Downtown’s new Restaurant, Zai Las Vegas, Hosts Grand Opening, March 31

ZAI Las Vegas, an exciting new upscale restaurant, and bar concept will be opening its doors in downtown Las Vegas on March 31st. Created by Chingon Hospitality Group, ZAI Las Vegas is the group’s first Southern Nevada location, bringing the revolutionary concept to the entertainment capital of the world. The grand opening celebration will also feature ZAI Rooftop Nightclub, which will have a free open bar from 8PM – 11PM.
“We are thrilled to introduce our unique concept to the Las Vegas culinary scene,” said Founding Chef Noé Alcalá. “Our aim is to provide guests with an unforgettable dining and nightlife experience that combines great gastronomy and entertainment to create an unforgettable Las Vegas experience.”
ZAI is more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience that transports guests to a vibrant world of flavors. The menu features cuisine from multiple gastronomies with a modern twist. Leveraging both traditional and modern techniques, to offer an array of fresh dishes that stands to challenge the contemporary taste bud. ZAI’s culinary team prides itself in sustainable & local sourcing as well as genuinely scratch made recipes. Not limited to the breads, pastas and accompaniments their team makes in house daily.
Appetizers include corn ribs with cobs cut lengthwise topped with spread, cotija cheese, a flavor explosion sprinkle of pop rocks candy & seasoned with tajin and cilantro. The Sushi Bunker combines shrimp, crab, cucumber, avocado, crispy onion, and carrots seasoned with serrano and topped with honey yum yum and eel sauce. For a Latin taste, enchiladas filled with duck confit and The Chinese Pancakes topped with Chilhuacle sauce and sour cream on a bed of lettuce. End with an indulgent dessert choice like The Fried Milk, which is maiz ice cream topped with berries, cinnamon popcorn, and caramel. Guests can watch the action in the kitchen through its huge, open bay.
The second floor of ZAI transforms into ZAI Nightclub, a high-energy rooftop nightclub. Featuring top DJs and performers, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and an energetic atmosphere that will keep guests dancing all night, plans to be the hottest spot in town. The weekly programming ranges from the hottest Latin, hip-hop, and Caribbean parties to open mic nights and drag shows.
In addition to offering a unique dining and nightlife experience, Chef Noé plans to give back to his hometown of Tepatitlán by donating his time, knowledge, and facilities of the restaurant— Planning cooking classes for autistic children and events for marginalized regions are just some of the ways he plans to contribute to his community.
