TENORS OF ROCK CELEBRATES OPENING NIGHT WITH
AN ELECTRIFYING PERFORMANCE AT HARRAH’S LAS VEGAS, JAN. 19

Last night (Jan. 19, 2017), The Strip’s newest high-powered headliners, TENORS OF ROCK celebrated the opening night performance of their first-ever resident production in the Showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas. The five burly Brits, backed by a shredding band and a bevy of beautiful dancers from famed Sunset Strip burlesque troupe, Little Miss Nasty, were met with countless standing ovations from the packed theater throughout the evening, as they delivered reimagined renditions of the most beloved rock anthems and biggest songs of all time.

“This has been our dream, and you guys are making it happen here tonight,” shared band member and longtime West End veteran Jonny Williams while greeting the full house. The larger-than-life production features dynamic and harmonically complex reimaginations of celebrated classics ranging from the ‘60s through today,  including Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Music of the Night,” and many more. A stunning 36’x20’ LED wall with vibrant graphics, impressive lighting design and cutting-edge sound technologies epically complemented the group’s high-energy vocals and charismatic personalities.

LIMELIGHT Brings the Wild Side of the Roaring 20s to The Plaza with a Limited Engagement

Tickets on Sale Now

LIMELIGHT brings the world of black and white silent films to vivid technicolor life through the art of contemporary burlesque. Tickets are on sale now for a limited engagement at The Plaza Hotel & Casino downtown from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at 10 p.m. Named after one of Charlie Chaplin’s most famous films, LIMELIGHT’s mix of singing, dancing, comedy and magic rekindles the feel and energy of the roaring 20s with a seductive edge.

Producers Jodie McDonald and Danial Brown have joined forces to form their production company Ridicula Imitatio and create LIMELIGHT, as well as choreograph, design costumes for and appear in the show. Brown, who has performed on Broadway and danced with Michael Jackson, steps into the shoes (and bowler hat) of the legendary Charlie Chaplin while McDonald, a former Los Angeles Laker Girl and worldwide choreographer, dances in the vibrant burlesque numbers. Betty Boop is portrayed by Felice Singer, who currently stars in Million Dollar Quartet and has performed in Les Folies Bergere and Fantasy. Rounding out the talented cast are dancers Priscilla Trammel, Carlynn Mazon, Amy Toliver, Kaitlin Morgan and Taylor Huggins.

“LIMELIGHT is a tribute to the artists, like Chaplin, who pioneered the arts of facial expression, body language and movement in telling a story, ” said Brown. “The performers literally jump off the screen and onto the stage in a magical marriage of the old and new that’s sexy, smart, elegant and edgy all at once.”

Dressed in a stunning Stella & Jamie and Christian Louboutins, Electra walked the red carpet while the gorgeous Antin wore a Les Pommettes, Giuseppe rhinestone studded heels and a Chanel belt and clutch. Electra was all smiles as she talked about returning to the Pussycat Dolls scene stating, “Vegas is the perfect place for the Pussycat Dolls and the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Saloon is absolutely beautiful.”

Also walking the red carpet was new father of Moroccan and Monroe, Nick Cannon. Dress casually in a Louis Vuitton letterman jacket, Cannon glowed as he took in crowd congratulations. Inside, local hottie and performer, Matt Goss stopped by to enjoy the show. Sipping on Red Bull vodka while intensely watching the performance, Goss gave the girls a standing ovation after the routine.

Once the show came to an end, Antin thanked Electra for helping to open the new Saloon and Electra excitedly exclaimed, “I am the first to christen the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Saloon.
