Marking its 20th Anniversary with a show full of opening night nostalgia, L.A. Vation (Tribute to U2) hits the stage at House of Blues Las Vegas on Saturday, March 2, 2019. With more than 2,700 concerts held over the last 20 years, Bob Dylan and Bono from U2 were the first performers to grace the House of Blues stage in 1999. Tickets to the House of Blues 20th Anniversary with L.A. Vation are on sale at noon PST. The first 200 fans attending will also receive a commemorative poster, which will be unveiled in an upcoming ceremony (details TBA).

 Carlos Santana is looking at one of the biggest years of his career with a new album, North American tour dates, and anniversaries celebrating the band’s historic Woodstock performance and the release of mega-album Supernatural. Adding to this huge year – the announcement that the guitar legend will continue his incredible live performances of An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live at the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tickets for the fall 2019 performances will go on sale Friday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. Tickets for all previously announced show dates are currently on sale. All shows begin at 8 p.m.

Santana just ended his first run of 2019 at House of Blues and will return with additional performances in May, with the newly announced dates following in the fall.

About Carlos Santana:
2019 marks the 20th anniversary of Carlos Santana’s groundbreaking album Supernatural and the 50th anniversary of his legendary performance at Woodstock. To date, Santana has won 10 GRAMMY awards and three Latin GRAMMYs. About New Found Glory
Hailing from Coral Springs, Florida, punk-pop band New Found Glory was formed in mid-1997. The bandmates wasted little time amassing a cult following, eventually rising to the upper tier of punk-pop music alongside Good Charlotte, Saves the Day, and other Warped Tour-affiliated bands. A high-profile tour with blink-182 and an appearance in teen flick, “American Pie 2,” helped increase New Found Glory’s exposure. Summer of 2002’s Sticks and Stones propelled by the hit single “My Friends Over You,” help snag New Found Glory a headlining spot for the Warped Tour while their album climbed to gold certification. After the tour and its resulting hype, the band released 2004’s Catalyst, which peaked at number three on Billboard’s Top 200, driven in part by the success of “All Downhill from Here.” In 2014, New Found Glory delivered Resurrection, which found them diving into their punk roots with a renewed sense of purpose. The new year is looking bright with Carlos Santana returning to the stage at House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in January, but today, the guitar legend is excited to announce even more opportunities for people to enjoy the live concert experience in 2019 by adding additional spring dates for An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live. Tickets for the May 2019 performances will go on sale Friday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. Tickets for all previously announced show dates are currently on sale. All shows begin at 8 p.m.

 

“It is an honor to play here at House of Blues in Las Vegas, as we get to touch the hearts of people who have traveled from all over the world and from just down the block, in a very intimate setting. Every night we set our intentions and open our hearts to create and weave an energy infused evening of your favorite Santana songs and the songs of tomorrow. House of Blues Gospel Brunch has been a staple of Sunday morning family entertainment around the country for more than two decades. Featuring a rotating cast of the area’s biggest and brightest gospel and R&B talents, you’ll enjoy traditional and contemporary gospel songs. House of Blues Gospel Brunch has been a staple of Sunday morning family entertainment around the country for more than two decades. Featuring a rotating cast of the area’s biggest and brightest gospel and R&B talents, you’ll enjoy traditional and contemporary gospel songs. Guests will enjoy an amazing all-you-can-eat buffet featuring breakfast favorites, such as a live carving station with oven roasted turkey breast and prime rib, chilled prawns with cocktail sauce, chicken jambalaya, chicken and waffles and an array of salads and cold items, plus create-your-own Bloody Mary and mimosa bars.

The Darkness and Raveneye review and photos – House of Blues Las Vegas – Back To The USSA

There was a packed House of Blues in Vegas last night and The Darkness certainly didn’t disappoint the eager crowd. As flamboyant as ever Justin Hawkins ruled the stage while the band embraced rock and roll in party like fashion. Supporting their recent release Last of Our Kind The Darkness rolled through Las Vegas continuing to Arizona on the Back to the USSA tour.

The House of Blues Las Vegas is always a great place to see a show with great sound, energy and feel.

On the heels of their Fall 2015 North American tour, mythological UK rock band The Darkness – Justin Hawkins (vocals, guitar), Dan Hawkins (guitar), Frankie Poullain (bass) and Rufus Taylor (drums) – are set to reignite American stages on the Back To The USSA tour. The trek in support of new album Last of Our Kind, promises to reinforce The Darkness’ reputation as one of the mightiest live bands in the world. What a great performance UK powerhouse Raveneye put on to get the crowd ready for The Darkness. Raven eye is definitely one of those bands to keep your eye on with an awesome sound and style. They just lit up the House of Blues in Las Vegas with an energetic and engaging set that I didn’t want to end. Oli Brown captivated the audience with his great voice and charisma while drummer Kev Hickman and bassist Aaron Speirs were a perfect compliment to a fantastic live show.

RavenEye continue to celebrate the success of their self-titled debut EP which is still riding high on the Amazon best sellers list.  Late last year, the Salt Lake City Tribune said of the band, “British three-piece RavenEye sound like the illicit love-child of Wolfmother and Crobot… Singer/guitarist Oli Brown proved both a capable shredder and a captivating frontman, drawing in the audience”.

Even though he’s still only 25 years old, Oli Brown, singer and multi-award winning guitarist, has already released four solo albums and toured the world for 10 years with legends such as Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter and Joe Satriani.  Mojo Magazine hailed Oli as, “the hottest young pistol in British blues’ and Classic Rock Magazine described him as “one of the best and brightest guitar heroes performing in the world today”.  He has recorded the 5 tracks on “Breaking Out” late last year, before teaming up with drummer Kev Hickman and bassist Aaron Spiers and to take the songs out live – et voilà – RavenEye was born.

Filled with deep, bluesy grooves which invoke giants such as Zeppelin and Soundgarden, the band (who only formed a year ago) are winning fans around the world with their huge sound and killer live shows.
