For the first time ever, the distinguished retail center will be offering “Ducks For A Cure” – pink ducks for “adoption” for $5 with ALL proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen®.  
These limited edition pink ducks can be purchased at either of the Forum Shops Guest Services Booths. Once adopted, visitors can personalize their new buoyant buddy with a message to a loved one and take the duck to the reflecting pool located at the base of the spiral escalator on level one and release it into the water. “The sea of pink ducks is a unique way to pay tribute to those who have been effected by breast cancer and it will offer shoppers a visual spectacle during October, which is a great way to increase breast cancer awareness throughout The Forum Shops all month long,” said Maureen Crampton, Director of Marketing and Business Development for The Forum Shops.
Additionally, The Forum Shops will also be offering a special More Than Pink discount card for $10 with all proceeds again benefiting Susan G. Komen. Marking its milestone 25th anniversary this year, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, in partnership with InVEGAS Magazine, will be the exclusive location to ring in El Grito for the Mexican Independence Day weekend celebration. On Friday, September 15 at 8:00 p.m., The Forum Shops will host the official opening ceremony to kick off the festivities with a celebratory ringing of the bell by Mexican Consul Alejandro Madrigal along with a Mariachi band and traditional folkloric dancers. Staged atop the picturesque reflecting pool near the spiral escalator, the public is invited to join in on the free event.
in honor of Mexican Independence Day, stop by Border Grill at The Forum Shops for Patron margaritas, $3 tacos, $7 baja ceviche tostaditas and much more from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15.

British Luxury Brand Mulberry Opens First Store in Las Vegas

To celebrate its first Las Vegas store opening on Aug. 1, Mulberry has created a capsule collection of stunning limited edition embellished pieces, available exclusively in Las Vegas at Mulberry inside The Forum Shops. A sumptuous black suede clutch, called the Clemmie, is studded with dozens of gunmetal rivets for a truly statement bag. Four classic and exquisitely tailored black dresses are decorated with beading and glass crystal, adding a touch of glamour inspired by an artistic floral motif. A pair of striking embellished high heel sandals completes the look. The Forum Shops store is the first Mulberry store in North America to feature a new store design concept. Inspired by Mulberry’s roots in the English countryside the design uses color and textures inspired by natural materials. Hand-carved and untreated oak is used for shelving, and Somerset limestone is used for the floor, laid out in the style of traditional parquet flooring and reminiscent of traditional English country houses. The store is divided into areas for a calm and elegant shopping environment, with neutral colors allowing the products to stand out. Mulberry commissioned British leather artist Genevieve Bennett to create a stunning collection of leather wall tiles carved out in beautiful tonal leather, of course inspired by Mulberry’s heritage of leather craftsmanship. The Forum shops location features Mulberry’s first ever wall of ‘falling leaves’, taken from the iconic Mulberry tree logo to create a subtle and elegant pattern on a feature wall for all to see.

The famous red-sole of the incomparable Louboutin shoe is now available as a signature nail polish. The French footwear guru is taking his first steps into the beauty business with a range of signature polishes housed in strikingly tall, spiky bottles. Priced at $50 each, the well-heeled, red nail enamel, Rouge Louboutin, is now available at Christian Louboutin inside The Forum Shops. An additional 30 shades will be available at the end of August. A genuine luxury experience, Louboutin nail polish has among the highest percentage of pigment in the industry and is housed in an eye-catching bottle with a wand-like cap. The designer has grouped his polishes into in three color families — Pop, Nude and Noir.

AllSaints

AllSaints to Open Unique Multimedia Flagship Store in The Forum Shops at Caesars

British retailer, AllSaints is set to launch its new Las Vegas flagship location at The Forum Shops at Caesars later this summer. At more than 12,000 square feet, AllSaints Caesars will be the second largest store in the brands global portfolio and will offer a multi-level shopping experience. Each AllSaints store is unique and AllSaints Caesars is no exception. The store boasts more than 1,400 square feet of digital display screens that will stream the creative content produced by AllSaints Studios. In addition, the store will feature an 8 foot by 4 foot sewing machine table originally constructed in 1906 to make sails for ships. A traditional English red telephone booth modified to house an interactive display will allow customers to shop online, in-store. The exterior facade reinforces the AllSaints values of craftsmanship and digital innovation by featuring 346 sewing machines against a backdrop of more than 1,000 square feet of LED displays. Founded in London in 1994, AllSaints creates design-led clothing for men and women. The brand expresses attitude and individuality through a strong digital presence, deep-rooted links to music, and its film division, AllSaints Studios.

Even during the summer months, boot camp continues to be a fast favorite of the female athlete. The high intensity training typically lasts more than an hour and includes a running element. It’s Family Fun For The Holidays at The Forum Shops at Caesars

World-Renowned Shopping Experience Offers Something for Every Member of the Family

 

 It’s time to go holiday shopping, and a trip to The Forum Shops can be an event for the whole family between the great shopping, dining, and one-of-a-kind attractions. The sheer number of stores at The Forum Shops will keep kids’ eyes roving, and the trademark sky-feature above and world-famous spiral escalator will make them happy shopping companions.  Below is a list of additional attractions for families:
  • The Atlantis Aquarium: The 50,000-gallon saltwater aquarium features colorful tropical fish and is located in the Roman Great Hall. Of heroic proportion, the hall is 160 feet in diameter and 85 feet high with more than 300 fish. Be sure to watch the aquarists feed them during dives scheduled at 1:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. daily. Families can take a complimentary below-the-scenes guided tour of the support facilities Monday through Friday at 3:15 p.m.
  • The Atlantis Show: In this same hall guests can see awe-inspiring statues that come to life. The gods unleash their wrath in this animatronics extravaganza of epic proportions. Fire, water, smoke, and special effects tell the tale of Atlas, Gadrius, and Alia, who struggle to rule the undersea city. Today, these statues are a “must see” for Las Vegas visitors of all ages. The Atlantis Show has more than 400 moving parts in each of the characters. Shows are daily on the hour, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
  • Houdini’s Magic Shop: The magician in all of us comes out at this unique magic shop. Kids can try out their new bag of tricks. Shhh… in the back, there’s a special room where Houdini’s magicians train visitors on how to do their own tricks.
  • Kids Kastle: Need a baby or kid-sized signature Elvis white sequined jumpsuit, complete with a gold pair of sunglasses? Or how about a backpack that doubles as a dinosaur shell?  No problem.  Kid’s Kastle carries children’s apparel, infants to size 14, as well as toys, gifts and other unusual and unique accessories.
  • Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man: The worldwide phenomenon with a menu primarily made from chocolate is a hit all year, but it seems especially suited to the holidays. Feast on chocolate pizza, chocolate drinks and other innovative chocolate creations at Max Brenner’s location at The Forum Shops.
  • Sony: For the tech lovers in the family, check out the Sony store with its tablets, digital still cameras, and video recorders. The family that takes ski trips may need the new Action Cam, a high-definition video camera with built-in Wi-Fi, Carl Zeiss® optics, and a rugged exterior that can take on mud, snow, and water.
  • Apple: For more high tech gear, the whole family can marvel at the products at the Apple store, including the much-coveted iPad, the unbelievably light MacBook Air, and the new iPhone 5 with its sleek, longer design. If new tech toys aren’t in the cards this Christmas though, family members can at least pick out their own gadget accessories from iPhone cases to laptop sleeves and messenger bags.
  • Telling time becomes fun: At Swatch, kids learn how to tell time with Flik Flak, a watch brand that developed a method of teaching children to tell the time as young as three.   Meanwhile, at Tourneau Time Dome, kids of all ages can turn this watch store into an adventure. At 13,400 square feet, it is the world’s largest watch store according to the Guinness World Book of Records. A large variety of different watch lines are represented in this two-level venue.
  • Field of Dreams: For the sports enthusiast, this is the perfect spot for a walk through sports history as well as recognizing hall of famers. Notorious for featuring guest appearances and autograph signings by Dan Marino to Smokin’ Joe Frazier to Dick Butkus.
  • Nike: This huge Nike store features innovative NIKEiD customization for apparel, runner’s service Nike+, the exclusive technology that allows runners to track their distance, pace, calories and more. New iMac stations, iPod charging docks and wireless connectivity allows runners to sync up their run at NikePlus.com.   • The Atlantis Aquarium: The 50,000-gallon saltwater aquarium features colorful tropical fish and is located in the Roman Great Hall.  Of heroic proportion, the hall is 160 feet in diameter and 85 feet high with more than 300 fish.  Be sure to watch the aquarists feed them during dives scheduled at 1:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. daily.  Families can take a complimentary below-the-scenes guided tour of the support facilities Monday through Friday at 3:15 p.m.
  • The Atlantis Show: In this same hall is one of two locations where guests can see awe-inspiring statues that come to life. The gods unleash their wrath in this animatronics extravaganza of epic proportions. Fire, water, smoke, and special effects tell the tale of Atlas, Gadrius and Alia, who struggle to rule the undersea city.  Today, these statues are a “must see” for Las Vegas visitors of all ages.  The Atlantis Show has more than 400 moving parts in each of the characters.  Shows are daily on the hour, beginning at 11:00 a.m..
  • Houdini’s Magic Shop: The magician in all of us comes out at this unique magic shop.  Kids can try out their new bag of tricks.  Shhh… in the back, there’s a special room where Houdini’s magicians train visitors on how to do their own tricks.
  • Kids Kastle: Need a baby or kid-sized signature Elvis white sequined jumpsuit, complete with a gold pair of sunglasses?  Or how about Las Vegas emblazed t-shirt with cartoon characters?  No problem.  Kid’s Kastle carries children’s apparel, infants to size 14, as well as toys, gifts and other unusual and unique accessories.
  • Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man: The worldwide phenomenon with a menu primarily made from chocolate debuts this summer.  Max Brenner’s location at The Forum Shops will hold the distinction of being the largest at 9,400 square feet.  Also to catch the guests’ eyes: enormous white vats mixing chocolate that will flow into pipes running throughout the entire space.  The décor will also feature huge bricks, candles, pralines, colorful toy tines and crates overflowing with cocoa beans.  Currently, including Las Vegas, there will be 29 total locations, with two in the United States: New York City and Philadelphia.
  • Telling time becomes fun: At Swatch, kids learn how to tell time with Flik Flak, a watch brand that developed a method of teaching children to tell the time as young as three.   Meanwhile, at Tourneau Time Dome, kids of all ages can turn this watch store into an adventure.  At 13,400 square feet, it is the world’s largest watch store according to the Guinness World Book of Records.  More than 100 different watch lines are represented in this two-level venue.
  • Field of Dreams: For the sports enthusiast, this is the perfect spot for a walk through sports history as well as recognizing hall of famers.  Notorious for featuring guest appearances and autograph signings by Dan Marino to Smokin’ Joe Frazier to Dick Butkus.

Recognized as one of the finest luxury shopping destinations in the world, The Forum Shops at Caesars and the Art Institute of Las Vegas have conducted a ground-breaking search for Las Vegas’ Best New Designer, and the Top 10 Finalists have been chosen with one talented designer set to win the title at Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, September 8, 2011.

 
As part of the exciting journey which began by submitting their video applications, the Top 3 designers from the competition will all be featured in a special fashion show taking place directly over The Forum Shops famed reflecting pool.  The lucky winner will then be named by Caesars Palace headliner Matt Goss. Additionally, each of the Top 3 designers will have the opportunity to showcase their winning look during the night’s festivities. 
 
The finalists style and vision range from vintage to hippie with a rock twist to evening wear, and all the applicants have proved that they deserve a spot in the Top 10.   From August 22 through August 30, the public will have a chance to help choose the winner by voting for their favorite designer only at facebook.com/theforumshops. After tabulating the votes and the combined scores from the judging panel, the Top 3 Finalists will be announced on September 2nd.  Each of these designers will then be invited to participate in the special fashion show taking place in honor of Fashion’s Night Out at The Forum Shops. In addition to winning bragging rights and having their fashion featured on the runway, the winner will also take home a $500 shopping spree from The Forum Shops. The Forum Shops will also be providing the Art Institute of Las Vegas with a $2000 scholarship.

“We were so excited about the level of enthusiasm from the applicants. …they were original, talented and distinctive,” explains Maureen Crampton, director of marketing, The Forum Shops.  “This project proved that we have a great deal of talent right here in Las Vegas, and we are proud to have provided a platform for them to gain more attention and awareness.  They are all winners in our eyes!”  
 
“The Art Institute of Las Vegas is very proud to be part of this competition,” explains Nancy Bohnett, Academic Director Interior Design & Fashion and Retail Management & Drafting Technology and Design.  “It’s so important to support local programs and our own talent here in Las Vegas.   We have seen so much excitement from our own students and staff, and we have worked with the team at The Forum Shops to make sure all potential designers were aware of this unique search.”
 
High fashion will also be in the house with several fashion shows featuring more than 25 specialty retail partners. A specially designed runway has been created and will be placed over The Forum Shops famed reflecting pool; providing three floors of unique viewing areas.  Adding to the excitement and further creating a distinctly celebratory vibe, special lounge areas, photo booths and entertainment can be discovered throughout the retail destination.
 
With 75 participating retailers, there will be plenty of fun things to see and do for fashion’s biggest party during Fashion’s Night Out at The Forum Shops. Enjoy makeovers with the talented experts at Dior Beauty where you’ll find a special makeup artist in-store. See what good fortune is in your cards with astrology and Chinese tarot readings at Eric Andrew Collection. Help Haiti with the purchase of a special T-shirt at Valentino where you’ll also find champagne and appetizers.  Enjoy special refreshments in-store at Custo Barcelona, DKNY, Giuseppe Zanotti, James Perse, St. John, Swarovski, Tadashi, and Vilebrequin. Elie Tahari has exciting festivities in store as will Emporio Armani, Gucci and Longchamp.
