Nevada’s Big Give:
The second statewide online giving initiative, Nevada’s Big Give, will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Nevada’s Big Give is a day of online giving that benefits charities across the state. This initiative, launched by NevadaGIVES, is a unique, high-visibility promotion of personal giving designed to bring new donors and dollars to nonprofit organizations throughout the state.

Unlike any other philanthropic event, Nevada’s Big Give is an opportunity to benefit all Nevada nonprofits by activating donations online. It’s as simple as: Point. Click. Give. Every registered 501(c)(3) organization in Nevada is eligible to participate and receive donations on April 25th through the website www.NVBigGive.org. Charities that participated last year will automatically be signed up. After more than $400,000 was raised in the first year of the event, the goal this year is to raise double that in one 24-hour period for nonprofits across the state by encouraging Nevadans to give where they live.
