This Fall, multi-platinum Grammy-nominated band Goo Goo Dolls will embark on the SiriusXM Presents: Goo Goo Dolls – Dizzy Up The Girl 20th Anniversary Tour, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their iconic album, Dizzy Up The Girl. The tour will make a stop at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, November 10. The band will be performing the record in its entirety at each show, followed by an additional set packed with surprises and more of their many unforgettable hits. Singer John Rzeznik added “I am incredibly excited to share this album in its entirety with our fans”. First released on September 22, 1998 via Warner Bros. Records, Dizzy Up The Girl is often noted for being the album that catapulted the band into mainstream success and is one of their most successful albums to date. The show will also feature a live musical performance by the Goo Goo Dolls, who recently released their new album Boxes. The show will feature top ice dancers and professional dancers who have choreographed numbers to the Goo Goo Dolls’ music.

The cast features the most decorated ice dancing team in U.S. figure skating history, 2014 Olympic Champions, two-time World Champions and six-time U.S. Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White. Following the Olympics, Davis and White competed in the 18th season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” where Davis was crowned champion and White was a semi-finalist.

The magical night will be hosted by Robert Herjavec, the star of ABC’s “Shark Tank” and a former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant. He will be joined by 1992 Olympic gold medalist and former “Dancing with the Stars” champion Kristi Yamaguchi.

• Dmitry Chaplin – a Russian-born dancer, actor, choreographer, and teacher, Chaplin began ballroom dancing at the age of 12 and has won many national and international titles whilst representing the United States. He has appeared as a star professional on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and as a competitor and Emmy®-nominated choreographer on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” He headlined the Las Vegas spectacular “Dancing with the Stars – Live” and has choreographed and made appearances on several TV shows including FOX’s “Bones” and ABC Family’s “Baby Daddy.”

• Chelsie Hightower – a multi-talented American dancer, teacher and Emmy®-nominated choreographer, Hightower was a professional dance partner and choreographer on “Dancing with the Stars” for seven seasons, competed on season four of “So You Think You Can Dance” and was selected as one of 10 “So You Think You Can Dance” all-stars in season 10. She also tours the country teaching and performing at corporate and charity events. Her dancing career started at the age of nine and she won her first national title at the age of 11.

• Tristan MacManus – widely known as a dance pro in the hit reality show “Dancing with the Stars,” MacManus started dancing in his hometown of Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. He later competed around Europe winning numerous championships and appeared in several live productions including “Oliver!,” “Aladdin” and “Simply Ballroom,’ among others. He also joined the cast of “Dirty Dancing” as Dance Captain and appeared in the movie, “Ella Enchanted.” MacManus appeared in five seasons of “Dancing with the Stars” pairing up with five well-known celebrities, including skater Dorothy Hamill.

• Anna Trebunskaya – she made her “Dancing with the Stars” debut during the show’s second season, partnering with NFL legend Jerry Rice and placing 2nd on the hit competition show. Since then, fan favorite Trebunskaya has waltzed, foxtrotted, tangoed and cha cha’ed with celebrities and athletes such as NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, US Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek, boxing great Sugar Ray Leonard, UFC fighter Chuck Liddell, actor Steve Guttenberg, fashion guru Carson Kressley, soap opera star Jack Wagner and 98 Degrees heartthrob and Broadway actor Drew Lachey. Trebunskaya is an entrepreneur and owns the You Can Dance ballroom studio in Hermosa Beach, Calif., with her mother, Irina.

Rock legends Goo Goo Dolls, with Tribe Society and Collective Soul, brought an unforgettable night to the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) on Friday, September 16 to celebrate the D Las Vegas’ fifth anniversary weekend. Coming to the conclusion of their highly-successful summer tour, the bands electrified fans with hits from the past and present.

Formed in 2015, the New York-based progressive group Tribe Society opened the show with an array of songs showcasing their eclectic sound. Next up, the multiplatinum quintet Collective Soul took to the stage to perform a slew of #1 hits they have achieved over two decades. Known for classics like “Shine,” the fans jumped and danced to their energetic performance.

With more than 10 million albums sold worldwide, celebrated band Goo Goo Dolls continued the action-packed evening by starting with “Long Way Down,” “Here is Gone” and their beloved song “Slide.” The band reminded guests of their incredible 30-year career with “Big Black Balloon,” “Bringing on the Light,” and #1 Billboard favorite “Iris.”

ONE DIRECTION

SUBLIME WITH ROME
Ska-punk band Sublime with Rome will bring its distinctive sound to the stage at the Mandalay Bay Beach for a performance Saturday, Aug. 17. Sublime with Rome is a collaboration between Eric Wilson of the legendary band Sublime and gifted songwriter and musician Rome Ramirez. Their first big show as Sublime with Rome was in October 2009 at the annual Smokeout Festival. A sold-out tour followed in March 2010 and that fall, Sublime with Rome entered the studio to begin recording its debut album Yours Truly, released in the summer of 2011. Songs like “Panic,” “Take It Or Leave” and “You Better Listen” are reminiscent of vintage Sublime, while songs like “Lover’s Rock” and “Murdera” pick-up on the reggae dancehall style the band began exploring in 1996.

Popular reggae musician Ziggy Marley will perform at the Mandalay Bay Beach Sunday, Sept. 1. Marley, the oldest son of music legend Bob Marley, made his recording debut in 1979 with a group comprised of his father and three siblings. The group became known as The Melody Makers and released 14 albums over three decades. Ziggy Marley began his solo career in 2003 when he released Dragonfly (Ghetto Youths Crew), a record label he created while working with the United Nations. 2013 TIGER JAM FEATURING KID ROCK
Multi-platinum recording artist Kid Rock will bring his Rebel Soul Tour to the Mandalay Bay Events Center to headline the 15th Annual Tiger Jam Saturday, May 18. Bell Biv DeVoe (BBD), featuring Ricky Bell, Michael Bivens and Ron DeVoe, will perform Memorial Day Weekend at the Mandalay Bay Beach Sunday, May 26. An offshoot of the hugely popular ‘80s vocal group New Edition, BBD fused hip-hop beats, b-boy attitude and R&B harmonies. Indie-rock band Grace Potter and the Nocturnals will perform at the Mandalay Bay Beach Saturday, June 8. Formed in 2002, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals began with small gigs on the St. Lawrence University campus where founding member Grace Potter attended school. The group released its independently recorded debut album Nothing but the Water in 2005, which earned them a record deal with Hollywood Records. The band’s second studio album This Is Somewhere features the song “Apologies,” which can be heard on television shows such as “One Tree Hill” and “All My Children.” The band is currently touring in support of its most recent album, The Lion The Beast The Beat, which was released in June 2012.

SUBLIME WITH ROME
Ska-punk band Sublime with Rome will bring its distinctive sound to the stage at the Mandalay Bay Beach for a performance Saturday, Aug. 17. Sublime with Rome is a collaboration between Eric Wilson of the legendary band Sublime and gifted songwriter and musician Rome Ramirez. Their first big show as Sublime with Rome was in October 2009 at the annual Smokeout Festival. A sold-out tour followed in March 2010 and that fall, Sublime with Rome entered the studio to begin recording its debut album Yours Truly, released in the summer of 2011. Songs like “Panic,” “Take It Or Leave” and “You Better Listen” are reminiscent of vintage Sublime, while songs like “Lover’s Rock” and “Murdera” pick-up on the reggae dancehall style the band began exploring in 1996.

Popular reggae musician Ziggy Marley will perform at the Mandalay Bay Beach Sunday, Sept. 1. Marley, the oldest son of music legend Bob Marley, made his recording debut in 1979 with a group comprised of his father and three siblings. The group became known as The Melody Makers and released 14 albums over three decades. Ziggy Marley began his solo career in 2003 when he released Dragonfly (Ghetto Youths Crew), a record label he created while working with the United Nations. In 2006, he released his second solo album, Love Is My Religion, which won a GRAMMY Award for “Best Reggae Album.” His third solo album, Family Time, was released in 2009 and was dedicated to all of the children in the world.
