Romeo Entertainment Group Continues The Couch Concert Series To Keep The Music Alive During Social Distancing

Concerts aim to raise money to support musicians and touring personnel

Instagram livestream concerts everyday at 3 PM CST and Facebook repost to follow

Romeo Entertainment Group, one of America’s largest independent buyers of entertainment, began presenting the ‘Couch Concert Series’ Wednesday, March 18th in an effort to keep the music playing and to entertain those at home during times of social distancing. The concerts feature artists performing their latest songs and engaging with the audience through live stream to prove that music continues to heal.

The livestream concerts take place every day at 3 P.M. CST through the Romeo Entertainment Group’s Instagram page linked below. A recap of the live performance will be posted to the Romeo Entertainment Group Facebook page immediately after the initial live stream. The series will continue into April with new artists being added daily.

“We’re committed to keeping the music alive so we are bringing the concerts to you!” said REG President R.J. Romeo. “The entire entertainment community is suffering tremendously during this time and we all know how music heals and brings joy. We are hoping that ‘The Couch Concert Series’ will put some smiles on faces and remind everyone that we will get through these trying times.”

Aside from entertaining, The Couch Concert Series – which launched last week – serves as a way to raise money to support local musicians and touring personnel that may be struggling during this time. Romeo Entertainment Group recognizes that many in the live events industry are hurting right now due to so many concerts being either canceled or postponed. Please consider donating to MusiCares or Musicians Foundation.

PHOTOS: Country Music Sensations Perform During Downtown Hoedown at Fremont Street Experience, Dec. 6

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, Fremont Street Experience kicked off “12 Days of Country” with free live entertainment during the 31st Annual Downtown Hoedown in downtown Las Vegas. Rodeo fans celebrated the return of Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) and danced the night away under the iconic Viva Vision canopy while country music superstars Kip Moore, Neal McCoy, Michael Ray, Carly Pearce, Drake White and The Big Fire, and Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band delivered boot-stomping performances on all three stages.

Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band kicked off the night on the Main Street Stage with some of their most popular hits. Shortly after, Drake White and The Big Fire took over the 1st Street Stage, performing their honkytonk tunes.

Over on the 3rd Street Stage, Carly Pearce hyped up the crowd as she delivered a rowdy performance with back-to-back hits from her debut album including “Every Little Thing,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Michael Ray kept the party going on the Main Street Stage with an hour-long set featuring his No. 1 hit singles, “Kiss You in the Morning” and “Think A Little Less,” followed by “Real Men Love Jesus.”

Afterward, country fans immediately went wild as Neal McCoy took over the 1st Street Stage and showed off his signature sounds with chart-topping hits including “The City Put the Country Back in Me,” “The Shake,” “They’re Playing Our Song” and “Beer Goggles On.” Later in the evening, world-renowned country star Kip Moore wrapped up the 31st Annual Downtown Hoedown on the 3rd Street Stage with an unforgettable performance featuring famous hits such as “’Bout a Truck,” “I’m to Blame,” “Beer Money,” and “More Girls Like You.”
