Now through June 30, 2016, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department employees who present their employee ID will receive special BOGO tickets

Longtime Las Vegas entertainer Gordie Brown will celebrate the work of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department with a very special offer for its employees. Now through June 30, 2016, LVMPD employees who present an employee ID at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas Box Office are eligible to receive a buy one, get one ticket offer for any Gordie Brown performance through the end of June. Officers who present a badge at the Box Office will receive a complimentary pair of tickets for shows May 15-21, 2016, in honor of National Police Week.

“Each day, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department members risk their lives to protect our community,” said Gordie Brown. “As a token of appreciation for that service, we’d like to extend these special offers to show our gratitude.”

Established by a joint resolution by Congress in 1962, National Police Week recognizes the service and sacrifice of U.S. law enforcement and gives special recognition to officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of the communities they serve.

Gordie, who has performed in Las Vegas for more than 27 years, began headlining at Golden Nugget Las Vegas in February 2009 in the state-of-the-art theater now known as The Gordie Brown Showroom, following a North American tour with Celine Dion. A multitalented entertainer, Gordie has long brought to life performance legends including Presley, Sammy Davis Jr., and Arnold Schwarzenegger alongside a five-piece live band.

A native of Montreal, Canada, Gordie moved to Las Vegas with the goal of working with fellow Canadians Paul Anka and Rich Little. The gamble paid off and before he knew it, he was opening for both Anka and Little. Gordie went on to work with other stars including Jay Leno, Louie Anderson, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Barry Manilow, and Jerry Seinfeld, before opening up his own headlining show.

Gordie Brown performs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in The Gordie Brown Showroom at Golden Nugget Las Vegas. Tickets to the show can be purchased at or by calling (866) 946-5336.

Golden boasts more than forty years of music experience with major recording artists and plays soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones (not to mention all flutes, all clarinets and the EWI – an electronic woodwind instrument). A native Bostonian and graduate from Berklee College of Music with a degree in music composition, he has performed on tour with Diana Ross, appeared on HBO and shared stages with the likes of Shirley McClain, Frank Sinatra, Tony Benett, Anthony Newley, Burt Bacharach, Tom Jones, The Gatlin Brox., Sammy Davis Jr. and Wayne Newton, to name a few.

Located in SoHo, Rotella Gallery’s New York City location will feature The Eric DeAngelis Duo on Dec. 7 from 1 – 3 p.m. Composed of Eric DeAngelis (baritone saxophone and flute) and Jeff Hall (upright bass), this pair injects new life into a varied selection of classic standards from the Great American Songbook as well as compositions by more contemporary jazz musicians. Aside from their joint musical endeavor, DeAngelis serves as the Director of Instrumental Music at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, CT and maintains a large studio of private woodwind students while Hall is a performing musician who also helps nurture the musical growth of students trough private lessons. Both reside in Connecticut and perform and record regularly with their progressive-jazz fusion group Mid Atlantic Title.

Rotella Gallery features photography from four of the world’s leading professionals in the field: Robert Rotella, Art Wolfe, Michael Levin and David Yarrow. In true artistic form, Art Wolfe has culminated his talent as a painter and as a master photographer and created his latest body of work entitled “Human Canvas.” The collection is offered in “Signature Editions of 200” and “Exclusive Editions of 12”. Robert Rotella, whose work with macro-photography is unrivalled, has traveled the globe to capture an often overlooked and unseen world.
