children and their pets affected by domestic violence in Las Vegas. Donating just one item will spread joy to The Shade Tree families and bring cheer to children during this difficult time.

“Our employees love to give back to the community, so this holiday season we decided to get all of our Las Vegas locations involved and join forces with The Shade Tree,” said Brittany Maroney, director of marketing of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. “We have participated in toy drives before, but to host our own and give back to such a deserving charity is something we are all looking forward to.”

The Shade Tree appreciates donations of any size, from skateboards, jewelry and MP3 players to baby dolls, action figures and scooters. Candles are not permitted. Donations can be dropped off at any of the five Grimaldi’s locations: The Shoppes at The Palazzo, Boca Park Fashion Village, The Fashion Show Mall, Rainbow and 215 and Richmar Plaza.

About Grimaldi’s Pizzeria:

In the world of pizza, Grimaldi’s is an institution that has garnered more awards than any other pizzeria in the country with more celebrity sightings than most 5-star restaurants. Using only the freshest ingredients, a “secret recipe” pizza sauce, handmade mozzarella cheese and dough, Grimaldi’s serves traditional pizza (as it began in Naples, Italy) in an upscale yet casual, family oriented pizzeria. The intense heat of the oven evenly bakes the pies to create Grimaldi’s famous crispy and smoky thin crust that Zagat has voted best pizza year after year. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria has five locations in Las Vegas and one in Sparks, Nev. Las Vegas locations include The Shoppes at The Palazzo, Rainbow and 215, Boca Park Fashion Village The Fashion Show Mall and Richmar Plaza. The Sparks restaurant is located in The Legends at Sparks Marina.
