Rí Rá Las Vegas to Offer Special Thanksgiving Menu

Rí Rá Las Vegas, authentic Irish pub located inside the Shoppes at Mandalay Place, will celebrate Thanksgiving by offering a specialty menu of traditional harvest fare, available on Thursday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. until close.

 

The Thanksgiving menu includes a variety of options for guests to choose from including a 14-ounce Prime Rib ($30), served with garlic green beans, mashed potatoes, charred cherry tomatoes and Guinness Au Jus; the Turkey Dinner ($26), herb-roasted turkey served with gravy, sage stuffing, smashed Yukon potatoes, green bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce and a dinner roll; or the Maple Glazed Pork Loin ($22), glazed pork with an apple bread pudding and sautéed asparagus.

For dessert, Rí Rá offers a Gingerbread Brownie ($11) served with homemade pumpkin ice cream and vanilla bean sauce.

Ri Ra Las Vegas will donate 20 percent of proceeds from Ri Ra’s Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day specialty menu to raise critical funds for HELP of Southern Nevada

 

 

Rí Rá Las Vegas will host a week-long celebration in honor of Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, Sept 10 through Tuesday, Sept. 17. During the week-long celebration, guests will enjoy authentic Irish dishes located on a specially crafted menu with 20 percent of proceeds benefiting HELP of Southern Nevada.

 

The main attraction of the week-long celebration will take place with a true Irish party on the official Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day mark, on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The evening will be filled with live entertainment starting at 9 p.m., $6 Guinness pints available from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., must-have giveaways and more.

 

The Authentic Irish inspired menu includes guests’ favorite Battered Sausages ($10), Irish Steak Sandwich ($15), Chicken Kiev ($22), Shrimp Spice Box ($24) and a delicious desert option, Strawberry Rhubarb Tart ($10).

 

HELP of Southern Nevada offers assistance to low-income families, homeless teens and adults among other individuals, to become more self-sufficient through direct services, trainings and referrals. NEW: Easter Menu – Sunday, April 21

Ri Ra Las Vegas hosts a special Easter menu on Sunday, April 21. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy traditional favorites with an Irish twist including Honey Orange Whiskey Glazed Ham ($22); Salmon Boxty ($23); Rosemary and Minted Roasted Leg of Lamb ($24); and Prime Rib Carvery ($30). In addition, Ri Ra will offer a mouthwatering Whiskey Caramel Bread Pudding ($10) with vanilla cinnamon bread pudding topped with a homemade whiskey sauce and whipped cream.

 

NEW: Cinco de Mayo Weekend Specials

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo like the Irish at Rí Rá Las Vegas by indulging in the pub’s specialty menu featuring highlights such as Corned Beef Quesadilla ($10), house brined corned beef with a blend of cheddar and jack cheese served with homemade Pico de Gallo and sour cream; Fish Tacos ($14), two traditional beer battered fish served in a corn tortilla with shredded cabbage and house jalapeno sauce; Irish Nachos ($15), potato chips loaded with spicy ground lamb and beef with refried white beans, cheddar and jack cheeses, sour cream, Pico de Gallo and guacamole; or Chicken Enchiladas ($16), pulled chicken, rolled up in corn tortillas, topped with enchilada sauce and melted cheddar and jack cheeses, served with refried beans, rice, Pico de Gallo and creamy sour cream. Mother’s Day Specialty Brunch Menu – Sunday, May 12

Rí Rá Las Vegas honors mothers with a specialty menu on Sunday, May 12. The specialty menu offers dishes such as Smoked Salmon Blini ($12), smoked salmon served on top of a boxty with lemon aioli and pickled red onion; Pan Roasted Chicken ($22) featuring a French-cut pan seared and roasted chicken breast topped with a  sundried tomato and garlic cream sauce and a side of roasted fingerling potatoes tossed with baby spinach and cherry tomatoes; or Seared Halibut ($24) pan seared and dusted with herbs, and served with parmesan risotto and sautéed asparagus with a  balsamic glaze.  Guests looking for something sweet can indulge in the pub’s homemade Whiskey Caramel Bread Pudding** ($10), warmed cinnamon bread pudding, covered in a house whiskey caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream.

 

**Due to preparation time, Ri Ra recommends ordering dessert in advance. Mother’s Day menu will only be available while supplies last.

 

March Mayhem Viewing Parties

Rí Rá Las Vegas will be showing each game on screens throughout the pub during March Mayhem through Monday, April 8. While watching the best athletes in college basketball battle for the champion title, fans can sip on a wide range of imported and domestic beers and other spirits that pair perfectly with the pub’s Irish menu offerings.

Rí Rá Las Vegas celebrates Father’s Day the Irish way with a $5 Guinness draft special and an unparalleled selection of Irish favorites with a twist on Sunday, June 18. Guests can choose from dishes such as:

  • Appetizers: Irish Potato and Leek Soup (cup $3.95 / bowl $4.95) and the soup of the day (cup $3.95/ bowl $4.95).
  • Entrées: Crab Cake Duo ($14), lightly breaded crab with Old Bay seasoned panko crumbs and herbs, topped with Colman’s mustard cream, cherry tomatoes and spring micro greens; BBQ Pork Belly Meatloaf ($19), pork belly and Irish cheddar stuffed meatloaf, glazed with a house Guinness BBQ sauce and topped with beer battered onion rings and a side of herb roasted red potatoes and lemon buttered asparagus; Slow Braised Leg of Lamb ($23), lamb braised for 10 hours in beer and onions,  smothered with a sage demi-glace and served with a side of champ potatoes and sautéed sugar snap peas; and King Cut Prime Rib ($24), served with garlic and herb green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy and a Guinness au jus.

  • Entrées: Specialty entrées include: Monk Fish Filet ($25.95), pan seared Monk fish with a roasted root vegetable medley and drizzled with lemon caper butter sauce; Beef Wellington ($32.95), beef tenderloin, wrapped in mushroom duxelle and a golden baked puff pastry, topped with house steak sauce and a side of creamy pub mash and garlic green beans; and Surf and Turf ($34.95), grilled New York strip steak topped with a shrimp skewer and served with beet infused horseradish cream, roasted fingerlings and asparagus.

Don Vito’s will serve a three-course menu with a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine, available for $39 per person, including:

  • First Course: Porcini Mushroom Risotto or Beet Salad, arugula and goat cheese served with orange vinaigrette; or Italian Sausage and Bean Soup.
  • Second Course: Lobster Fettuccine, served with a light, creamy lobster sauce, tossed with lobster and finished with a drizzle of crème fraiche; Cupid’s Chicken, stuffed with wild mushrooms and mascarpone cheese, wrapped in parma ham and sautéed with kale and lyonnaise potatoes; or Braised Veal Bourgogne, served with bacon and pearl onions in a rich red wine sauce over pappardelle pasta.
  • Third Course: S’mores Chocolate Cake, flourless chocolate cake, dark chocolate ganache, graham cracker crumbles, toasted marshmallow and caramel; or Vanilla Mousse served with chocolate dipped strawberries. Includes coffee or tea.

In honor of International Beer Day, Rí Rá Las Vegas will hold its annual #RiRaBeerDay celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5. During the event, attendees will enjoy a free pint of Guinness® and complimentary appetizers. Additionally, the first 15 guests to arrive at the party will receive a free beer flight. Raffle prizes will also be featured throughout the evening, including a $50 gift card to the pub.

The Black Donnellys is a traditional / folk rock band consisting of Dave Browne and Dave Rooney. Browne, who is also a Guinness World Record holder for marathon guitar playing, plays mandolin and guitar, while Rooney, who is known for his unique voice, sings lead vocals. The band performs a fun selection of folk and traditional Irish songs that provide an entertaining introduction to the historical origins of Irish music. In October 2014, the band contributed to Rí Rá’s Guinness World Record for longest concert by multiple artists.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation Head-Shaving Fundraiser March 12

Rí Rá Las Vegas hosts its fifth annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation  signature head-shaving event on Saturday, March 12 to raise money for the national organization funding research to find cures for all childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.

 

Starting at noon, registered attendees will shed their locks to support the fight against childhood cancers. Those looking to make a bald statement can register online (www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/7982/2016) or on-site the day of the event. Once registered, volunteers will raise funds for St. Baldrick’s by soliciting donations from friends, family and anyone interested in contributing to the cause.

 

On Saturday, March 12, those who have signed up for the St. Baldrick’s event will go bald at the pub. Throughout the day, local barbers will volunteer their time to give the haircuts. Those wishing to keep their hair can donate funds online or at the pub.

 

Over the last four years, Rí Rá has raised more than $76,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and lifesaving childhood cancer research.

Now available, Rí Rá Las Vegas introduces a traditional afternoon tea menu featuring a variety of leaf teas, finger sandwiches, homemade scones and decadent desserts.

 

Every day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests can enjoy a tea of their choice with a selection of afternoon treats. Priced at $22 per person, afternoon tea includes six finger sandwiches, two fruit scones, four desserts and a pot of tea for two. Dating back to the 1800s, afternoon tea has become a popular social event among Europeans. Traditionally served from 4 to 6 p.m., the afternoon meal features tiers of miniature crustless sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, curd, sweets and heaps of tea.

 

Rí Rá will serve of a variety of finger sandwiches, including egg mayonnaise, ham and tomato and Irish cheddar and Ballymaloe Relish. Guests may also pair their tea with freshly baked homemade fruit scones, served with fresh cream and raspberry or strawberry Irish preserve, as well as miniature desserts such as napoleons, raspberry roulade, fruit tartlets and chocolate-dipped macaroons. The pub’s range of leaf teas include:

Born and raised in Dublin, Rí Rá Las Vegas owners David Kelly and Ciaran Sheehan have been close friends since they were 14-years-old. Kelly and Sheehan later partnered with Jay Luther, whom Kelly met while working for Guinness. Rí Rá Las Vegas is one of nine pubs the trio has opened in the U.S.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fundraiser
March 7 at 1 p.m.
The pub will host its fourth annual St. Baldrick’s signature head-shaving event on Saturday, March 7 to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Starting at 1 p.m., registered attendees will shed their locks to support the fight against childhood cancer. Those looking to make a bald statement can register online to shave at Rí Rá or to donate time or money to the cause. Once registered, volunteers will raise funds for St. Baldrick’s by soliciting donations from friends, family and anyone willing to spare some change.

St. Patrick’s Day Festival
March 14 – March 17
Rí Rá invites guests to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the Irish way during its four-day festival inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. The St. Patrick’s Day festivities will feature live music, giveaways, Irish dancers, an Irish bagpiper and authentic Irish cuisine. The celebration will kick off with live music at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.

Valentine’s Day Special
On Saturday, Feb. 14, the pub will feature a special Valentine’s Day menu complete with Bacon Wrapped Dates ($10.95), Lemon Chicken with Saffron Rice ($24.95), Crab Stuffed Filet ($32.95), Prime Rib Carvery ($27.95) and Raspberry Fool ($6.95).

 

Mammoth Music Jam Fundraiser benefitting Paul “Jnr” Walsh
Feb. 20 at 8 p.m.  – Feb. 22 at 1:30 a.m.
The pub will host a fundraiser for beloved bartender Paul “Jnr” Walsh, who suffered from cardiac arrest this past December. All funds raised during the event will directly help pay for nearly $100,000 in hospital bills. The fundraiser will be lead by The Black Donnellys, a folk band consisting of Guinness World Record holders Dave Browne and Dave Rooney, and will feature performances by local artists throughout the weekend. During the fundraiser, the pub will raise money for Jnr through raffles and collection buckets. Additionally, Rí Rá will announce a donation during the event while working staff members will donate all their tips to the cause as well.

Rí Rá Las Vegas invites guests to kick off their New Year’s Eve celebration early by toasting to the arrival of the Irish New Year at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31.

 

At 4 p.m. Rí Rá will lead guests in a pub-wide celebratory toast as Ireland enters 2015. At 8:45 p.m., The Black Donnellys will keep the party rocking when they kick off their live performance. In addition to ringing in the Irish New Year, the pub will make a second toast at midnight to commemorate the Las Vegas New Year.

 

During the party, Rí Rá will feature special menu items, including Lamb Lollipops ($11.95), Pork Belly Encrusted Halibut ($27.95), Surf and Turf ($29.95), Prime Rib Carvery ($24.95 – $26.95) and Champagne Sorbet ($6.95) for dessert. Guests may also enjoy the pub’s Whiskey Tour of Ireland ($16), a specialty tasting of four half-ounce servings of fine whiskeys including Jameson Whiskey, Bushmills Whiskey, Redbreast and Michael Collins. The pub’s New Year’s Eve party is free and open to the public.
