BBLV Industry Night makes its return

The KR33PZ consists of best friends Conor (DJ ConTra) and Chris (MeanMeansy). The Vegas duo decided to mesh their separate musical backgrounds together to create the KR33PZ. Fairly new to this DJ partnership, the two put their different styles and genres together to open up a new avenue of opportunity. The team was actually started over a few beers and a load of confidence. The original plan was to play music for their friends and coworkers, but realized “Hey, we can make something out of this!” With their background and connections in the nightclub and day pool industry, it was a seamless transition from house parties to clubs.

Doors for BBLV Industry Night feat. KR33PZ at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 9 p.m. This night is for ages 21 and up. There is no cost to attend this event. Find information about BBLV Industry Night at http://ticketf.ly/29WglQ8.

Eric Paslay is a platinum-selling hit songwriter and dynamic live entertainer. Paslay has racked up five number-one hits as a songwriter, including “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” (Eli Young Band), “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” (Jake Owen), “Angel Eyes” (Love & Theft), “Rewind” (Rascal Flatts) and his own performance of “FridayNight,” the smash lead single from his critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. The Texas native is a recent Grammy Award nominee (his first as a recording artist) in the “Best Country Duo/Group” category for “The Driver,” performed by Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, featuring Paslay and Dierks Bentley.

Jill & Julia, the Las Vegas-based duo who has also played the Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival and Route 91 Harvest Festival, will open the show.

Doors for Eric Paslay at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 7 p.m. This show is for ages 18 and up. Islander is an American nu metal band from Greenville, South Carolina. While the band has been playing together in some form since 2006, the group came together as Islander in 2011. After some rotation in the lineup, something of a supergroup formed toward the end of 2015.

Lead singer Mikey Carvajal leads the quartet that includes former Love and Death guitarist J.R. Bareis, who also served as guitar technician for Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch. Zeke Vasquez, formerly of ForeverAtLast, joined to play bass and Arin Ilejay moved from Avenged Sevenfold’s kit to play drums for Islander.

The band teamed up early in 2016 with producer Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Alkaline Trio) to work on “Power Under Control,” Islander’s second full-length studio album. The band cites a renewed energy and sense of purpose with the new lineup of musicianship.

The Funeral Portrait, XXI and Jessie Smith and the Holy Ghost will all provide support on this date.

Doors for Islander at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 6 p.m. This show is for ages 18 and up. Tickets start at $15 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/2a6bayA.

TUESDAY, OCT. 4 AT 9 P.M.

Tycho, the ambient music project helmed by Scott Hansen – primary writer, composer and producer – is a down-tempo, blend of vintage synthesizers and wandering melodies, interspersed with newscasts and other human voice samples. Unlike many contemporary electronic music artists, Tycho retains the low fidelity sound of analog media, allowing the more progressive elements of his work to stand out. His blend of electronic synth, live instrumentation, and old school sound clips creates a relatable ambience.

Hansen made a decision to open both Tycho’s recording and live performances to collaboration with other musicians. Tycho has toured live most notably with Zac Brown on Bass and Roy O’Connor on drums, Hansen often playing guitar.

Big Wild and Heathered Pearls will provide support on this date.

Doors for Tycho at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 7 p.m. This show is for ages 18 and up. Tickets start at $25 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/2a5DrHg.

ScHoolboy Q

Hailing from South Central Los Angeles, ScHoolboy Q, born Quincy Matthew Hanley, spent years in the mixtape underground before breaking into the heart of his career with his debut full-length album “Setbacks” in 2011. He released his first major label record “Oxymoron” on Feb. 25, 2014. Singles “Collard Greens,” “Man of the Year” and “Studio” all charted on the Billboard Hot 100. He is also a founding member of the Black Hippy collective with Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul.

In June of 2016, ScHoolboy Q revealed the title of his forthcoming album would be “Blank Face LP,” and he released the cover art for the album, which displayed the famous “Crying Jordan” meme. He would later reveal that he was only trolling his fans, and the true album art was revealed.

Brooklyn native Joey Bada$$ provides support on this date. The 21-year-old phenom began writing poetry and lyrics as early as age 11 and co-founded the Pro Era collective, releasing a series of mixtapes with the group of high school friends.

Doors for ScHoolboy Q at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 7 p.m. This show is for ages 18 and up. Tickets start at $42.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public now at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/29VFyws.

Meshuggah is a Swedish extreme metal band from Umeå, formed in 1987. Meshuggah’s line-up consists of founding members Jens Kidman (vocals) and Fredrik Thordendal (lead guitar). Tomas Haake (drums) joined in 1990, Mårten Hagström (rhythm guitar) joined in 1992 and Dick Lövgren (bass) has been with Meshuggah since 2004.

Meshuggah has become known for their continued persistence in pushing the envelope of heavy metal, blazing new trails of innovation and technicalities that push the genre forward.

Doors for Meshuggah at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 8 p.m. This show is for ages 18 and up. Tickets start at $32.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/29Q7JwK.

Asking Alexandria

Asking Alexandria brings their “10 Years In The Black Tour” to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, and the English metalcore quintet could not be more excited. “I can’t remember the last time I was this excited for a tour,” said guitarist Ben Bruce. “Not only is this our first true North American headlining tour in two years, as well as our first real U.S. headliner with Denis [Stoff] as our vocalist, but this is also a tour celebrating the incredible 10 year journey of Sumerian Records.”

Asking Alexandria’s March 2016 release “The Black” debuted at number nine on the Billboard Top 200. Supporting artists that will perform with Asking Alexandria at Brooklyn Bowl will also bring new music to the table. Born of Osiris released “Soul Sphere” last fall; I See Stars recently released “Treehouse;” After The Burial’s “Dig Deep” arrived in February, 2016; and Upon a Burning Body is currently working on their fourth album. Bad Omens will release their self-titled debut in August.

Doors for Asking Alexandria at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 5:30 p.m. This show is for all ages. Tickets start at $22.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/2auwIVj.

Seether & Papa Roach with special guests Kyng & Islander at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Feb. 7

SATURDAY, FEB. 7, 2015 AT 7 P.M.

Tickets on sale Friday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.

Rock bands Seether and Papa Roach with special guests Kyng and Islander will take the stage at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at 7 p.m.

Tickets start at $39.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 at the Hard Rock Hotel Box Office, online at AXS.com or by calling 888-9-AXS-TIX.

Multi-platinum alternative rock trio Seether, comprised of Shaun Morgan (vocals, guitar), Dale Stewart (bass, backing vocals) and John Humphrey (drums), have developed into one of rock’s most fearsome units – playing with precision, grit and authority, yet still light on their feet. The band, originally from South Africa, has released eight albums including two certified platinum, two certified gold and a live concert DVD that has sold over 500,000 copies. Seether has quietly amassed 11 No. 1 singles and 17 top five multi-format hits.

GRAMMY award-nominated, multi-platinum hard rock group Papa Roach, made up of Jacoby Shaddix (vocals), Jerry Horton (guitars), Tobin Esperance (bass) and Tony Palermo (drums), have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and are most known for their hit songs “Last Resort,” “She Loves Me Not,” “Scars” and “Getting Away with Murder.” After supporting 2012’s The Connection for nearly two years, the quartet collectively decided on a change of scenery for their eighth album, which resulted in its most infectious, invigorating and incendiary body of work to date, F.E.A.R. Papa Roach preserves the robust riffs and swaggering rhythms that marked the bands initial call-to-arms, while seamlessly infusing cinematic electronic flourishes, sweeping hooks and magnetic melodies. The New Year also marks an important milestone as the 15th anniversary of Papa Roach’s triple-platinum debut, Infest, which solidified them as hard rock leaders. Since then, the band has paved the way for countless other acts to find success at both radio and on stage.
