Tickets to the Fall Shows at The Smith Center on Sale to the Public Aug. 23
Two-month season includes more than 20 performances spanning all four venues
The fall season at The Smith Center brings more than 20 distinct performances to Las Vegas, many for the first time, including the best of jazz, many Broadway legends, classical, family attractions, engaging lectures and more.
All four performance venues at The Smith Center will host audiences over the two-month season including Reynolds Hall, Cabaret Jazz, Troesh Studio Theater and Donald W. Reynolds Symphony Park.

“World Blues” is a celebration of American blues music’s global influence, as seen from three very diverse points of view and three international points of origin. Anchored by iconic folk-blues legend Taj
Mahal, the evening will feature the soulful South African blues of guitarist and vocalist Vusi Mahlasela and the more modern rock and roll perspective of Fredericks Brown, and a band featuring Taj’s daughter, Deva Mahal, who hails from New Zealand.

In 1842, Napoleone and Ermengilda Zoppé founded Circo Zoppé near Venice, Italy and their vision lives on as Zoppé, a traditional one-ring European circus. The Zoppé family continues their journey of acrobatics, equestrian showmanship, canine capers, clowns and engaging audience participation. With no audience members more than 25 feet from the ring, Zoppé is an intimate and involving experience in a 600-seat tent outside in Symphony Park.

The Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater (LVCDT) closes out its season of compelling performances with new works by contemporary dance’s most innovative choreographers. November’s program will include the world premiere of “Firebird” with music by Igor Stravinsky, choreographed by Founder/Artistic Director Bernard H. Gaddis; “Bad Blood” by the late, legendary Ulysses Dove; and “Crashing Through” by Hope Boykin, Principal Dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. It is the sound of the American experience, raw and untamed and something worth celebrating. This November, two generations of blues stars will take the stage. Keb Mo, a living link to the delta blues and a three-time Grammy-winning singer/guitarist, will showcase the blues in all its heartfelt glory alongside acclaimed vocalist Shemekia Copeland, the daughter of guitar legend Johnny Copeland.
