Lukas Graham

Lukas Graham has rapidly become the breakout act of 2016. The Danish foursome, led by vocalist and songwriter Lukas Graham Forchhammer, are topping charts worldwide with single “7 Years” reaching #1 at both Top 40 and Hot AC radio, and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their self-titled debut album has received overwhelming critical acclaim since its April 1 release, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 and propelling the band further into the global spotlight with what the New York Times describes as “neatly turned songs that merge the lilt of pop-soul with the quick cadences of hip-hop.” Hailing from Christiania, an autonomous, artistic community in the center of Copenhagen, Lukas developed his natural talent for honest and gritty songwriting. Classically trained with the Copenhagen Boys’ Choir, with a musical scope widened by his Irish folk roots and passion for hip-hop, Lukas possesses a distinct, poetic ability to capture the full range of emotions in his music. Known for a phenomenal live show, Lukas Graham sold out his first ever U.S. headline tour and will continue to play festivals and sold out shows around the world in 2016 alongside bandmates Mark Falgren (drums), Magnús Larsson (bass), and Kasper Daugaard (keyboard).

The “2015 Billboard Music Awards” Returns to ABC Sunday, May 17th at 8pm ET Live From the MGM Grand Garden Arena

BRITNEY AND IGGY WILL PERFORM “PRETTY GIRLS” ON THE “2015 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS”

Billboard and dick clark productions announced today that music superstar Britney Spears will return to the global television stage for a must-see performance of her new single, “Pretty Girls” featuring Iggy Azalea on the “2015 Billboard Music Awards.”  The two singers join an already star-studded lineup of previously announced musical performers that includes Kelly Clarkson, Fall Out Boy featuring Wiz Khalifa, Hozier, Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and Meghan Trainor & John Legend.  This year’s show will be hosted by Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen and broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, on ABC from 8:00 PM–11:00 PM ET.

Fun performer facts include:

  • Six-time Billboard Music Award winner Britney Spears has charted six No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and five No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Among her hit singles are the No. 1 smashes “…Baby One More Time,” “Womanizer,” “3” and “Hold It Against Me.” She has sold 33.1 million albums in the United States, according to Nielsen Music.
  • In the past year, Iggy Azalea became the first act since The Beatles to chart at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their first two hits. Those songs — “Fancy,” and Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” featuring Azalea — were the first of six top 40 hits for the rapper, who later scored with tracks like “Black Widow” and “Beg for It.” When Azalea’s debut album The New Classic debuted on the Billboard 200 chart, it was the highest-charting rap album by a woman in nearly three years.  This year, Iggy is a finalist in 11 categories with 12 entries, competing against herself for Top Rap Song for her hits “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX and “Black Widow” featuring Rita Ora.

Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning pop icon Britney Spears is one of the most successful and celebrated entertainers in pop history, and makes her triumphant return to national television with this special performance.  In a little more than a decade, Spears sold nearly 100 million records worldwide, making her the fourth best-selling female artist ever in America. Born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana, Spears became a household name as a teenager when she released her first single “…Baby One More Time,” an international hit that broke sales records with more than 27 million copies sold worldwide and is currently 14x Platinum in the U.S.    Her musical career boasts nearly 100 million albums sold worldwide and countless awards and accolades, including the 2011 MTV Video Vanguard Award and Billboard’s Best-Selling Female Artist of the Decade (1998-2008). So far, Spears has earned a total of five No.1 debut albums and 24 Top 40 songs in her career. Spears has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards and won for Best Dance Recording in 2005.  Her cutting-edge pop concert Las Vegas residency, “Britney: Piece of Me,” at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has been voted “Best Show in Las Vegas” and “Best Bachelorette Show in Las Vegas.”  Spears also has been creating fragrances for over ten years, and recently added two new fragrances giving her a total of 15 fragrances available in 87 countries around the world.  She launched her sleepwear line, The Intimate Britney Spears Collection http://www.intimatebritneyspears.us/After years of honing her signature style on hip-hop’s underground circuit, Iggy Azalea burst onto the charts with her critically acclaimed debut album, The New Classic, and emerged as the breakout story of 2014, with one of the year’s most-streamed albums globally. Iggy is the first international female rapper to reach number one on both the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap Album Charts, and was nominated for four prestigious 2015 Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Fancy” featuring Charlie XCX. “Fancy” broke airplay records and made history as the longest-leading #1 by a female rapper, also making Iggy the first artist since The Beatles to rank at #1 and #2 simultaneously with their first two Hot 100 hits. “Fancy” stormed the charts this year sitting at #1 for seven consecutive weeks, is currently certified 4x times platinum, was named Billboard’s 2014 Song of the Summer, iTunes Best Song of 2014, the year’s most-streamed song on Spotify, and the most-watched music video on VEVO. Iggy was also featured on Ariana Grande’s certified 4x platinum Billboard Top 40 #1 smash, “Problem,” which won “Best Pop Video” at the 2014 MTV VMAs. Iggy’s single, “Black Widow,” featuring Rita Ora, has already gone double platinum and reached #1 on Billboard’s Top 40 Airplay Chart. Iggy has been nominated for six American Music Awards and won both 2014’s favorite Rap/Hip-Hop artist and favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album, nine MTV Video Music Awards, was Billboard’s Women in Music 2014 Chart Topper, and countless other awards and accolades. She has performed on the biggest stages on TV, including Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ellen and more.

In a special One Night Only event, Lopez performed all of her hits at the iconic Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The show, titled “The Best Is Yet To Come,” brought the international superstar to the stage at 10:30 p.m. and capped off with a ceremonial countdown to the New Year. Celebrity Filled, Interactive Event Space at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas

MADAME TUSSAUDS LAS VEGAS UNVEILS EXCITING, INTERACTIVE OFFERINGS FOR CORPORATE EVENT PLANNERS, SMALL GROUPS

MADAME TUSSAUDS LAS VEGAS

MADAME TUSSAUDS LAS VEGAS1

Interactive, entertaining and innovative! What else could an event planner ask for? Well, perhaps for Gwen Stefani, Sandra Bullock or Nick Fury to show up. At the all NEW Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, all this and more is possible for corporate event planners and small groups.

Special Events Manager Michael Tapia and his team do everything they can to create events that are memorable and most of all, world-famous fun. Tapia explains, “Interactive! That’s what guests love most about Madame Tussauds. They’re interacting with our more than 100 wax figures, mingling with live chefs as they cook and journey from one uniquely-themed room to another within the attraction. This is the liveliest place in Las Vegas for an event or party.”

At Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, there is more than 30,000 square feet of space available throughout eight themed-rooms, including the brand new Marvel Super Heroes 4D Experience,  which make for a fully immersive and entertainment event. Each room can hold approximately 120 guests reception-style or up to 75 seated. Beginning with Club Tussauds showcasing an array of stars including Leonardo DiCaprio and Britney Spears. Additional interactive rooms span sports (think slam dunking basketballs with Shaquille O’Neal) to television (sit at Larry King’s desk) to music (sing for Simon Cowell and rap with Tupac Shakur) to film (wreak havoc in the “Hangover” suite with Bradley Cooper) and celebrate Las Vegas like no other by visiting with city icons including Celine Dion, Blue Man Group and Criss Angel. The experience concludes with the Marvel Super Heroes 4D Experience and figures such as Nick Fury.

With all of these lavishly decorated and well-lit rooms, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas makes it easy for planners to create an event guests will never forget.

Adds Tapia, “There’s nothing we can’t do for our guests. Rove from one room to the next with different-themed food and drinks. Need an open bar? We absolutely can provide that. Our studio team can also customize a ‘back of house’ experience and incorporate how figures are created and maintained. We also welcome a variety of events including corporate team-building, brand launches and cocktail parties. Attendees can play video games in the sports rooms or go on scavenger hunts throughout the attraction with fun facts about the figures serving as clues. For more upscale events, experience everything from champagne chandeliers to live tables. It’s Las Vegas, after all, so themes can range from the classic Rat Pack to a trendy night club on the Strip.”

The event itself can feature its own branding. Particularly for buyouts, there are several screens which can display corporate logos, special messages and images. WiFi is also available to all groups no matter the size.

For departing guests, special gift bags can be created courtesy of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas’ incredible gift shop selling memorabilia and souvenirs. Guests can also receive Madame Tussauds’ branded champagne offered either in large bottles or as splits.

Madame Tussauds is open 365 days of the year and opens at 10 a.m. To book an event, contact Michael Tapia at (702) 862-7805 or Events@MadameTussaudsLV.com.

Named after the entertainment company’s flagship resort in Las Vegas, the “Caesars Palace Club” will create unique interactive experiences for fans at the Forum. Additionally, members of Caesars Entertainment’s loyalty program, Total Rewards, will have the opportunity to receive tickets to select Forum events. Elite Total Rewards members may also have the opportunity to receive behind-the-scenes experiences at select Forum shows. Additionally, Caesars Entertainment will occupy a space on the Forum’s terrace for pre-show activation initiatives where attendees can win prizes to be redeemed at Caesars Palace and other Caesars Entertainment resort experiences in Las Vegas. Caesars Entertainment will join the Forum’s presenting partner, Chase, in providing all fans of the Forum with unforgettable experiences.

“Caesars Entertainment has always led the way within our industry in presenting high-profile entertainment so we are thrilled to partner with the Forum to deliver additional extraordinary live entertainment experiences to our customers living on the west coast,” said Jason Gastwirth, Caesars Entertainment senior vice president of marketing and entertainment. “We are confident that the Forum will once again be the premier music and entertainment destination in Southern California and we look forward to being a part of the venue’s most memorable moments.”

Partnership with the Forum is an ideal match for Caesars Entertainment as it will allow the Las Vegas-based company to engage with a wide-array of Southern California-based entertainment seekers. Long considered a leader in live entertainment within the gaming hospitality industry, Caesars Entertainment boasts more than 40 entertainment venues nationwide including a significant footprint in Las Vegas with multiple stages and showrooms spread across the company’s nine Las Vegas resorts. An innovator in the industry, the company originated the concept of the modern Las Vegas headlining residency. Celine Dion helped to usher in this new era of entertainment with her debut at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2003. Since that time, The Colosseum has become home to some of the world’s most iconic entertainers and won multiple awards, including being named “Venue of the Decade: 2000-2009” by Billboard Magazine. In late 2013, the company once again ushered in a new era of entertainment in the famed resort city with the launch of Britney Spears’ “Britney: Piece of Me” at the newly renovated The AXIS theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The Forum underwent a reinvention that has created a thriving venue for both artists and music fans. New amenities include: a completely modernized Arena bowl with superior acoustics; approximately 8,000 square feet of new event level hospitality offerings; lavish new VIP clubs; a 40,000 square foot outdoor terrace; and seven star-caliber dressing rooms as well as a return to the venue’s original exterior color – now officially known as “Forum red.”

The “Fabulous” Forum reopens on January 15 with the first of six historic performances by the legendary Eagles. Additional dates include: January 17, 18, 22, 24 and 25. On January 20, Justin Timberlake’s highly anticipated “20/20 Experience World Tour” will come to the venue followed by Alejandra Guzmán on February 1, who will be the first Latin artist to perform at the newly reinvented venue. Imagine Dragons’ “Into the Night Tour” will come to the Forum on February 14, followed by “Paul Simon & Sting: On Stage Together” on February 15. TobyMac will bring his “Hits Deep Tour” to the venue on March 1 along with some of the biggest names in Christian music and Kings Of Leon will be performing at the Forum on March 21 in support on their 2014 Mechanical Bull Tour. Chelsea Handler will bring her “Uganda Be Kidding Me Live” tour to the venue on April 26 and Armin van Buuren’s “Armin Only: Intense” is scheduled for May 9.
