Rock of Vegas Summer Concert Series at Fremont Street Experience

English rock band and one of the pioneers of rock music, Deep Purple, joins the stellar lineup of bands performing in the Rock of Vegas summer concert series at Fremont Street Experience. Renowned for hit songs like “Smoke on the Water,” “Highway Star,” “Fireball,” and “Speed King,” Deep Purple will rock audiences on Friday, August 15 on the 3rd Street Stage at  9 p.m. in fabulous Downtown Las Vegas.


Each year from May through September, Fremont Street Experience transforms Downtown Las Vegas into the hottest place to be with the Rock of Vegas free summer concert series; one of the most popular summertime events in Las Vegas featuring four months of rockin’ nightly entertainment, free headliner concerts and Viva Vision shows. This year’s concert series kicks off Sunday, May 18 with Marianas Trench and will also include a Memorial Day Weekend performance from hit pop-duo Karmin on Saturday, May 24 as well as 3 Doors Down on Saturday, June 14 and the Summerland Tour 2014: featuring EverclearSoul AsylumEve 6 and Space Hog on Friday, July 18. Deep Purple
English rock band Deep Purple is known as one of the pioneers of Rock music. The band got its start in Hertford, England in 1968 and released a trio of albums 1970-73 that catapulted them to the top in concert grosses and album sales around the world. Fremont Street Experience has added smash-hit recording artist 3 Doors Down to the Rock of Vegas summer concert series lineup. The band will rock audiences at Fremont Street Experience performing fan favorites such as “Here Without You,” “Kryptonite,” “When I’m Gone,” “Be Like That” and more as they perform a free concert on Saturday, June 14 on the 3rd Street Stage at 9 p.m.

“3 Doors Down first performed on our stages two years ago as part of the kick-off party for UFC International Fight Week. Genre-Bending Pop Duo Karmin extends #PulsesTour to include FREE performance during Rock of Vegas Summer Concert Series on May 24 

Say “Hello” to the genre-bending pop duo Karmin (Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan) as they perform a free a concert Memorial Day Weekend at Fremont Street Experience. An extension of the duo’s current #PulsesTour, Karmin will take Fremont Street Experience’s 1st Street Stage on Saturday, May 24 at 9 p.m. as part of the Rock of Vegas summer concert series. With hit songs such as “I Want It All,” “Crash Your Party,” “Look at Me Now” and “I Told You So,” Karmin’s performance is one that is sure to not leave audiences “Brokenhearted” at the end of the night.

“Every year the lineup for Fremont Street Experience’s Rock of Vegas concert series gets better and by kicking off the summer with an artist of Karmin’s caliber, this year is no exception,” said Jeff Victor, president at Fremont Street Experience. “There’s no better way to celebrate the official start of summer this Memorial Day Weekend than listening to a great artist underneath the neon lights of the Viva Vision canopy.”

Every May-September Fremont Street Experience transforms Downtown Las Vegas into the hottest place to be with the Rock of Vegas summer concert series; one of the most popular summertime events in Las Vegas featuring four months of rockin’ nightly entertainment, free headliner concerts and Viva Vision shows. This year’s concert series kicks off Sunday, May 18 with Marianas Trench and will also include the Summerland Tour 2014: Featuring Everclear, Soul Asylum, Eve 6 and Space Hog on July 18. In the three years since Karmin’s Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan signed to Epic Records, the duo has been on a wild ride. M Resort Spa Casino will host the 98.5 KLUC and The Beat Clan Summer Jam 2012, an all-day poolside party and concert at the M Resort’s spectacular Villaggio Del Sole outdoor concert piazza on Sunday, June 17 starting at noon. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 15 at 10am. Headlining the show is pop band, The Wanted. They will be joined by special guests Karmin, HardNox, Chris Rene and DJ Hollywood.

British boy band, The Wanted — Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes have taken the pop music world by storm under the guidance of Scooter Braun, Justin Beiber’s manager. The band released their first U.S. album The Wanted EP last month to rave reviews.

The group’s single, “Glad You Came,” has been featured on Fox’s hit series “Glee,” and the band made their U.S. television debut on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” The single peaked at number three on the U.S. Hot 100 and has sold over two million copies in America since its release.
