Interactive, entertaining and innovative! What else could an event planner ask for? Well, perhaps for Gwen Stefani, Sandra Bullock or Nick Fury to show up. At the all NEW Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, all this and more is possible for corporate event planners and small groups.
Special Events Manager Michael Tapia and his team do everything they can to create events that are memorable and most of all, world-famous fun. Tapia explains, “Interactive! That’s what guests love most about Madame Tussauds. They’re interacting with our more than 100 wax figures, mingling with live chefs as they cook and journey from one uniquely-themed room to another within the attraction. This is the liveliest place in Las Vegas for an event or party.”
At Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, there is more than 30,000 square feet of space available throughout eight themed-rooms, including the brand new Marvel Super Heroes 4D Experience, which make for a fully immersive and entertainment event. Each room can hold approximately 120 guests reception-style or up to 75 seated. Beginning with Club Tussauds showcasing an array of stars including Leonardo DiCaprio and Britney Spears. Additional interactive rooms span sports (think slam dunking basketballs with Shaquille O’Neal) to television (sit at Larry King’s desk) to music (sing for Simon Cowell and rap with Tupac Shakur) to film (wreak havoc in the “Hangover” suite with Bradley Cooper) and celebrate Las Vegas like no other by visiting with city icons including Celine Dion, Blue Man Group and Criss Angel. The experience concludes with the Marvel Super Heroes 4D Experience and figures such as Nick Fury.
With all of these lavishly decorated and well-lit rooms, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas makes it easy for planners to create an event guests will never forget.
Adds Tapia, “There’s nothing we can’t do for our guests. Rove from one room to the next with different-themed food and drinks. Need an open bar? We absolutely can provide that. Our studio team can also customize a ‘back of house’ experience and incorporate how figures are created and maintained. We also welcome a variety of events including corporate team-building, brand launches and cocktail parties. Attendees can play video games in the sports rooms or go on scavenger hunts throughout the attraction with fun facts about the figures serving as clues. For more upscale events, experience everything from champagne chandeliers to live tables. It’s Las Vegas, after all, so themes can range from the classic Rat Pack to a trendy night club on the Strip.”
The event itself can feature its own branding. Particularly for buyouts, there are several screens which can display corporate logos, special messages and images. WiFi is also available to all groups no matter the size.
For departing guests, special gift bags can be created courtesy of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas’ incredible gift shop selling memorabilia and souvenirs. Guests can also receive Madame Tussauds’ branded champagne offered either in large bottles or as splits.
