Local sports hot spots, Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill at Palace Station Hotel & Casino and The Still at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, will offer hockey fans the ultimate watch party atmospheres to cheer on Vegas’ favorite championship winners with MVP-worthy eats, drinks and exciting giveaways throughout the professional hockey season.
Both restaurants will also offer a specialty cocktail called “We are the Champions,” made with St. Germain elderflower liqueur, Bombay Sapphire gin, champagne and lemon juice, priced at $14 at Tailgate Social and $18 at The Still.
Fans will have the chance to win the cocktail for free ahead of the first game of the season on Tuesday, Oct. 10. In the 10 days leading up to Tailgate’s “Puck Drop Party,” the restaurant will ask Vegas Golden Knights-related trivia questions on Instagram at @TailgateSocialLV that followers can answer. Those who get the correct answer can bring a screenshot as proof to the restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 10 to show to their server for the complimentary drink.
In addition, both restaurants will give away two Knights jerseys during the “Puck Drop Party.” All patrons dining at either restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 10 will receive a ticket for the giveaway when entering the restaurants. The winners will be randomly selected to win one of the jerseys at the start of the game and again at the end of the game.
Throughout the season during any game where Vegas’ beloved home team is playing, fans will be invited to play “Cheer for Your Champ.” Each table will be assigned a player at the start of the game and will win a round of house shots when that player scores a goal.
A lively sports bar and grill offering a vast beer list and game day cocktails, Tailgate Social is the premier place to catch the hockey games with its 30 HDTVs, which are positioned throughout the venue for prime viewing from every seat. Signature menu items include the Tailgate nachos, featuring tortilla chips stacked with nacho cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and a jack-cheese blend, priced starting at $19; the stadium dog, an all-beef hot dog topped with ketchup, relish and mustard with add-ons including bacon, cheese, jalapeños, sauerkraut and onions, priced starting at $12, Philly cheese steak with shaved rib eye steak, completed with griddled onions and provolone cheese, priced at $19.
At The Still, hockey fans will find a menu featuring more than 50 craft beers and upscale bar food, all of which can be enjoyed while watching the games on its 27 HDTVs situated throughout the restaurant. Signature dishes include the crispy style chicken wings with the guest’s choice of sauce, priced starting at $22; steak street tacos made with marinated carne asada, Mexican slaw and arbol salsa, priced at $25; and filet mignon skewers, which are paired with a house made A1 butter, priced at $32.
