British Luxury Brand Mulberry Opens First Store in Las Vegas

To celebrate its first Las Vegas store opening on Aug. 1, Mulberry has created a capsule collection of stunning limited edition embellished pieces, available exclusively in Las Vegas at Mulberry inside The Forum Shops. A sumptuous black suede clutch, called the Clemmie, is studded with dozens of gunmetal rivets for a truly statement bag. Four classic and exquisitely tailored black dresses are decorated with beading and glass crystal, adding a touch of glamour inspired by an artistic floral motif. A pair of striking embellished high heel sandals completes the look. The Forum Shops store is the first Mulberry store in North America to feature a new store design concept. Inspired by Mulberry’s roots in the English countryside the design uses color and textures inspired by natural materials. Hand-carved and untreated oak is used for shelving, and Somerset limestone is used for the floor, laid out in the style of traditional parquet flooring and reminiscent of traditional English country houses. The store is divided into areas for a calm and elegant shopping environment, with neutral colors allowing the products to stand out. Mulberry commissioned British leather artist Genevieve Bennett to create a stunning collection of leather wall tiles carved out in beautiful tonal leather, of course inspired by Mulberry’s heritage of leather craftsmanship. The Forum shops location features Mulberry’s first ever wall of ‘falling leaves’, taken from the iconic Mulberry tree logo to create a subtle and elegant pattern on a feature wall for all to see.

Christian Louboutin Introduces Signature Nail Polish

The famous red-sole of the incomparable Louboutin shoe is now available as a signature nail polish. The French footwear guru is taking his first steps into the beauty business with a range of signature polishes housed in strikingly tall, spiky bottles. Priced at $50 each, the well-heeled, red nail enamel, Rouge Louboutin, is now available at Christian Louboutin inside The Forum Shops. An additional 30 shades will be available at the end of August. A genuine luxury experience, Louboutin nail polish has among the highest percentage of pigment in the industry and is housed in an eye-catching bottle with a wand-like cap. The designer has grouped his polishes into in three color families — Pop, Nude and Noir.

AllSaints to Open Unique Multimedia Flagship Store in The Forum Shops at Caesars

British retailer, AllSaints is set to launch its new Las Vegas flagship location at The Forum Shops at Caesars later this summer. At more than 12,000 square feet, AllSaints Caesars will be the second largest store in the brands global portfolio and will offer a multi-level shopping experience. Each AllSaints store is unique and AllSaints Caesars is no exception. The store boasts more than 1,400 square feet of digital display screens that will stream the creative content produced by AllSaints Studios. In addition, the store will feature an 8 foot by 4 foot sewing machine table originally constructed in 1906 to make sails for ships. A traditional English red telephone booth modified to house an interactive display will allow customers to shop online, in-store. The exterior facade reinforces the AllSaints values of craftsmanship and digital innovation by featuring 346 sewing machines against a backdrop of more than 1,000 square feet of LED displays. Founded in London in 1994, AllSaints creates design-led clothing for men and women. The brand expresses attitude and individuality through a strong digital presence, deep-rooted links to music, and its film division, AllSaints Studios.

Even during the summer months, boot camp continues to be a fast favorite of the female athlete. The high intensity training typically lasts more than an hour and includes a running element. With this method in mind, Nike designers set out to create a footwear solution equipped for lengthier workouts completed on a variety of surfaces. The Nike Lunar Cross Element proves to be versatile enough to handle not only the run to and from a boot camp class, but also the variety of movements required throughout the workout. Globally recognized as the premiere address for luxury retail, 2012 was another winning year at The Forum Shops at Caesars. The Forum Shops was named #1 Enclosed Mall and #2 Overall Mall Worldwide based on annualized sales per square foot in Shopping Centers Today – the official publication of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Additionally, The Forum Shops celebrated its milestone 20th anniversary in 2012, hosted its first-ever Special Olympics Torch Relay, welcomed 11 new tenants, celebrated the remodel and expansion of seven current retailers and presented a truly Las Vegas-style Fashion’s Night Out.

This past year, eleven tenants opened inside The Forum Shops including most recently Diane von Furstenberg. Several first-to-market retailers also made The Forum Shops home this year such as Panerai, Hublot, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Hearts On Fire. Also opening in 2012, Alfred Dunhill, Rolex, Kate Spade, Breitling, Henri Bendel and Peter Lik’s newest gallery.

Seven additional retailers within the famed center have either remodeled or expanded in the past year including Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, a doubled-in-size Swarovski, bebe and Brighton Collectibles. In 2012, Fendi expanded with a flagship format, opening a second boutique to house an exclusive stand-alone Fendi Shoe Salon. Looking ahead to early 2013, NYC’s legendary family-style Italian eatery, Carmine’s will open its first west coast location inside The Forum Shops and classic American fashion designer Michael Kors debuts its remodeled and expanded store.

Continuing its demonstrated record of success, The Forum Shops at Caesars maintains its leadership position as one of the nation’s top-performing shopping centers with unparalleled sales growth for the year.

Highlights of 2010-2011

Eleven new stores and restaurants have come to The Forum Shops in the past year. Among them are several firsts to the market such as Reed Krakoff, Inglot, UGG Australia, Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, P.J. Clarke’s and the world’s largest, flagship H&M.

* Six more new stores are coming soon including Christian Louboutin, Rimowa, Panerai, Hublot and Coach Mens – a first in Las Vegas.

* Due to increasing sales and demand, seven world-renowned retailers have expanded.

* Four are remodeling, renovating or relocating within the famed retail center.

Strong sales trends for 2011 reflect a double-digit increase with a noticeable emphasis on luxury brands. Currently, The Forum Shops remains the leader in the industry in producing the highest sales per square foot annually – effectively tripling the national average.

Since May 2010, The Forum Shops welcomed 11 new prestigious retailers and restaurants including Reed Krakoff with its first west coast location, the world’s largest H&M, Christian Audigier, Bettie Page, True Religion, Inglot, La Martina, Skechers and UGG Australia. Restaurant additions included, P.J. Clarke’s first venture to the west coast and Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man in its second U.S. location.

New retailers for 2011 that are opening soon at The Forum Shops include:

* Christian Louboutin: Synonynous with luxury and quality, Christian Louboutin’s new location will feature the French designer’s luxury shoe and bag designs and collections in a boutique atmosphere. (Opening Summer 2011)

Nike recently opened with an expansion. The new Nike Las Vegas will open in its full capacity in mid-July with a complete multi-category offering and brand experience. The store is open in a limited capacity until July featuring all things basketball, including Kobe, LeBron and Jordan brands.

“We are excited to be expanding Nike Las Vegas at The Forum Shops,” said Tim Hershey, VP/GM for Nike North America Retail. “Our expanded Vegas location will be an expression of Nike’s newest retail concept, delivering new and innovative consumer experiences, market tailored product offerings, community resources and the introduction of team customization services. It will be the fifth of its kind in the U.S.”

In order to better serve customer needs, another five retailers are remodeling, renovating or relocating within the premier shopping destination including Salvatore Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton and Roman Times. Italian luxury fashion house Fendi is expanding within The Forum Shops to increase its merchandise mix and Giuseppe Zanotti is relocating within the center.
