Non-Profit Organization Extends Operational Calendar to 365 Days a Year, Including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day

The Neon Museum – the non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and preserving Las Vegas’ most iconic neon signage – is now open for all major holidays. Officially a 365-day destination, the Museum will be open for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day for those looking for a new way to spend this time of year.

The Neon Museum provides a glimpse into the city’s past through historic signs that lined Fremont Street, the Las Vegas Strip and beyond. Since its opening in 2012, visitors have been able to see the changes and trends in sign design and technology through pieces ranging from the 1930s to the present day. Each piece in The Neon Museum’s collection offers a unique story about the personalities who created it, what inspired it, where and when it was made and the role it played in the city’s distinctive history.

The Neon Museum’s full offerings include the following:

  • The Neon Museum Double the Glow Experience – Guided Tour & Brilliant! Jackpot – Available at night / Combines the popular 45-minute guided tour of the Main Boneyard and the newly expanded 45-minute Brilliant! Jackpot show in the North Gallery.
  • Self-Guided Tour – Available during the day / Allows for an hour-long experience in the Main Boneyard, at guest’s own pace.
  • Guided Tours – Available at night / Allows for a 45-minute guided tour of the Main Boneyard
  • Self-Guided Nighttime Tour – Available on Wednesdays and Thursdays in November and December / Experience the Main Boneyard at guest’s own pace.
  • Brilliant! Jackpot – Available at night / A 45-minute show in the North Gallery using light projection to illuminate unrestored signs and incorporates music and archival footage to transport guests into Las Vegas’ history.
  • Tours en Español – 8:30 p.m. Jueves, Viernes, Sábado / Permite una visita guiada de 45 minutos al main Boneyard. Los niños menores de seis años entran gratis. Por favor, espere 15 minutos entre las visitas guiadas y Brilliant! si está comprando ambos boletos.
  • Photo Walk – Available once a month / For hobby photographers to bring camera equipment to photography the sign collection.
  • Potrait Hour – Available once a week / Personal use portraiture in the North Gallery where cameras are permitted.

About The Neon Museum

Founded in 1996, The Neon Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying, and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment. In 2021, The Neon Museum achieved accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the highest national recognition bestowed to museums in the United States.
