Cocktail Experience For Las Vegas’ Race Weekend
One of Las Vegas’ best-kept secrets, The Laundry Room, located at 525 Fremont St. inside Commonwealth, will start its engines with a car-themed cocktail menu, available exclusively for Las Vegas’ big race weekend from Thursday, Nov. 16 through Sunday, Nov. 19.
Locals and Las Vegas visitors alike may enjoy an automotive-inspired menu comprised of five themed cocktails, created by Laundry Room Lead Barman Anthony Partridge. The select cocktails include Red Flag, made with rum, cassis, vanilla, lime, egg white and salt; Need For Speed, a blend of gin, elderflower, pineapple, lime and dill; Race You There, with tequila, cassis, chili, lime, habanero and muddled blackberries; Lap It Up, made with gin, Italian aperitif, lime, cucumber, cardamom and sparkling; Velocidaddy, with tequila, Benedictine, anisette and orange bitters; and Checkered Past, a mixture of bourbon, peach liqueur, espresso, liqueur and Italian drinking bitters. Each cocktail will be priced at $19. The Laundry Room also serves a selection of gourmet flavored popcorn, available for $6, to complement the cocktails.

Conceptualized by Corner Bar founder, Ryan Doherty, The Laundry Room occupies a historic building that was once the laundry room for the legendary El Cortez Hotel & Casino.
