LIn the spirit of the season, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace presents its third annual GREAT GIVE from Dec. 1-12. Partnering a number of its world-renowned retailers and restaurants with a variety of local and national non-profits, the 12-day shopping event benefits a wide variety of charities and causes. Each participating retailer has a designated charity and will either donate a portion of sales from specific items, donate a flat percentage of sales or raise funds directly to benefit their partner charity.

 

“Many of our retailers and restaurants take great pride in their efforts supporting a number of impactful charitable organizations and programs during this time of year,” said Maureen Crampton, Director of Business Development and Marketing at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. “By partnering with our friends at CLASS and presenting a comprehensive program under the umbrella of the GREAT GIVE, we are able to collectively promote it and encourage visitors to shop and dine at their favorite places while supporting so many worthy causes during these 12 days.”

 

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace has designated that all coins from the iconic fountains will be donated to the Simon Youth Foundation – an organization dedicated to helping students graduate. Of course, with the holidays fast approaching, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is ready to celebrate the season and help you deliver the perfect gift. The Forum Shops features 160 specialty shops and restaurants including more than 50 that can exclusively be found in Las Vegas only at The Forum Shops. On Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24, costumed Centurions will be roaming the center with special surprises for visitors.
Throughout the season, be sure to stop by the Atlantis Aquarium for a festive sight – the Holiday Elf Aquarists. Adorned with elf-style wet suits during this holiday season, the Elf Aquarists will feed the tropical fish beginning Dec. 15 throughout Christmas Day. Also, enjoy the whimsy and wonder of the captivating holiday store window displays and marvel among the classic Roman columns, arches and awe-inspiring statues that come to life. The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is the Official Host for Mexican Independence Day Celebrations in Las Vegas (El Grito)
Marking its milestone 25th anniversary this year, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, in partnership with InVEGAS Magazine, will be the exclusive location to ring in El Grito for the Mexican Independence Day weekend celebration. On Friday, September 15 at 8:00 p.m., The Forum Shops will host the official opening ceremony to kick off the festivities with a celebratory ringing of the bell by Mexican Consul Alejandro Madrigal along with a Mariachi band and traditional folkloric dancers. Staged atop the picturesque reflecting pool near the spiral escalator, the public is invited to join in on the free event.
in honor of Mexican Independence Day, stop by Border Grill at The Forum Shops for Patron margaritas, $3 tacos, $7 baja ceviche tostaditas and much more from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15.
Special greeters will be on hand as well on Friday at the Fortuna Terrace from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and at the reflecting pool from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Sept 16 at the Fortuna Terrace from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. They will provide El Grito booklets that contain a host of special offerings available throughout The Forum Shops.

Carmine’s NYC’s Family Style Italian Restaurant
Carmine’s hosts New Year’s Eve party as big as their portions. Revelry and value reign supreme on the Las Vegas Strip as Carmine’s inside The Forum Shops at Caesars will offer Las Vegas locals and visitors a night of food, drinks and dancing as they bid farewell to 2013 and ring in the New Year.   Hailing from New York City, with a location in the countdown capital of Times Square, the Italian eatery is celebrating its first New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas with a package that allows guests to celebrate on The Strip without breaking the bank. At only $40 for locals and $50 for non-locals (plus tax and gratuity), the NYE package includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open-bar featuring spirits such as SKYY Vodka, Beefeater Gin and draft beer, along with a Prosecco toast at midnight. Festivities will take place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. as partygoers dance the night away while a DJ provides the soundtrack for the New Year. The entire Southern-Italian menu, featuring portions that serve four to six, will be available a la carte served in the main dining room, in addition to the NYE package. Large groups looking to celebrate the beginning of 2014 can also reserve one of the restaurant’s nine private dining rooms including the Terreza Room that features a private balcony with a strip view. Trevi Italian Restaurant
TREVI inside The Forum Shops at Caesars will celebrate New Year’s Eve by offering an Italian five-course prix fixe meal available exclusively on Tuesday, Dec. 31, and the unique champagne gelato available during the last week of December.  Executive Chef Peter Scaturro’s holiday special is priced at $95 per person and begins with a choice of crab and corn bisque served in a warm bread bowl; or a mixed salad of Belgian endive, mesculin, glazed walnuts, poached pear, gorgonzola and balsamic vinaigrette. The second course offers a choice of fried rock-shrimp with red pepper coulis, or smoked salmon with crème fraiche, caviar, tomatoes, red onion, chives and capers over crepes. Diners will move into the third course with either the lobster ravioli topped with champagne Dijon cream and caviar; or the fettuccini with mussels in a saffron cream sauce. Grilled swordfish accompanied by sundried tomato pesto polenta, grilled asparagus and lobster sherry cream; or grilled lamb chops over pistachio mint risotto in a lamb demi-glace will highlight the fourth course. Dessert options include the baked “Firenze,” a homemade spumoni served with fresh meringue, or the trio tartellete made with chocolate mousse, lemon and assorted fruit.
