B&B BURGER & BEER
Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich’s B&B Burger and Beer at The Venetian has launched its spring burger, the lamb burger. Served on a potato bun, this all-new burger features lamb topped with spicy goat cheese, apricot mustard jam, and grilled frisée, priced at $17.
GRIMALDI’S PIZZERIA
In honor of spring, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria at The Palazzo will bring back its fan favorite, the barbecue chicken pizza. Featuring the perfect spin on all cherished BBQ must haves, this pizza presents a blend of Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, chicken, smoky bacon, red onion, and is garnished with fresh cilantro. Since no BBQ is complete without beer, guests are invited to pair this delectable pizza with a Samuel Adams Boston Lager for the ultimate Grimaldi’s BBQ experience. This special pizza will be available April 4 through May 31. In addition, Grimaldi’s will offer its Reese’s Peanut Butter cheesecake and caramel coconut cheesecake through the month of April.
LAGASSE’S STADIUM
Chef Emeril Lagasse’s sports bar, Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo, adds another accolade to the collection, winning the prestigious 2016 Sports Bar of the Year award at the Nightclub & Bar Awards. The trophy was presented to Mike Olsen, director of operations at Emeril Lagasse and Gerardo Rodriguez, general manager at Lagasse’s Stadium.
The industry’s premier program, The Nightclub & Bar Awards recognizes excellence in bar, nightclub, lounge concept development, operations, promotion, innovation and success.

OTTO Enoteca e Pizzeria
Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich’s OTTO Enoteca e Pizzeria at The Venetian is now serving its signature dish for spring: asparagus pizza. OTTO features a new pizza every season in order to showcase the season’s freshest, most flavorful ingredients. The spring dish incorporates house made pizza dough and Buffalo mozzarella, topped with grilled asparagus, mint and preserved lemon zest. The price is $20. The asparagus pizza will be available until mid-May.
RIVA AND SOLARO
When pool season returns to Las Vegas, it can only mean one thing — Riva and Solaro, the poolside restaurants of The Venetian and The Palazzo, spring to life with Wolfgang Puck’s exclusive take on poolside cuisine. The menu features breakfast and lunch cuisine (please see full menu at the end of this release).
ROCKHOUSE
Rockhouse Las Vegasat The Venetian features live music during their Sunday Rock Brunch from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., as well as nighttime entertainment every night of the week, including live bands, Rockstar Karaoke and live DJs.
SUSHISAMBA
Executive Pastry Chef Michael Outlaw of SUSHISAMBA at The Palazzo has launched a lineup of new desserts that will have every guest, sweet tooth or not, saving room. Highlights include:
  • Tapioca con leche (coconut-infused tapioca, citrus crèmeux, caramelized miso brioche and pineapple confit)
  • Peruvian chocolate ganache (candied peanuts, cusqueña caramel, peanut crema, chocolate crumb and roasted peanut ice cream)
  • Soya pasión (soy ‘cloud’, graham crumbs, strawberry gelée and mango passion sorbet).

MARCH 29:
MARIO BATALI FOUNDATION TO OPEN LAS VEGAS LIBRARY FOR AT-RISK CHILDREN
On Tuesday, March 29 at 9 a.m., Mario Batali will open the new Books for Kids Library at the Acelero Spring Valley Learning Center. This new library marks the third Southern Nevada library that has been funded by the Mario Batali Foundation and the 11th library nationwide.
The 161 square-foot library will hold nearly 1,000 books, many bilingual, offering a range of excellent reading material for children from 2 to 12 years old.
The opening dedication ceremony will take place at the Acelero Spring Valley Learning Center located at 2845 Mohawk Street, Las Vegas, Nevada 89146. The ceremony will include a ribbon cutting for the library, a book reading by Batali of Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham, as well as remarks from the Mario Batali Foundation; Books for Kids; Variety Early Learning Center and a special thank you from the children.

Bubble-licous, the ultimate event of champagne under the stars, returns to The Venetian on Thursday, April 14 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. This year’s festivities will once again feature a variety of champagnes, sparkling wines and a tasting menu from The Venetian and Palazzo’s outstanding collection of restaurants, all artfully staged in the resort’s scenic Doge’s Palace Piaza.
