Kicking off on Monday, April 30, guests can go backstage with the freshest runway-inspired looks for spring with a week of all things beauty.

Looking for the perfect pick me up this season? Bellagio Begins Redesign of Suites in Resort’s Main Tower

Final Phase of Guest Room Remodel Includes 403 Suites

Recognized worldwide as a leader in luxury hospitality, Bellagio has begun the remodel of all 403 suites in the resort’s main tower. This marks the final phase of an approximately $165 million investment into the newly designed rooms and suites that began in 2011.

 

After redesigning 2,568 Resort Rooms in the Bellagio Tower in 2011, the AAA Five Diamond resort followed up with a remodel of all 928 Resort Rooms and suites in its Spa Tower in 2012. The completion of the remaining suites in the Bellagio Tower is expected by February 2015.

 

“We want to ensure that all of our guests enjoy the same exquisite luxury and design  Bellagio is known for the world over, no matter which room or suite they may choose,” said Randy Morton, president and COO of Bellagio. “A great deal of thought went into every element of these spaces and we’re thrilled to begin the final phase of this project.”

 

Created by the talented MGM Resorts International Design Group, the suites will offer refined furnishings with high-style surfaces such as lacquer and exotic wood graining as well as sumptuous fabrics influenced by modern fashion. Key design elements and color themes will be consistent with the recently unveiled suites in the Spa Tower, along with a new color palette of spring greens and Dragonfruit pink meant to promote rejuvenation of the spirit.

 In conjunction with the grand opening of the brand-new Polaroid Fotobar and The Polaroid Museum at The LINQ, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas is announcing its figure of the iconic artist Andy Warhol will be on view in Las Vegas for the first time beginning April 24. The figure, on loan from Madame Tussauds London, will be on display in Polaroid Fotobar’s new flagship retail shop until Aug. 1. Upstairs will be an exhibition of Warhol’s artwork and artifacts, “Capturing Celebrity,” presented by The Andy Warhol Museum and serving as the centerpiece of The Polaroid Museum. Admission to The Polaroid Museum on April 24 will be FREE from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Famously associated with the declaration, “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes,” Warhol acquired renown in the art world and beyond for his mass-produced paintings of celebrities. As with all the more than 100 of the celebrity figures on display at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, located at The Venetian, visitors to the new Polaroid Fotobar are encouraged to get up close and personal with the Warhol figure and take their own photographs with the legendary art star.

“Capturing Celebrity” will feature a collection of 50 of Warhol’s most famous Polaroid photographs, including a number of self-portraits. The exhibit will also feature several celebrity portraits, such as Dennis Hopper, Truman Capote, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Mick Jagger, Dolly Parton, Farrah Fawcett, Debbie Harry, Giorgio Armani, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keith Richards, Muhammad Ali and more. Two of Warhol’s personal Polaroid cameras will also be on display.
