Sheena Easton

Sheena Easton, the Scottish-born pop diva who rose to prominence in the 1980s, will perform at the Suncoast Showroom March 5-6.

Easton scored a record deal with British music company EMI Group Limited after appearing on the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reality series “The Big Time” in 1980. The appearance also boosted her debut singles “Modern Girl” and “Morning Train (Nine to Five)” into the top 10 on the United Kingdom charts. In addition to her success on the charts, Easton has toured all around the world, including Canada, China, Thailand, Singapore and Japan.
