Benefiting Cure 4 The Kids Foundation

All proceeds benefit patients in need of treatment who are without medical insurance or unable to afford treatment

 

The public is invited to a special Beauty Carnival on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Mosaic Salon in Boca Park offering haircuts, blowouts, eyebrow waxing, manicures, pedicures, beauty makeovers and consultations — and for the first time — a special Princess Bootcamp!

One hundred (100) percent of the proceeds from all services listed below will benefit the clinics of Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, which treats patients with or without medical insurance and regardless of whether a patient can pay for treatment. All stylists, nail technicians and makeup artists are graciously donating their time so that all funds will support Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.

Mosaic Salon is located at 730 S. Rampart Boulevard, Suite 110 next to Total Wine & More in Boca Park. The Beauty Carnival begins at Noon and will conclude at 4 p.m. Please call 702-672-3263 to make an appointment.

The Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada and the Hemophilia Treatment Center Of Nevada are funded, in part, by Cure 4 The Kids Foundation. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization was founded in 2007 to ensure children with life-threatening illnesses received proper medical attention regardless of their family’s income or presence of health insurance. To date, more than 40,000 patients have been treated by physicians and medical staff at the Children’s Specialty Center and Hemophilia Treatment Center. The Children’s Specialty Center provides medical treatment to children facing devastating diagnoses such as cancer, rheumatology and genetic conditions, sickle cell disease, as well as rare and ultra-rare diseases. All our providers are board certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. The Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) of Nevada provides individual services to children and adults with inherited bleeding and clotting disorders. Race for Life 5K and 1 Mile Walk

WHAT:  The Women’s Medical Resource Center of Southern Nevada (WRMCSN) will host its 27th Anniversary Race for Life 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk will be on Saturday, October 13, 2012.  The WRMCSN is a non-profit 501c3, faith based organization that provides complimentary services to families in need providing FREE peer counseling, ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, maternity and baby clothes, and emergency formula and diapers. Join the WRMCSN as they celebrate LIFE and help raise the necessary funds to keep their Centers open and continue to serve over 5000 client visits each year! All funds raised stay right here in our community and are used to serve the families of Southern Nevada.

WHAT: Girls Day is a very special and unique fundraising event of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas.  The event matches women from the business community with girls from single-parent, disadvantaged homes for a day of games, food, entertainment and prizes.  Girls Day is free to club members – funds are raised by individuals and corporate sponsors.

The “Great American Party” has arrived at Circus Circus! Rock & Rita’s, a bar, restaurant and entertainment hot spot, features flair bartending, live music and festive signature dishes.

THE BIG TOP
High above the casino floor, death-defying performers delight visitors at Circus Circus. The stunts include juggling, high wire walking, trapeze artistry and acrobatics. Performances begin every half hour and are from 11 a.m. to
11 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The Carnival Midway features more than 200 games of skill and chance and is one of the best in town. In the evening, the rotating Horse-A-Round bar featured in the movie “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” is a must.

THE ADVENTUREDOME
The Adventuredome is an indoor theme park featuring rides, attractions and games of skill, including rides for adults and children.

FRIGHT DOME
Beginning Saturday, Oct. 1 Fright Dome takes over The Adventuredome at Circus Circus and will partner with Compass Films International to theme two of its five haunted houses after the legendary horror film HALLOWEEN. Fright Dome’s HALLOWEEN themed houses will bring together popular scenes from the iconic horror movie guaranteed to terrify even the bravest. Dark and fog-filled, Fright Dome creates a chilling atmosphere with roaming characters, high-powered strobes, multi-colored lasers and five acres of fright made up of all new extreme scare zones, rides, attractions and live shows. Not recommended for children under 12.

THE HAUNTING TOUR
This Halloween season the 13th floor at Circus Circus turns into a haunted experience guaranteed to terrify even the bravest. Guests will board a haunted elevator that immediately transports them to the 13th floor which has been transformed with hotel furniture that comes to life, a séance to contact former guests and much more. This haunted tour will give guests a first-hand look at some of these eerie events as they are guided through 13 unique rooms on this grim floor. Hotel “staff” including housekeepers, bellman, concierge and clowns will roam the hallways with grisly motives in mind. The interactive experience will allow guests to become the wedding party for a corpse wedding; tour the bellman’s closet for remnants of guests who have checked in, but not out; and narrowly escape becoming the dinner the staff is preparing for the haunted inhabitants. Not recommended for children under 12.

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS 4-D THRILL RIDE
Guests can enjoy this ride in the SimEx-Iwerks simulation theatre located inside the theme park. The ride delivers a zany and hilarious adventure based on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon series.
