Cabo Wabo Cantina to Toast to National Tequila Day
with Flights, Margaritas, a Featured Dish and More
In celebration of National Tequila Day, Cabo Wabo Cantina, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ Strip-side restaurant located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will offer tequila flights, margaritas, a special tequila-infused dish and more on Monday, July 24.
Cabo Wabo will pour flights of Hagar’s own Santo Tequila exclusively for the day, priced at $22. The flight will include a one ounce pour of the Blanco, Reposado and the recently released Añejo varieties. The restaurant also offers more than 50 types of tequila on its menu with which to toast National Tequila Day.
The bartenders at the cantina will also be shaking things up with a variety of signature margaritas including Cocorita, a tropical-inspired margarita made with Cabo Wabo Blanco Tequila, lime juice and crème of coconut, served on the rocks and garnished with a freshly toasted coconut rim; the Tamarind Margarita, a combination of Sammy’s own Santo Blanco Tequila, lime juice, triple sec and house-made tamarind syrup served on the rocks; and the Blood Orange Margarita, handcrafted with Tattoo Blanco tequila, blood orange puree, lime juice and blood orange liqueur served on the rocks; among others. Cabo Wabo’s margaritas are available by the glass or make it a party with a pitcher.
Additionally, guests can embrace the holiday with “Sammy’s Tequila Shrimp” made with Baja shrimp, garlic and Cabo Wabo tequila-lime sauce, served with Mexican rice.
