What better way to kick off the weekend than with impromptu performances by multi award-winning artists Usher and Chris Brown? Well, that’s exactly how XS nightclub did it. The two artists showed up at the Wynn Las Vegas hotspot to celebrate rapper Jermaine Dupri’s birthday on Friday, Sept. 19.

Arriving shortly after 12:30 a.m., Usher, Brown and Dupri were seated at the exclusive VIP table next to the stage. The trio was spotted hanging out with One Direction band member Niall Horan, who continues to make XS his go-to club for a night out in Las Vegas, hip-hop artist SchoolBoy Q, rock ‘n’ roller Tommy Lee, his fiancée Sofia “Sofi” Toufa and XS Managing Partner Jesse Waits.

Following Skrillex’s set, Usher and Brown joined the DJ on stage to sing “Happy Birthday” to Dupri. Partygoers went crazy as the two stayed on the mic to perform their hit song, “New Flame.” Usher and Brown then closed out the club as they continued to sing for another 30 minutes before heading out around 3:30 a.m.

Other notable guests include mixed martial arts fighter and former Olympic wrestler Dan Henderson, and videogame programmer and designer Markus “Notch” Persson. Throughout the night, Notch sipped on the Five Star, XS’ specialty cocktail mixed with Louis XIII Rare Cask 42.6, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23-year, Martini Gran Lusso 150th Anniversary Vermouth, D.O.M. Benedictine “Black Monk” 500th Anniversary Edition, Peychaud’s Bitters, Angostura Bitters and flamed orange oils. The $5,000 libation was delivered on a gold tray and made tableside for him to enjoy with friends.

Mötley Crüe continued its Mötley Crüe Invites you to an Intimate Evening in Hell residency inside The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Friday, Sept. 27 – Sunday, Sept. 29. The band brings back scorching pyrotechnics and a list of hits this week for its final run of shows on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 4 – Sunday Oct. 6.

On Friday, rocker Tommy Lee and DJ Aero hit the stage at Body English Nightclub & Afterhours for their dynamic, live DJ set. The duo spun a mix of electric and house music as partygoers danced into the early morning hours. Black Boots and DJ Pizzo also provided a soundtrack for the night’s party.

Street Drum Corps returned to Vinyl on Saturday to continue its Lost Vegas residency. The group started the evening off with its signature, nightly parade through the center of Hard Rock Hotel. The spectacle included a drum line and a cast of stilt walkers. Opening for the band were students from the local music program School of Rock and electronic pop act Electric Valentine. Following, the percussion enthusiasts took over the venue with their high-energy beats and were joined on stage by special guests Lee and Shannon Larkin of Godsmack. Fans went wild as the award-winning drummers concluded the night with another of its iconic, energetic parades through the casino floor.

Lee was back on Sunday when he was accompanied by DJ Aero on the poolside stage at REHAB. The Electro Mayhem pair turned up the noise as patrons celebrated at Las Vegas’ original dayclub. Resident DJs Richard Beynon, DJ Shift and DJ Wellman were also there spinning today’s best hits.

WITH AN EPIC, HELL-INSPIRED EXTRAVAGANZA, SEPT. 18
Tickets On Sale for Shows Now – Oct. 6 at www.ticketmaster.com

Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe, pioneers of the Las Vegas hard rock residency, once again took the city by storm and transformed The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino into a fiery abyss with the debut of their second residency, Mötley Crüe Invites You to an Intimate Evening in Hell, on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Mötley Crüe, comprised of vocalist Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist Mick Mars, stayed true to their word by pushing their own envelope once again with an exclusive, all-new, never-seen-before production that can only be seen now through Sunday, Oct. 6. The notorious band kicked off the first night of their 12 show residency in front of a sold out house.

In true Las Vegas and Mötley Crüe fashion and following last year’s sold out three week run, the band creates the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll experience with an elaborate stage design, flashy costumes and adrenaline-pumping surprises. The residency showcases one of the biggest lighting and sound presentations ever hosted in the award-winning concert venue, massive LED screens placed above and around the stage as well as the band’s signature over-the-top pyrotechnics.

From hell-themed costumes, which includes Neil’s elaborate black and red, floor-length, leather coat and the venue’s ushers, bartenders and box office staff clad as the gatekeepers of the underworld, to devil-inspired magicians and stilt walkers at the entrance to the venue, no detail has been forgotten. During one of the highest-energy moments of the night, Sixx shoots fireballs from his bass that rise more than 30 feet above the stage while Neil belts out vocals for “Shout at the Devil.” In addition to the extravagant theatrics, Mötley Crüe delivers a set-list full of hits including high-octane numbers such as “Wild Side,” “Kickstart My Heart,” “Saints Of Los Angeles,” “Dr. Feelgood,” “Girls, Girls, Girls” and their signature ballad “Home Sweet Home,” featuring Lee playing a flaming piano.

Celebrities and rockstars alike were in attendance on opening night to get a glimpse of the band’s famous antics. Brian May of legendary rock band Queen and Academy Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage were spotted in the crowd, amongst others.

In honor of the launch, the band will be answering fan questions about their Las Vegas residency Mötley Crüe Invites You to an Intimate Evening in Hell via a Reddit AMA on Friday, Sept. 20 at 12 p.m. PST/ 3 p.m. EST.  This unprecedented direct to fan Q&A will allow fans to submit questions directly to the band which the band will answer without any filter. Recent AMA’s include Dave Grohl, Bill Gates, Trent Reznor, Tony Hawk, Thom Yorke and President Obama amongst others.

Produced exclusively by AEG Live, the band continues their Las Vegas engagement Sept. 20 – 22, 25, 27 – 29 and Oct. 2, 4 – 6. Mötley Crüe Invites You to an Intimate Evening in Hell offers a show unlike anything seen before with plenty of surprise elements. Tickets, starting at $49.50 (plus applicable service fees) are available at the Hard Rock Hotel Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at 800.745.3000.

Mötley Crüe Invites You to an Intimate Evening in Hell marks the notorious band’s second residency at The Joint. In February 2012, Mötley Crüe blew away fans and critics alike with Las Vegas’ first-ever hard rock residency, Mötley Crüe in Sin City.

Tickets start at $39.50                                                                                                                                                                                   On sale now
The Monster Energy Rock Allegiance Tour featuring Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains & Airbourne stops at The Joint. This year marks the third installment for Monster Energy Rock Allegiance; the event launched as a traveling tour back in 2011. In 2012, it became a “destination festival” in Hershey, Pa. that featured Stone Temple Pilots, Three Days Grace, Seether, Buckcherry, Fuel, Daughtry and more, commandeering Hersheypark Stadium over the Labor Day Weekend. This year, the fest returns to the road and brings American audiences the very best that rock music as a whole has to offer, with a decidedly international feel.

Danish superstars Volbeat will share the stage with HIM, a cult favorite from Finland whose fans are disciple-like in their devotion. All That Remains have scratched and clawed their way out of Massachusetts and rocketed up the radio charts over the past half-decade, all the while keeping a firm foothold in the hard rock scene. Airbourne have been making a name for themselves ever since emerging from Australia, armed with plenty of riffs and just as much attitude.

Electric features nine tracks in total – eight brand new Pet Shop Boys’ songs plus a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Last to Die.” The result is as uncompromising a collection of dance anthems as Pet Shop Boys have ever made.

Pet Shop Boys said, “Electric is very much set on the dance floor. Our latest album often evolves as a response to our previous album and, where as Elysium had a reflective mood, Electric is pretty banging! And working with Stuart Price on a studio album is something we have wanted to do for a very long time.”

“Mötley Crüe in Sin City” Review and Photos from Feb 4th Show

Mötley Crüe Takes On Las Vegas

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas’ premier destination entertainment resort, invites music fans from around the world to experience Mötley Crüe in Sin City, the hotel’s first-ever hard rock residency. During the month of February, the world’s most notorious rock band performs twelve shows at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel, offering a never-before-seen interactive and theatrical music experience. In celebration of the historic event, Hard Rock Hotel transforms into a one-of-a-kind Sin City circus extravaganza bringing to life the saying “party like a rock star,” synonymous with the hotel since its inception in 1995.

Hard Rock welcomes Mötley Crüe in Sin City through property-wide activations ranging from circus-themed games to Mötley Crüe inspired dishes and cocktails. Upon arrival at Hard Rock Hotel, guests may marvel at Vince Neil’s 1932 Ford Coupe displayed at the main entrance of the casino. Throughout the property, music lovers may live, eat and breathe the legendary rock band in a festive environment – extravagant red and white drapes above the iconic Center Bar, carnival announcers, stilt walkers, aerialists, balloonists, clowns and clowns on the casino floor funhouse mirrors leading into The Joint, themed poker chips and poker table felts. Performers parade through the casino floor on show days, offering hotel guests and visitors a sneak-peek of the Mötley Crüe in Sin City shows happening throughout the month.

We were lucky enough to catch night 2 of the “Mötley Crüe in Sin City” residency at The Joint in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It started fashionably late and was well worth waiting for. Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee did not disappoint as they laid it all out on The Joint stage. The rocking crowd got into it and the place was packed. It was a typical Crüe show with lots of rocker dudes, hot chicks, plenty of alcohol flowing and who knows what else. If you’re a Mötley Crüe fan then you should definitely get your ass to the show and check it out before they leave town. We’re glad Mötley Crüe, The Joint, Hard Rock Hotel Casino, Kirvin Doak and MSO PR had us there.
