Who says #Throwbacks are just for Thursdays? Some of the biggest artists and hits from the 80s and the Y2K era are ready to make a splash at SOAK Pool at Palms. Enjoy reggae under the stars on Saturday, July 22, and the catchy tunes everyone loves with POP 2000 on Saturday, Aug. 19. Shows are 21+ only and tickets and cabanas for both shows are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting www.palms.com. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the shows beginning at 9 p.m.

In celebration of four-time Grammy® nominated UB40’s 45th Anniversary, the legendary reggae-pop band will bring a special live performance of their worldwide hit singles including “Red Red Wine,” “Food For Thought,” “(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You,” and many more to SOAK Pool at Palms Casino Resort. The poolside concert and reggae-fueled party will also feature special guests including Junior Marvin & The Legendary Wailers and Big Mountain. Making a stop on their “UB45” national summer tour, a UB40 concert doubles as a lesson in how reggae has informed pop music over the last few decades. Weaving together island-inspired covers of American hits, the band keeps people dancing and vibing throughout their whole set. Tickets start at $45.86.

Pop music in the 2000s was known for its infectious and memorable melodies and songs with catchy hooks and choruses, like “All Star,” “I’m a Believer, “Summer Girls” and many more.
