All proceeds benefit patients in need of treatment who are without medical insurance or unable to afford treatment


The public is invited to a special Beauty Carnival on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Mosaic Salon in Boca Park offering haircuts, blowouts, eyebrow waxing, manicures, pedicures, beauty makeovers and consultations — and for the first time — a special Princess Bootcamp!

One hundred (100) percent of the proceeds from all services listed below will benefit the clinics of Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, which treats patients with or without medical insurance and regardless of whether a patient can pay for treatment. All stylists, nail technicians and makeup artists are graciously donating their time so that all funds will support Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.

Mosaic Salon is located at 730 S. Rampart Boulevard, Suite 110 next to Total Wine & More in Boca Park. The Beauty Carnival begins at Noon and will conclude at 4 p.m. Please call 702-672-3263 to make an appointment.

To date, more than 40,000 patients have been treated by physicians and medical staff at the Children’s Specialty Center and Hemophilia Treatment Center. The Children’s Specialty Center provides medical treatment to children facing devastating diagnoses such as cancer, rheumatology and genetic conditions, sickle cell disease, as well as rare and ultra-rare diseases. All our providers are board certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. The Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) of Nevada provides individual services to children and adults with inherited bleeding and clotting disorders. Cure 4 The Kids Foundation’s Charity Care plan ensures patients at The Children’s Specialty Center and the Hemophilia Treatment Center receive medical treatment regardless of family income or presence of medical insurance.

1. Apply Base coat.

2. Apply yellow color on index and pinky nails, and black color on ring finger. Apply Blue color on thumb and middle fingers, and then paint black square on the bottom part of them.

3. Draw a face with beige color on ring finger.

4. Draw blue clothes of the nutcracker.

5. Draw yellow pants of the nutcracker.

6. Draw a collar with white color, and 2 orange lines in the center of the blue part. Draw small orange lines on the tip of the sleeves and pants.

7. Draw curved line on the tip of the nail with camel color. Draw details of the clothes of nutcracker with camel color.

8. Draw a wind-up key with camel color, and draw some patterns of the clothes of the nutcracker with red, orange,and green color. Draw the face of the nutcracker.

9. Draw a black rectangular shape on the upper part of the index and pinky nails.

10. Attach a crystal on the center of the rectangle on index and pinky nails.

11. Draw some random sizes of circles with different colors on thumb and middle nails.

12. Draw 4 dots and lines in center of the white circles with gray color. Draw some stitch lines on the black part with camel color.

13. Apply top coat.

L Makeup Institute, the newly expanded makeup artistry educational academy, announces its free consumer workshop series for the summer and fall seasons. Open to the public and touching on a wide variety of topics, the workshops will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. the first Saturday of every month and will be led by professional artists.


The workshop series comes in conjunction with the institute’s recent retail area expansion which allows the general public access to brands previously available only to professional makeup artists. Consumers will have the opportunity to purchase brands featured in the workshops and educators will be on hand to assist with advice and questions.

August 2 – Applying Makeup for Teenagers: Experts will explore how younger women can appropriately apply makeup and create fresh looks without overpowering natural features.


September 6 – How to Look HD Camera Ready: The workshop will focus on creating a camera-ready look and how to accentuate certain features for the most flattering look in photos. Perfect that selfie in this lesson.


October 4 – The Beauty of Color: The often challenging task of choosing the correct shade for ethnic skin tones will be explored with experts offering advice on matching shades with tones.


November 1 – 40s and Fabulous: Tips on how to achieve a younger look at any age through cosmetics. Guests will learn specific makeup tricks and how to properly apply them to their routine to help achieve a youthful glow.
