Downtown Grand’s Art Bar to Debut New Drink Menu
New offerings position property as only downtown hotel and casino to authentically serve absinthe
Downtown Grand’s Art Bar, located in the main lobby, will debut a new drink menu on TBD, to include drink options featuring absinthe and other unique ingredients. Downtown Grand is currently the only downtown hotel and casino that authentically serves absinthe utilizing a canister with a drip spiket and a special, flat slotted spoon.
The new menu will be available 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and include art-themed drinks such as The Mona made with Peach Schnapps, peach puree pearls and La Marca Prosecco- a drink that is known as Leonardo’s take on the classic Bellini; Pearl Earring, a mixture of Malibu Rum, vanilla infused orange juice, and a splash of pomegranate syrup topped with Myers Dark Rum and garnished with a fresh basil leaf; The Green Muse, a combination of Skyy Strawberry Vodka and Mother’s sour apple, briefly smoked with applewood served over sour apple ice sphere; American Gothic, consisting of Jagermeister, Ameretto and fresh muddled raspberry and mint with a splash of ginger beer; Absinthe On Fire, Absinthe prepared the traditional way, lightly chilled and sweetened; and Night Watch, a mixture of Skyy Georgia Peach Vodka, ginger beer, and black cherry reduction topped off with sparkling water.

At Art Bar, guests may sit at the bar or lounge in overstuffed chairs and other seating perfectly conducive to relaxation, stimulating conversation or creative contemplation—whichever inspires them most. Art Bar offers quick drinks, small bites and cocktails. Most distinctively, dozens of reproductions of fine art masterpieces adorn Art Bar’s ceiling. Art Bar features changing exhibitions of artwork by Southern Nevada-based artists.
