Artist Info: As a performer, songwriter and producer, Richard Marx’s nearly three-decade-long career has had innumerable highlights. Marx has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, starting with his self-titled debut which went to #8 and spawned four Top 5 singles, including the chart-topping “Hold on to the Nights,” with “Don’t Mean Nothing” earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. The follow-up, 1989’s Repeat Offender, was even more successful, hitting #1 and going quadruple-platinum with two #1 singles in “Satisfied” and “Right Here Waiting.” When both Rush Street (with two #1 AC hits in “Keep Coming Back” and “Hazard”) and Paid Vacation (with its #1 AC hit, “Now and Forever”) went platinum, Marx achieved a seven-year string of triumphs that rivaled any in pop-rock music history. To this day, he is the only male artist in history to have his first seven singles reach the Top 5 on the Billboard charts.
Richard has also written on a No. 1 single in each of the last four decades, an accolade previously only reached by Michael Jackson. He has written with numerous artists, including “To Where You Are,” the first hit single from Josh Groban’s debut album, and the NSYNC smash, “This I Promise You.” He went on to earn a 2004 Song of the Year Grammy for co-authoring Luther Vandross’ “Dance with My Father.” Overall, he has scored 14 No. 1 singles (including Keith Urban’s No. 1 smash “Long Hot Summer”), both as a performer and as a songwriter/producer, revealing him a true multi-talented performer who continues to challenge himself and his fans.

Artist Info: Joss Stone, a singer-songwriter from Devon, UK, has been captivated by soul music since she was a little girl. As she moved through her early teens, she intuitively honed her now trademark gravely-but-lustrous vocals by singing along to Aretha’s Franklin’s Greatest Hits. She began pursuing a singing career at 13, securing a record deal at 15, and recording her star-making, critically acclaimed debut album, The Soul Sessions, which was released in 2003.
Grammy and Brit award-winning Stone has since released seven studio albums, as she has continued in her journey of musical exploration. At just 30 years old, Joss has already enjoyed a long career. She has kept the company of musical royalty from the outset. Performing alongside many legendary artists, such as James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Sting, Van Morrison and Melissa Etheridge, amongst many others. She has collaborated with many of the world’s finest musicians, including Jeff Beck, Sting, Mick Jagger and Damien Marley.
Her love of music and fierce independence has led Stone to break away from the constraints of being tied to a label and has enabled her to explore many different genres of music. Artist Info: The first rebellion started in 1986. Hailing from New Jersey, Skid Row has since risen to the thrashy tune of top-ten singles, gold and multi-platinum sales and Billboard No.1 Album Slave to the Grind. Refusing to grow old, Skid Row’s combination of classic dual-guitars, charismatic vocals and “us-against-them” mentality, helped propel the band to lasting heights in the late 80’s, early 90’s and today.
Big-haired, leather-wearing rockers, Warrant gained international popularity with their double-platinum debut Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. Glam metal in nature, the band’s catchy, yet melodic sound, has blazed the trail for over 30 years of sweet surprises, including five albums reaching world-wide success with international sales of over 10 million.
When former member of Alice Cooper’s band, bassist Kip Winger formed his own group in 1986, Winger was born. The American heavy-metal band soared to popularity through their employment of glam metal and progressive metal elements. In 1990, Winger was nominated for the American Music Award’s “Best New Heavy Metal” band.
Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band founded in Los Angeles in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni. In 1983, Quiet Riot released their breakthrough album Metal Health, which is known for being the first heavy metal album to top the Billboard album chart. Despite several lineup changes and brief breakups, Quiet Riot continued to record and tour with new music scheduled to be released coinciding with their upcoming 2022 tour.

Jimmie Allen

Artist Info: A native of Southern Delaware, Allen has carried his “never give up” mantra with him through good times and bad, from living in his car to receiving his first Academy of Country Music Award nomination for New Male Artist of the Year in 2019 and a Country Music Association Award nomination for New Artist of the Year in 2020.
In 2021, Allen was named the ACM’s New Male Artist of the Year, becoming the first Black artist to win that category since its inception, and a win with which he hopes “opens some doors for more Black artists to have success in country and more Black artists to feel comfortable enough to do country, if that’s what they want to do.” With the 2018 release of his debut album “Mercury Lane” — named for the street he grew up on — a lifetime of never giving up brought him full circle.
It’s an understatement to say 2021 was a monumental year for Allen, who received the only country nomination in an all-genre category for the Grammy Awards, released his latest star-studded collaboration album “Bettie James Gold Edition,” and published his first children’s book, “My Voice Is a Trumpet.”
In addition to his ACM and CMA awards, Allen reached the quarterfinals of the 30th season of “Dancing With The Stars,” served as executive music producer for the Netflix series, “Titletown High,” performed at the Kennedy Center Honors in tribute to Garth Brooks, launched the inaugural Bettie James Fest in his hometown of Milton, Delaware, and appeared on Elton John’s newest album, “The Lockdown Sessions,” with the track “Beauty In The Bones.
