]Fremont Street Experience is jam-packed with events taking place on its three stages underneath the Viva Vision canopy this May. SlotZilla, the world’s most unique zipline,is now open to the public. Please see below for hours of operation, pricing and sales for inclusion in ongoing attraction calendar listings. Additionally the Rock of Vegas Summer Concert Series kicks off this month featuring performances from Marianas Trench and Karmin. Complete entertainment and Viva Vision show schedules are provided below.

 

All shows and performances are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Ample parking is available at the Fremont Street Experience parking garage located on the corner of Carson Avenue and 4th Street or at any of the legendary casinos that line historic Fremont Street. The 3rd Street Stage is located at the intersection of 3rd Street and Fremont Street next to the D Las Vegas Casino & Hotel, Four Queens Hotel & Casino and Fremont Hotel & Casino. The 1st Street Stage at the intersection of 1st Street and Fremont Street next to Golden Nugget Las Vegas and Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel. The Main Street Stage is near the intersection of Main Street and Fremont Street near the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. The Casino Center Area is located near the corner of Casino Center Blvd. and Fremont Street between the Golden Nugget Las Vegas and Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel.

 

SlotZilla Hours of Operation & Pricing:

Hours of Operation: Sundays through Thursdays: Noon to Midnight. Fridays and Saturdays: Noon to 2 a.m.

Price: $20 – lower Zipline (now open). $30 – upper Zoomline (opening later this spring).

Viva Vision Schedule:

May 1 – 12 – Viva Vision showtimes are 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m., 11 p.m. and 12 a.m. with additional 1 a.m. shows Thursdays-Saturdays.

May 13 – 31 – Viva Vision showtimes are 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m., 11 p.m., 12 a.m. and 1 a.m.

May 26 – Special show to commemorate Memorial Day will be shown at 12 a.m.

Helldorado Days Kickoff – Free concert featuring performances from Sierra Black from 8:10-9 p.m. and Lindsay Ell from 9:15-10:45 p.m. on the 3rd Street Stage on Wednesday, May 14.

 

Las Vegas Car Stars – Opening Ceremonies will take place on Friday, May 16 from 5-7 p.m. on the 3rd Street Stage. Cars will be displayed in front of the 1st and 3rd Street Stages on May 17 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and an autograph session will be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

CBR Championship Bull Riding ‘South Point Vegas Challenge’ – Saturday, April 13
Tuff Hedeman and Championship Bull Riding (CBR) tour returns to the South Point Arena for another heart-stopping evening of bull riding Saturday, April 13 at 8 p.m. Presented by Boot Barn, the South Point Vegas Challenge will showcase the world’s top 24 riders as they compete in three rounds of an “8-second formation” competition. Celebrate NASCAR weekend with four days of free entertainment

Fremont Street Experience welcomes race fans during NASCAR weekend with the 10th Annual RaceJam 2013. Beginning Thursday, March 7 at 5 p.m. and running through Sunday, March 10, the extended weekend party will be rockin’ with four days of free entertainment.

Headlining the weekend is a 9 p.m. Saturday concert by KIX, a popular glam and pop metal band founded in 1978 in Hagerstown, Md. KIX is most recognized for their songs “Girl Money,” “Cold Blood,” “Don’t Close Your Eyes,” “Midnight Dynamite” and “Blow My Fuse” which reached #13 on Billboard’s “Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.” KIX broke up in 1995 but continued playing together around their hometown a few times a year. Then in the summer of 2008 KIX performed outside their home area for the first time in 13 years at two of the biggest rock festivals in the United States; Rocklahoma in Pryor, Okla. and Rock the Bayou in Houston, Texas. Many music websites and attendees hailed KIX as “Best Performance” at both festivals. These were massive rock festival where KIX played alongside acts such as Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper, Tesla, Queensrÿche, Ratt, Warrant and more.

Since then KIX has been performing more and more shows at festivals, casinos and biker rally’s across the country impressing promoters with their top notch performances and cult following of fans who seem to turn up in big numbers to see them play.

Throughout the weekend live performances will also be featured by Southern Stue paying tribute to southern rock; AC/DC tribute band Bonfire; country cover band Fairchild; The Jay Bolan Band bringing the best of classic rock to the stage; Ryan Whyte Maloney Band playing Honkytonk to new Rockin Country and country singer Sam Riddle.

Rock in the new year with Fremont Street Experience’s Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve 2013 celebration filled with nonstop entertainment. On Monday, Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. the ultimate New Year’s Eve street party will feature co-headliners Buckcherry and Queensryche, plus special guests Quiet Riot, Pop Evil and Otherwise. The party lasts all night with performances from six other incredible bands, including local favorites Yellow Brick Road and Zowie Bowie as well as Jizzy Pearl, Rok of Ages, Party Rockers and Brazen.

Downtown Countdown will also include a 2012 year-in-review retrospective on the Viva Vision screen, a midnight countdown led by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and an epic Fireworks by Grucci produced show synchronized with virtual fireworks on Viva Vision as part of the citywide celebration, “America’s Party: Las Vegas New Year’s 2013.”

Additionally, TributePalooza is back for the fifth year, kicking off the three-day party with two nights of free entertainment on Saturday, Dec. 29 and Sunday Dec. 30. TributePalooza will feature some of the best tribute bands from across the country, paying homage to the Rolling Stones, U2, Van Halen, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and No Doubt.
