The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will Fuel Racing Fans’ Plans with
Specialty Drinks, Dishes and More During the Inaugural Las Vegas Race
From VR racing on the casino floor to a specialty dinner inspired by the countries of the 2023 race
calendar at Top of the World, The STRAT will deliver a weekend of unprecedented excitement.
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will fuel racing fans’ plans with race-inspired cocktails available at its restaurants, bars and lounges; gaming activations; a specialty prix fixe menu and featured champagne offering at the award-winning Top of the World restaurant. The STRAT will also welcome race fans with a specialty “STRAT Your Engines” room package, VR race simulators and more, available exclusively during the inaugural race, from Thursday, Nov. 16 through Saturday, Nov. 18.
The STRAT will toast to the race with a duo of featured cocktails, including Flat Out, made with Patrón Silver tequila, Red Bull Coconut Edition, crème de cassis and lime; and Pole Position, crafted with Patrón Silver tequila, Red Bull Yellow Edition, peach schnapps, pineapple, lime and Tajín. Both cocktails will be priced at $12 and available at PT’s Wings & Sports, View Lounge, REMIX Lounge and 108 Drinks. Fans may also view portions of the grand prix broadcast in PT’s Wings & Sports, where the practices, qualifying and the race will be shown on state-of-the-art LED video walls and numerous LED TVs throughout the weekend.
Foodie fans can race over to PT’s Wings & Sports to satisfy cravings with the “Pit Stop Package,” priced at $99 for pairs of two and $190 for groups of four. The package for two will include the choice of one Flat Out or Pole Position cocktail each; while groups of four may select two cocktails each. The table will overflow with shareable snacks, including carnitas sliders with braised pork, Oaxaca cheese and grilled onions; traditional wings with choice of sauce; and classic nachos, piled high with chipotle cheese sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and drunken black beans. Guests will experience prime seating for race programming throughout the weekend.
Fans may compete in a race of their own with two VR race simulators available on the casino floor from noon to midnight Thursday, Nov. 16 through Saturday, Nov. 18, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. True Rewards members may race by earning 1,000 base points playing slots, with a maximum of five entries per account; or may pay $100 per ride with a True Rewards card. The two race pods will be equipped with screens, where guests may watch participants complete three laps on one of two available racetracks. The ongoing fastest laps for each race will be displayed, and the two racers with the fastest time on each track will each win a home VR race set, including a PlayStation 5 console, a VR headset and four race games.
Towering 844 feet above the Las Vegas Strip inside The STRAT’s iconic tower, Top of the World, famous for its 360-degree rotating dining room and stunning views, will offer an elevated experience curated for champions. The “Circuit Tour” prix fixe menu will feature four courses that pull inspiration and flavors from countries that are part of the 2023 calendar. The culinary tour will begin with Bolinho de Bacalhau, Alaskan cod fritters with spicy black bean sauce and pickled onions, inspired by Brazil’s Interlagos. Inspired by Circuit de Monaco, Bouillabaisse made with cod, shrimp, lobster, mussels, sauce rouille and tomato, fennel and saffron broth, will be served as the second course. The main course, Carrillada, made with red wine braised beef cheek with onions, mushroom jus and spicy potatoes, will honor of Spain’s Ciruito de Catalonia. The meal will end on a sweet note with Roll of the Dice, a chocolate cake with chocolate-raspberry crémeux, inspired by the hometown race. The specialty menu will be priced at $120 per person.
Top of the World will invite guests to experience the feeling of standing on the podium with a jeroboam of Ferrari Trento sparkling brut. Named the “official toast” of the premier racing series, guests may celebrate like a champion while sipping the 3-liter bottle of world-class sparkling wine, priced at $750. The STRAT will also offer a specialty room package, “STRAT Your Engines,” which includes a discounted room rate of 20%, an upgrade to a newly remodeled Elevate room; complimentary admission for two to the Observation Deck and STRAT Tower; a $25 dining credit; and reserved seating in PT’s Wings & Sports or View Lounge, where the race will be broadcast.
