1228 Main to Celebrate National American Beer Day with
Half-Off Pricing on All Local Draft Beers
The new 1228 Main, located at 1228 S. Main St., will toast National American Beer Day and local Las Vegas breweries with half-price on all draft beers from noon to close on Friday, Oct. 27. 1228 Main showcases primarily local Las Vegas beers on tap.
Half-priced beers will be available to guests sitting in the bar and lounge, where beer lovers can sip on draft beers by local favorite breweries HUDL Brewing Company, CraftHaus Brewing Company and Able Baker Brewing Company. They include HUDL Brewing Company’s Scorched Meadows, featuring a 6.8% ABV, floral and citrus notes and a dry, crisp finish. With a name that reflects Nevada’s pioneering spirit, Crafthaus Silver State Blonde offers an approachable combination of flavors and aromas. Courtesy of CraftHaus Brewery in Henderson, this ale has a 4.8% ABV and features notes of caramelized sweetness. Able Baker Brewing Company’s Atomic Duck, made in-house from their taproom, which is just a few steps away from 1228 Main. The ale yields notes of citrus, tropical fruit and pine, and is characterized by a strong hoppiness and noticeable malt flavor.
Draft beers are always half-off during 1228 Main’s daily happy hour, available from 3 – 6 p.m. daily. Happy hour specials also include 50% off select wines, sangria, negronis, palomas and well cocktails.
In keeping with downtown Las Vegas’ eclectic bar scene, 1228 Main offers next-level cocktails, including barrel-aged spirits that are used in the negronis. Highlights from the cocktail menu include the 1228 Negroni, made with bay leaf Botanist Gin, Campari, Amaro Nonino and Carpano Antica; and “Mysterious Ways,” described as a ginger spice and stone fruit cocktail inspired by a Pimm’s cup, is made with apricot Carpano Antica, Averna, ginger, lemon and Fever Tree pink grapefruit sparkling soda. 1228 Main also features an enviable wine collection, which includes more than a dozen selections by the glass, reflecting new finds one might look forward to sharing with friends versus statement wines.
