Poison – Original Lineup to Rock The Pearl Sept. 4

Original Lineup Set to Rock the Pearl at Palms Casino Resort

Friday, Sept. 4 at 9 p.m.

Tickets on sale – Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m.

Poison brings its original lineup (Bret Michaels C.C. DeVille Bobby Dall, and Rikki Rockett) to the intimate Pearl Theater inside Palms Casino Resort on Friday, Sept. 4 at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $59.95, plus applicable fees.

In its all original lineup, Poison has kept it rocking, real and relevant, bringing their own style, unbelievable live energy and hit songs to the big stage. Relentless from the ground up and forged in the hell fires of the Pennsylvania and Los Angeles club scenes, they smashed their way up as an independent band who bet on themselves. Bringing a ‘one part song, one part party’ and no holds barred, full throttle energy to their live stage performance, Poison paid its dues in the small bars and night clubs of the upper east coast.

By betting on themselves, Poison ended up forming their own record label Cyanide Music along with an independent distributor in Enigma records. The band broke the gates wide-open with their first album release Look What The Cat Dragged In. Selling more than 3 million copies of the independent album, which included the big hits “Talk Dirty To Me,” “I Won’t Forget You,” “Cry Tough,” “I Want Action,” and the underground smash “Look What The Cat Dragged In,” they were soon picked up by Capitol Records and beat the sophomore jinx by releasing the No. 1 smash “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn.” Written by singer/songwriter and frontman Bret Michaels, the song would remain atop the pop, rock and country charts for three months consecutively.

Also from that sophomore album, Open Up and Say…Ahh!, which sold 8 million copies out of the gate, hit singles “Fallen Angel,” “Nothin’ But A Good Time,” and “Your Mama Don’t Dance.” The multi-platinum album Flesh & Blood followed, lighting up the charts again with several more smash hit singles including “Unskinny Bop, “Something To Believe In,” and more. Countless Poison albums and BMB (Bret Michaels Band) solo releases followed, growing the group’s fan base worldwide.

As a lifelong Type 1 juvenile diabetic, Michaels was awarded the Humanitarian Of The Year award in 2019 for his philanthropic work. Michaels also continues to celebrate our veterans and first responders on-stage nightly.

Tickets for Poison are $59.95, $69.95, $89.95, $169.95 and $329.95 (front row), plus applicable fees and go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. Doors open at 8 p.m. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Bret Michaels brings Unbroken World Tour to Red Rock Resort with special guest Jack Russell’s Great White

Bret Michaels brings Unbroken World Tour with special guest Jack Russell’s Great White to Red Rock Resort

Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 7 p.m.

Tickets on sale – Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10 a.m.

Rock legend Bret Michaels is bringing his Unbroken World Tour with special guest Jack Russell’s Great White to Las Vegas for a special performance at the Sandbar Stage at Red Rock Resort on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 7 p.m. Located poolside at Red Rock Resort, the Sandbar poolside stage is the perfect destination for a concert experience under the stars. Tickets start at $25 plus tax and applicable fees and go on sale Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m.

As a rock star, reality star, spokesperson, businessman, and philanthropist, Bret Michaels does more jobs in a single day than most people do in an entire lifetime. Depending on the hour of the day, he’s a cultural icon, a rock god, an entrepreneur, a TV star, a father, the face of the American Diabetes Association, a supercross enthusiast, solo artist, Poison front man, and a generous donor to a myriad of charitable causes. Michaels first rose to fame as the front man of Poison. As one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands, Poison defined the fast, gritty, and glamorous rock ‘n roll scene. Since the band’s beginning, Poison has achieved massive success- releasing eight studio albums, four live albums, and selling more than 30 million records worldwide and 16.5 million records in the U.S. alone. The band has charted 10 singles in the Top 40 on Billboard’s Hot 100 including the number-one single, “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn.” Twenty-five years after their debut, Poison is still recording music and performing together.

Bret Michaels’ solo career has been equally successful with his hit solo album Custom Built, which was released in July of 2010 and topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock list. Michaels continues to stretch himself and challenge himself to take on new projects in music, business, and beyond. He recently partnered with legendary guitar company, Dean Guitars, to design his first ever signature Bret Michaels series. Michaels calls Dean Guitars “the only guitars that can keep up with me, holding up tour after tour.”

Jack Russell’s Great White represents the next phase of a legacy. Rather than look backwards and merely attempt to relive the multi-platinum hard rock entity’s storied origins, Jack Russell set his sights on the future. In December 2011, Jack Russell’s Great White first bared its teeth. Since its inception, the front man welcomed back longtime bassist and friend Tony Montana—this time as a guitar player and keyboardist—lead guitarist Robby Lochner, and drummer Dicki Fliszar.  In 1984, the band broke out of the Los Angeles scene with its self-titled debut followed by seismic platinum-selling outings such as 1987’s Once Bitten and 1989’s Twice Shy. Moving more than eight million copies worldwide, they stood out as tried-and-true rock stalwarts into the 21st century until 2011, when Russell went on to form Jack Russell’s Great White.

Tickets for the Bret Michaels’ Unbroken World Tour with special guest Jack Russell’s Great White are $25 plus tax and applicable fees for general admission and $50 plus tax and applicable fees for VIP standing room only. All tickets go on sale Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10 a.m. Guests under 21 years must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. Tickets can be purchased at any Station Casinos Reward Center and The Fiestas, by logging onto www.stationcasinoslive.com or through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com. For exclusive ticket pre-sale information connect with Red Rock Resort on Twitter @RedRockCasino and Facebook.

Bell Biv DeVoe to Perform at Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, January 27

Bell Biv DeVoe to Perform at  Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, January 27

SWV, Whodini and EPMD to Join the Music Legends; Tickets on Sale Now

Bell Biv DeVoe will bring its smooth sounds to the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, Jan. 27. The legendary group has been bridging the gap between R&B and hip-hop music for more than 20 years and will perform alongside SWV, Whodini and EPMD. The show will be hosted by DJ Biz Markie and feature a special performance by Dana Dane. It is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the concert start at $39 (not including applicable services charges) and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased online through axs.com or in person at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Box Office.

Bell Biv DeVoe is a direct result of the hugely successful vocal quintet New Edition. Merging the irresistible sounds of hip-hop beats, New Jack Swing and R&B harmonies, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe started fresh with a more street-oriented approach to contemporary R&B. The result was the group’s explosive debut album Poison, which sold more than 4 million copies.

With its 1992 debut “It’s About Time,” SWV has scored a string of Top 10 R&B hits that have established the group as one of the most popular R&B groups of the ‘90s. The group’s name is an acronym for “sisters with voices” and include three school friends Coko, Taj and Lelee.

Coming out of the early ‘80s New York rap scene, Whodini was one of the first rap groups to add a straight R&B twist to its music. This laid the groundwork for the New Jack Swing movement. The group features rappers Jalil Hutchins, John “Ecstasy” Fletcher and legendary DJ Drew “Grandmaster Dee” Carter.

EPMD, the duo of Erik Sermon and Parrish Smit, was among the best in hip-hop’s underground scene during the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.  They had a feel for a good groove, and created numerous hip-hop classics including “It’s My Thing,” “You Gots to Chill,” “Get the Bozack,” “Strictly Business” and “Rampage.”
