ABOUT THE USED: The Used emerged flipping two middle fingers at what passed for the rock n’ roll status quo while snatching platinum, gold and silver certifications in North America, Europe and Australia and kicking open the doors of MTV and the Top 10.

The Used’s reputation as innovative torchbearers and post-hardcore pioneers in the aggressive but emotionally melodic heavy music scene speaks for itself. The Used (2002), In Love and Death (2004) and Lies for the Liars (2007) boast empowering anthems that endure in the hearts and minds of fans across the globe. The band’s influence stretches across Active Rock and Alternative Rock radio, the subcultural artistic acolytes who populate the various stages of the Vans Warped Tour and the groups covered by publications like Kerrang!, Rocksound and Alternative Press.

Like every record from The Used, their new album Imaginary Enemy is a diverse affair, filled with extremely heavy songs, fast upbeat tracks and more beautiful, peaceful material. The group struck a balance between the raw, quickly recorded intensity of last summer’s self-produced The Ocean of the Sky EP and the sound of the band’s first three albums. The Used returned to Feldman with 20 new songs, plus 30 leftover ideas from the Vulnerable and EP writing sessions.

The visceral, raw performances on Imaginary Enemy are akin to what The Used have always done live, whether back in the day on Ozzfest, Warped, Projekt Revolution or Taste Of Chaos, at major festivals, or the 2012 charity sponsored tour which raised funds for the It Gets Better Project. The big hooks found throughout the songs will energize longtime fans and new believers alike. The dark undertone prevalent in their classic songs is still there, but it’s all infused with a motivational positivity designed to both destroy and rebuild.

ABOUT BROOKLYN BOWL:

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is the brand’s third location. With three levels spanning over 80,000 square feet, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is one of the largest performance venues in America and is described by People Magazine as being “on the fast path to being Vegas’über cool place.” Located inside The LINQ, the open-air district in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the multi-dimensional space boasts 32 lanes of bowling, five on-site bars and rockin’ comfort food by the world-renowned Bromberg Brothers’ Blue Ribbon Restaurants, including their iconic Fried Chicken celebrated on Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.” On any given night, more than 2,000 concertgoers can enjoy live music programming from the general admission area, the luxurious bowlers’ lounges adjacent to the lanes, or the private lounge boxes overlooking it all. Since opening in March 2014, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas has seen notable performances by Elvis Costello & The Roots, Jane’s Addiction, Phil Lesh & Friends, Primus, O.A.R. and Steve Winwood.

The original location opened in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn in 2009 in the former Hecla Iron Works building (built in 1882) and was the first L.E.E.D. certified bowling alley in the world. Brooklyn Bowl New York has hosted countless notable performances, including shows by Kanye West, Adele, Paul Simon, Moby and Guns N’Roses and has been named Zagat’s “Best Music Venue – New York City” for three consecutive years (as well as “Best Bowling Alley” and “Best Brooklyn Venue”) and one of the best clubs in America by Rolling Stone.  Eater described their menu as “epic,” while The New Yorker hailed the club’s unprecedented combination of top-flight music, beer, bowling, and food as “like nailing a spare on a four-ten split.” The second Brooklyn Bowl location opened in January 2014 at the O2 in London, and was hailed by the London Evening Standard as a “…wonderland of food, drink, music and pins”.

ABOUT THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA:
The Devil Wears Prada got their first touch of success with the release of With Roots Above and Branches Below in 2009, debuting at #11 on the Billboard Top 200 chart which paved the way for a series of events leading to a huge break-out year. That same year they were voted Band of the Year by the readers of Alternative Press and went on to appear on the covers of AltPress, Revolver, Outburn, HM and AMP. In 2010, they received a Golden God Award nomination, and released their first-ever EP, the conceptual Zombie EP, giving them their first Top Ten chart debut and rave reviews. Twenty-eleven proved to be a watershed year for the band with a Main Stage slot on last summer’s “Vans Warped Tour.”

The band followed that with its first headline tour of Australia and the release of the critically-acclaimed album Dead Throne (2011), which debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. The Devil Wears Prada kicks off 2012 with the Dead Throne Tour: United States 2012 on March 9 in Bloomington, IL. Their 18-stop trek will feature support from Every Time I Die, Letlive and Oh Sleeper; and will immediately follow the band’s February headline slot on the “Vans Off the Wall Music Tour” in the UK.
