Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino ushers in 9,192 square-feet of new tenants with the openings of four new dining and retail destinations – Meatball Spot, Ketchup Premium Burger Bar, Tervis and Shoe Palace.

Two new restaurants will soon join the center’s selection of 15 incredible dining experiences. The Meatball Spot will bring its Italian cuisine and delectable desserts to Miracle Mile Shops this winter. The restaurant will feature variations of gourmet meatballs served with a choice of sauce, ranging from classic tomato to mushroom gravy, and toasted French bread. The soon-to-be hotspot will also serve flatbreads, salads, soups, sides, beer and wine. Guests with a sweet tooth are sure to delight at a selection of gourmet desserts.

Making its Las Vegas debut, Ketchup Premium Burger Bar will offer guests an array of all-American cuisine. The menu will feature burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes and alcohol-infused milkshakes. The quick-serve concept will open its doors in November.

The makers of the original tumbler, Tervis will open its doors at Miracle Mile Shops in December. With roots dating back to 1946, Tervis started when engineers Frank Cotter and G. Howlett Davis harnessed the natural insulating powers of air to create a permanently sealed, double-walled tumbler. Through the years, the company has evolved to offer six tumbler sizes along with hundreds of customizable designs, emblems and accessory combinations.

Opening in February 2014, Shoe Palace will bring its wide selection of footwear, apparel and accessories to Miracle Mile Shops. Built on the foundation of providing consumers the ultimate experience, Shoe Palace offers a variety of elite clothing and shoe brands, including Nike, Adidas, Jordan, Puma, UGG, Mizuno, Vans and much more. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Melissa Gorga, enjoyed a birthday feast at Meatball Spot inside Town Square Las Vegas on Friday afternoon.

Accompanied by her husband, Joe Gorga, and cast mates, Kathy and Rich Wakile, the bombshell and her group sampled “Top Chef” Carla Pellegrino’s classic Italian cuisine.

While Gorga sipped on a Strawberry Peach Sangria, the party of four shared the Tomato and Cucumber Salad and hearty Garbage Salad. As a main course, the Gorgas and Wakiles indulged in a half-tray of Sausage and Ricotta Pizza, and passed around bowls of Classic Meatballs with Classic Sauce, Chicken Meatballs with Parmesan Cream Sauce and Beef Meatballs topped with Spicy Meat Sauce and melted Provolone Cheese.

For dessert, the eatery surprised Gorga with a Birthday Cake milkshake. After one sip of Meatball Spot’s signature shake, the brunette beauty exclaimed, “I love this! This is incredible.”

A packed Friday night at Meatball Spot in Town Square Las Vegas was the place to be as Claire Sinclair, Playboy’s 2011 Playmate of the Year, and TJ Lavin, BMX pro, both came in for dinner last night.

Sinclair was thrilled to sample the celebrated fare by her superstar chef friend, Carla Pellegrino. In town for the Mike Tyson Cares gala, all eyes were on the bombshell who was wearing a winter white dress and red lipstick. The brunette beauty enjoyed the eatery’s signature White Sangria and ordered the ever-popular Kitchen Sink Salad, along with a meatball trio and a half sheet of cheese pizza

Lavin has quickly become a regular at the popular new dining hot spot, and chose Meatball Spot to celebrate his birthday. Accompanied by his fiancée and family, the motocross athlete noshed on Pellegrino’s classic meatballs with spicy meat sauce, salad and Margherita pizza.

For dessert, Chef Carla’s kitchen made a special birthday cake for the athlete and sent out a Cookie Explosion Milkshake. Lavin and his family also enjoyed a variety of ice cream sandwiches including the Bananas Foster, Strawberry and the Classic ice cream sandwich made with chocolate ice cream.

Lavin later took to Twitter, “Thanks @MeatballSpot and @ChefCarlaPelleg for dinner, it was amazing! The food was nuts!!”

“Jersey Shore” star, DJ Pauly D, singer, Ryan Cabrera, BMX superstar, TJ Lavin and System of a Down drummer, John Dolmayan all dined at the new Meatball Spot (www.meatballspot.com) at Town Square Las Vegas this weekend.

On Sunday afternoon, the MTV star took a break from his GTL routine to try the new eatery’s Chicken meatballs with Garlic Parmesan sauce, Classic meatballs with spicy meat sauce, Beef meatballs with classic tomato sauce, and Mac and Cheese. The self-proclaimed “Guido” was joined by Gerard “Big Jerry” Gialanella and a group of friends, who also enjoyed a full tray of ‘Roman Style’ pizza with sausage and tomato. The party also devoured the Kitchen Sink Salad before finishing off their feast with Meatball Spot’s delectable Bananas Foster and Chocolate Chip ice cream sandwiches. Pauly D was so impressed by the service he received, he left a $500 tip.

On Saturday, recording artist, Ryan Cabrera, enjoyed Meatball Spot’s Classic meatballs with spicy meat sauce, along with a half tray of pizza topped with pepperoni and pineapple. The handsome crooner washed his meal down with a Manhattan cocktail and a Jack Daniel’s on the rocks.

Just tables away, “System of a Down” rocker, Dolmayan, savored two Classic Meatball Sliders and a Margarita pizza while sitting at the bar.

Returning for a second time on Saturday, BMX rider, Lavin, enjoyed Classic meatballs with Classic tomato sauce with a variety of salads, including the popular Kitchen Sink salad. Lavin also enjoyed a ‘Roman Style’ pizza with his friends.

Also making an appearance at the new hot spot on Saturday was professional boxer Zab Judah and his family.  They enjoyed a full tray of cheese pizza along with assorted meatballs. Judah indulged in a Strawberry Milkshake while his son had a Cookie Explosion Milkshake.

BMX pro TJ Lavin stopped by Meatball Spot at Town Square Las Vegas for a tasty Black Friday lunch this afternoon.

Joined by his new wife, Roxanne, and Skin Industries owner Al Borda, the group noshed on classic meatballs with Chef Carla Pellegrino’s mouthwatering, classic tomato sauce, along with a crisp Caesar salad and a full tray of ‘Roman Style’ cheese pizza. For dessert, the table shared Bananas Foster and vanilla ice cream sandwiches.

During his meal, Lavin tweeted, “I think I just found my new favorite place to eat…the best place and it’s in Town Square check it!”

Twilight heartthrob Alex Meraz celebrated the release of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” at Meatball Spot at Town Square in Las Vegas last night.

Meraz, who arrived with wife Kim on his arm, looked dapper in dark jeans and a fitted black jacket as he walked in the door.

The studly wolf pack member devoured a plate of hearty classic meatballs paired with Chef Carla Pellegrino’s signature spicy meat sauce, a classic Italian pizza with artichokes, prosciutto, black olives and cheese, and Panzanella Salad with cucumber, tomato and pieces of tasty feta cheese.

For dessert, the couple noshed on a delicious peanut butter cup ice cream sandwich along with a creamy black and white milkshake drizzled with chocolate sauce.

In between sips of Chianti, Meraz greeted hundreds of fans eagerly awaiting a photo with the Twilight hunk. Girls screamed as they finally got to the front of the line and were welcomed with open arms from Meraz.

Also dining at Meatball Spot on Saturday night was Britney Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph. The legendary talent manager enjoyed a plate of chicken meatballs with classic tomato sauce, savory turkey meatballs with parmesan cream sauce and a ‘Roman Style’ pepperoni and pineapple pizza. For dessert, Rudolph indulged in a Cookie Explosion milkshake.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir, former welterweight champion Zab Judah and actress Joan Severance all dined at the new Meatball Spot (www.meatballspot.com) at Town Square last night.

Mir was accompanied by his wife, Jennifer, as they feasted on the eatery’s signature meatball dishes, including the Turkey Meatballs with Mushroom Gravy Sauce and ‘Roman Style’ pizzas.

Just tables away, Judah noshed on Meatball Spot’s Meatball Hero Sandwich, made with three Chicken Meatballs and Classic sauce. He also shared a Vegan pizza with seven of his closest friends before indulging in a Black and White milkshake.

Also seen at the restaurant was actress and model Joan Severance, who has appeared in Playboy Magazine. The star dined with friends as she indulged in the Classic Meatballs with Pesto sauce, the Arugula Salad and a bottle of Chalone Pinot Noir.

All were greeted by adoring fans while they enjoyed their meals at the new hot spot.
