LAX Nightclub continues popular LAX Nightclubseries with Arrested Development on June 23 and Chingy on July 7
LAX Nightclub at Luxor Hotel and Casino will take audiences from “Tennessee” to “Right Thurr” as it continues its popular Throwback Thursday series with Arrested Development on June 23 and Chingy on July 7. The acclaimed artists who shook the airwaves in the 1990s and early 2000s, respectively, will take guests back to hits from their fan-favorite song catalogues.
Arrested Development released its debut album “3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of…” in 1992 to popular and critical praise. In 1993, the alternative hip hop group won two GRAMMY awards for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, and was named Band of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine. The community conscious performers remain well-known for hits including “Tennessee” and “People Everyday.”
Chingy became a household name in 2003 with the release of the single “Right Thurr” and his chart-topping debut album “Jackpot.” The Dirty South-influenced artist from St. Louis went on to release infectious hits including “One Call Away,” “Holidae Inn,” and “Balla Baby.” While pursuing a career in film and on television, the platinum-selling artist recorded the popular albums “Powerballin’,” “Hoodstar,” and “Hate It or Love It.”

Action-movie hero, sitcom star, syndicated game show host, advertising pitchman, former NFL player and best-selling author all describe the man that is Terry Crews. Over the past few years, Crews has been one of those actors whom fans see almost everywhere. As the overworked dad on “Everybody Hates Chris,” a tough guy in the feature franchise “The Expendables,” the loveable goofball in “White Chicks,” “Will McAvoy’s” bodyguard in “The Newsroom,” the pec-popping Old Spice pitchman and randy congressman “Herbert Love” in “Arrested Development,”
Crews has proven that he’s adept at both drama and comedy. He currently stars as “Sgt. Terry Jeffords” on FOX’s Golden Globe Award-winning and SAG Award-nominated comedy series BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, and he is also the newest host of the popular syndicated game show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.” Audiences could also catch Crews on the big screen last year, with roles in Tyler Perry’s “The Single Mom’s Club”; “Draft Day,” with Kevin Costner; and “Blended,” with Adam Sandler. Not one to limit himself, Crews also added author to his resume last year with the release of his first book, “Manhood.”
