Epic electronic dance music events will shake up downtown starting Jan. 8

Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) will heat up in January with a host of jam-packed EDM events as part of its anticipated “Winter Wonderland” Pop-Up Series. From Las Vegas favorite Chris Garcia to superstar DJ Pauly D, electronic dance sounds will be heard from a lineup of prominent DJ’s in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas.

The events are open to ages 18 and over (must present a valid photo ID) and bar access will be open to ages 21 and over. Tickets are priced at $20 and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or at DLVEC’s box office.

January 8 – Chris Garcia and DJ Stellar

DLVEC will kick-off the party series with S.K.A.M. artists Chris Garcia and DJ Stellar. Voted “Resident DJ of the Year,” Chris Garcia has risen to the top of the EDM radar with notable residencies including Playhouse Los Angeles, TAO Las Vegas and some of the biggest music festivals in the world.

In addition, Los Angeles native DJ Stellar has played alongside the DJ elite and holds residencies in Las Vegas’ most established clubs such as LIGHT Las Vegas. Since moving from Los Angeles to Sin City six years ago, he has created a “Stellar” brand that has dispersed throughout the country.

January 9 – EC Twins

Known for their unique and infectious live shows, the EC Twins have been credited as two of the most influential figures in EDM. With residencies in cities from New York to Los Angeles, the British pair have created a long list of notable accomplishments such as celebrity guests on VH-1’s “Master of the Mix”  and chart-topping hits on SIRIUS XM DANCE MUSIC.

January 15 – WeareTreo and Duelle

Surfers by day, DJ’s by night – the entrance of the DJ group WeAreTreo began with a love for surfing mixed with the late night club scene. The Southern California group has become a stand-out DJ / producer collective rooted in curating good times. With residencies at world renowned night clubs such as Marquee Las Vegas and OMNIA San Diego, they are quickly taking over the nightlife party scene.

Duelle, an up-and-coming DJ duo, is made up of two sisters based in Los Angeles and Florida and have been dubbed the #trapqueens of the house music world. They are known for their energetic vocals and racy rap lyrics, along with flawless mixing to create an unforgettable party.

January 16 – GEIST

GEIST, a trio of anonymous DJs dedicated to shifting the focus of individual recognition to their music and community, have managed to grow a worldwide fan base in only one year. With an underground club feel and a mainstream pop twist, they have amassed a catalogue of 10 tracks with one million plays in 2015 alone.

January 22 – Paris Blohm

Paris Blohm has taken the dance music world by storm, flooding the internet with both free and label releases, garnering the attention of the scene’s biggest blogs and websites and gaining support from super DJ’s like Tiësto and Hardwell. With several exciting collaborations slated for the coming months and a rapidly expanding fan base, all eyes are on Paris and he’s just getting started.

January 23 – DJ Pauly D

Drai’s After Hours Las Vegas Returns Home to the Cromwell for EDC Weekend

Drai’s partners with Insomniac/EDC as Official After Hours Venue
Featuring Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber,
The Martinez Brothers, Chris Garcia and Erik Hagleton

A legend returns home, as Victor Drai’s famed After Hours heads back to its original underground space now set inside the new Cromwell, the Strip’s only stand-alone boutique hotel property.  The re-grand-opening of Drai’s After Hours will be on June 19 in conjunction with Insomniac/EDC as the Official After Hours venue for the global phenomenon.

Drai’s After Hours was a pioneer 15 years ago when it first opened its doors underneath the bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, and the famed venue will again transform the late night/early morning scene in its original space now located within The Cromwell. Having built a reputation for being the first to bring House music to the Strip, Drai’s After Hours kicks-off the return to its underground home with an opening line-up featuring the most exciting string of underground techno performances of EDC weekend. The artist line-up includes:
• Thursday, June 19th – Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, & Kill Frenzy
• Friday, June 20th – Dubfire & Nicole Moudaber
• Saturday, June 21st – The Martinez Brothers
• Sunday, June 22nd – Chris Garcia & Erik Hagleton

“There is nowhere else in the world than Las Vegas where we could create venues where our guests can party with us for nearly all 24 hours of the day,” explains Victor Drai.  “When I first opened After Hours 15 years ago, I wasn’t even sure if it would be a success…the concept was so new and untried.  Now here I am re-opening the club with a great week of artists and music at The Cromwell, the most beautiful new hotel on the Strip.”
Having recently transformed the nightclub scene 11 stories above the Strip with the opening of his newest creation, Drai’s Beach Club • Nightclub, Victor Drai will now uniquely be able to entertain guests around the clock:

• 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Drai’s Beach Club
• 10:00 p.m. – 5: 00 a.m. – Drai’s Nightclub
• Midnight – 8:00 a.m. – Drai’s After Hours

At over 13,000 square feet, After Hours features two new bars, and four rooms showcasing two different music formats.  Adorned with over-the-top opulence of black and gold décor, the ambience and style reflects the style of a vintage mansion.  Accents include pin-up photography, animal print embossed booths and palm trees, while the 55 bottle service tables encourage intimate social lounging throughout. While the new After Hours has been re-designed and updated, Victor Drai has kept to his promise to leave most of the venue in-tact.  “It is just too loved by our guests to make dramatic changes,” he explains.  “We have made it even better, but it’s still the After Hours that everyone will remember.”

Drai’s After Hours is open Thursday thru Sunday from Midnight to 8:00 a.m. For more information visit: www.draislv.com/after_hours on Facebook at www.facebook.com/draisafter_hours and on Twitter at www.twitter.com/draisafterhours.  For reservations contact: 702-737-0555.
