The Sophomore Record’s Multi-Week No. One “Die A Happy Man”
Marks Nielsen’s Most Streamed Song on 2016 Mid-Year List

As Thomas Rhett continues “pushing up against Country’s music boundaries” (Associated Press), his sophomore release TANGLED UP (The Valory Music Co.) follows the same path earning PLATINUM certification by the RIAA. On Saturday (8/20), before his set as direct support on Jason Aldean’s SIX STRING CIRCUS TOUR in Irvine, CA, Thomas Rhett was surprised backstage by his team and friends with news of the new benchmark.

“It’s crazy to think about all the fans who are taking this journey with me and are helping make things like this happen,” said Thomas Rhett. “I’ve had an amazing year already, but finding out that the album went Platinum is one of the coolest moments so far.”

“One of country’s perennial ‘next big things’” (Noisey) continues to earn applause for TANGLED UP, with its newest “ultimate party song,” (Ottawa Citizen) “Vacation.” The album has already produced three chart-toppers including the newly minted “T-Shirt,” the 2X PLATINUM six-week No. one and ACM award-winning “Die A Happy Man” as well as the PLATINUM “Crash And Burn.”

“Bold song selections, borrowing choice trimmings from around the musical universe and pushing the country-music needle even farther.” – Billboard

“So eclectic—it’s almost like a mixtape with [his] voice as the common thread.” – Parade

“Mixes the classic vibes of a throwback record with the range and excitement of new-school arrangements.” – Rolling Stone

“Impressive, confident ability to mix and mingle with different genres on his sophomore release” – Yahoo!

“Carving a new niche – one that relies on musicianship and strong lyrics.” – Sioux City Journal

Thomas Rhett sparks “an ushering in of Country’s future” (Rolling Stone), as he dominates the Nielsen 2016 Mid-Year List with TANGLED UP, landing in the Top 5 Country albums, while “Die A Happy Man” was the most streamed song overall with more than 80 million streams. Proving he’s a “package deal” (CBS This Morning), Thomas Rhett continues on the road with sold-out headlining shows. For a full list of upcoming tour dates and appearances, visit

ABOUT: Crafted in the warm pub style of 19th century Ireland, Rí Rá Las Vegas is located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.  The authentic Irish pub features a multitude of artifacts that were carefully restored in Wicklow, Ireland and shipped to their new home in Las Vegas.  Rí Rá Las Vegas contains an authentic Victorian Shop bar that began its life in Ireland in the 1880s, a whiskey bar adorned with an original glazed jewelry cabinet from 1900, an oak floor from a whiskey distillery and an 8-foot-tall, 500-pound carved plaster statue of St. Patrick dating back to 1850.  The pub hosts live entertainment seven nights a week in a music room constructed with artifacts dating back to 1890 from the Olympia Theater in Dublin, Ireland. Born and raised in Dublin, Rí Rá Las Vegas owners David Kelly and Ciaran Sheehan have been close friends since they were 14-years-old. Kelly and Sheehan later partnered with Jay Luther, whom Kelly met while working for Guinness. Rí Rá Las Vegas is the 12th pub the trio has opened in the U.S.
