NEW YEAR’S EVE SPECIALS AT THE SOUTH POINT HOTEL, CASINO & SPA

South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will be ringing in 2024 in style, with multiple entertainment and dining experiences on Sunday, Dec. 31. Each experience will include a champagne toast and a confetti celebration as the clock strikes midnight. Tickets can be purchased online at southpointcasino.com/entertainment. Guests must be 21 or older.

 

ENTERTAINMENT

 

Human Nature will perform in the Grand Ballroom. The doors will open at 8 p.m. and the Ally Cats will perform ahead of Human Nature at 8:15 p.m. Each ticket will include a four-course dinner, open bar, party favors, a confetti celebration and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $169 per person.

 

The Bronx Wanderers will host the New Year’s Eve Dance Party in the South Point Showroom. Doors will open at 9 p.m. and the show will begin at 10:30 p.m. Each ticket will include two drinks, party favors, a confetti celebration and a champagne toast. Tickets are $75 per person.

 

The Spazmatics will perform and host a can’t-miss 80s New Year’s Eve dance party in the Exhibit Hall. Tickets are $95 and will include an open bar, party favors, hors d‘oeuvres along with a champagne toast. Doors open at 9 p.m.

 

The Alley Cats will be performing the New Year’s at Noon show in The Showroom. This is an all-age show and each ticket is $24. Doors open at 12 p.m. and the show begins at 1 p.m. Tickets will include party favors, a confetti celebration and a champagne toast for guests 21 and over.

 

DINING

 

Garden Buffet will serve a brunch from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $27.95 per person for Club members or $29.95 per person for nonmembers, including:

  • Bottomless Bloody Mary’s and mimosas
  • Eggs cooked to order, eggs benedict, lox and bagels, build your own omelet station, New York steak and eggs, golden French toast and pancakes, cheese blintz’s, live action salad bar with freshly tossed salads, seasonal fruits and berries with yogurt, peel and eat shrimp, hot and sour Chinese soup, Louisiana gumbo, roast prime rib or beef, Bourbon glazed pork loin, lemon and herb rotisserie chicken, house smoked baby back ribs, veal fricassee, southern fried chicken, Chinese black pepper beef, seared salmon with Cajun cream, new year black eyed peas and collard greens
  • 12 flavor gelato and sorbet bar, macadamia white chocolate bread pudding, French pasties, doughnuts, cakes and pies
  • Also serving from six live international cooking stations

Garden Buffet will serve a seafood dinner from 3- 10 p.m. for $47.95 per person for Club members or $49.95 per person for nonmembers, including:

  • Unlimited champagne, beer or wine
  • Chilled snow and Dungeness crab legs, oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, peel and eat shrimp, sushi and California rolls, roast prime rib of Nebraska beef, salmon wellington, maple glazed pacific salmon, rosemary and thyme rotisserie chicken, surf and turf: tenderloin medallions and shrimp scampi, crepe suzette, Garden Fresh Action Salad Bar with the seasons finest tossed and house made salads, Mediterranean pepper pot, Louisiana seafood gumbo, cioppino, shrimp alfredo, carne Asada, steamed clams and oysters, linguini and clams, chicken Angelo, golden fried shrimp, beef stroganoff, roast duck with grand Marnier sauce, Asian live cooking order, lucky black-eyed peas, seafood paella

Silverado Steakhouse will serve a four-course meal from 4 – 11 p.m. for $74 per person, including:

  • Guests can choose between a bottle of Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon or Rodney Strong Cabernet Chardonnay, the wines of the month for every two people.
  • First course: Pork N’ Bella’s, Portabella mushrooms filled with ground pork, boursin cheese and spinach on a port wine reduction or Seafood Celebration, grilled shrimp on crostini, lump crab taco and lobster bisque or Roasted Brussel Sprouts, folded with crisp bacon, dried cherries, toasted pecans and blue cheese, drizzled with spiced honey or Chilled Shrimp Cocktail, with cocktail and Louise Rose sauces.
  • Second course: Wild Mushroom Bisque En Croute or Silverado Salad, little gem salad with grape tomatoes, cucumber, baby mozzarella, pepperoncini, Dijon vinaigrette and black garlic crostini or Prosciutto Wrapped Salad, baby lettuce wrapped in prosciutto with teardrop tomato relish and golden balsamic glaze.
  • Third course: Surf and turf, 6 oz. broiled filet of beef with two lightly breaded grilled shrimp, merlot demi, and Saffron butter sauce or Fillet of Dover Sole Rios, fillets of dover sole wrapped around gulf shrimp, oven baked and coated with lobster cream sauce with asparagus tips and shiitake mushrooms or Chicken Saltimbocca, sauced scaloppini with chicken and prosciutto, fontina cheese and fresh sage, simmered in marsala wine with truffles or Broiled Veal Chop, 14 oz. Don Vito’s will serve a three-course meal from 4-11 p.m. for $59 per person, including:

  • First course: Osso Buco Ravioli, house made chianti braised veal in pasta pouches with mushroom alfredo cream or The Dons Antipasto Salad, iceberg and little gem lettuce tossed in Dijon vinaigrette with grape tomatoes, garbanzo beans, cucumber, sweetie drop peppers, and salami with parmesan crostini or Roasted Brussel Sprouts with crispy serrano ham, gorgonzola cheese, roasted pecans and sherry drizzle or Mediterranean Seafood Pepper Pot, shrimp, scallops and calamari in a spiced cioppino broth with leeks and diced peppers or Burrata, Pear and Prosciutto, poached pear filled with creamy burrata cheese draped with prosciutto, bibb lettuce, drizzled with olive oil and sea salt.
