ABSINTHE’s Mistress of Ceremonies, Penny Pibbets Will Announce the Winner on Oct. 31

Are you bored and looking for something new and creative to do for the Halloween season? Then why not pick up a pumpkin and use your imagination to carve the best pumpkin creation for a chance to win tickets to the hottest show in Las Vegas, ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace. ABSINTHE’s incompetent assistant to The Gazillionaire, Penny Pibbets has announced the Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest for all fans to enter.

The winner of the Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest will receive a pair of tickets to ABSINTHE, paid by Penny herself. However, since Penny is forking over the cash, prizes are subject to change without notice since it depends on the allowance given to her by The Gazillionaire.

Pumpkin artists will have free reign on style and creativity, but make sure it ties in with ABSINTHE! So maybe it’s a carving of Penny on a unicorn, or ABSINTHE’s Green Fairy, Melody Sweets doing a striptease, or a carving of The Gazillionaire, but the more unique and craftier the better! Don’t forget to post a picture of your creation on Facebook and Twitter, and make sure to tag ABSINTHE and Penny Pibbets to enter your submission.

All entries must be received by Monday, Oct. 28 at 11:59 p.m. Penny will select and announce the final winner on Facebook and Twitter on Halloween, Oct. 31.

Cast of ‘Absinthe’ Celebrates 1,000th Show at PURE Nightclub – Thursday, March 28

Last night Angel Management Group’s PURE Nightclub inside Caesars Palace transformed into a zombie apocalypse as the talented cast of the famed acro-cabaret variety show “Absinthe” took over the mega-club for their 1,000th show celebration. Arriving just after midnight the entire cast, including The Gazillionaire, Penny Pibbets and Angel Porrino made their way to their VIP booths on the main stage. The hot spot was a sight to see as the highly acclaimed cast filled the stage all outfitted in full zombie attire.

The multi-talented group was in good spirits as they celebrated this remarkable milestone. Nearing 1 a.m., DJ Gusto got on the mic to congratulate the cast as confetti burst into the air and the group was presented with a green, two-tiered cake topped with the number ‘1,000’ covered in gold glitter. Filled with delight, The Gazillionaire held the cake high into the air as the group cheered with excitement. Appearing in the center of the group, Penny Pibbets joined the celebration as she dove face first and took a bite out of the cake and moments later she went back in for more. The group enjoyed their celebratory evening as they toasted to many more successful shows, posed for photos, danced and basked in their moment of pure success.

Also in attendance celebrating was Spiegelworld founder and Absinthe co-producer Ross Mollison.

ABSINTHE’s Penny Pibbets announces the Design a Penny T-Shirt Contest!

Are you an artist hoping to one day find your masterpiece plastered on a 100% cotton t-shirt?  Well here’s an opportunity to make that dream a reality. ABSINTHE’s The Gazillionaire, along with his wacky assistant Penny Pibbets, have announced the Design a Penny T-Shirt Contest for all fans to enter. With no funds of her own to hire a professional designer, Penny is asking her fans to help design a t-shirt for ABSINTHE merchandise. So whether you’re a painting prodigy, an all-around bedazzler, a crayon-coloring expert or just plain bored with nothing better to do, fans can submit their creation and be recognized at Las Vegas’ hottest Strip-side show, ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace. Contestants can showcase their whimsical vision by creating a unique t-shirt inspired by the sock puppet loving, mistress of madness Penny Pibbets.

ABSINTHE’s the Gazillionaire explained, “So after Penny was on the cover of Las Vegas Weekly, she demanded she get her own t-shirt.  I told her to go away, but apparently her fans have been asking for a t-shirt of her at our merchandise booth.  I told her I would take 95% of the profits and she would have to pay for everything. Since she has no money, she decided to ask her fans to help her design something. There you have it, the Design a Penny T-Shirt Contest. Good luck.”

“All designs are fair game,” said Penny Pibbets.  “Let it be known that my favorite things in the world are sock puppets, unicorns and glitter. Quite frankly, it probably won’t compare to the hallucinations swimming in my head, but make sure it’s an awesome design!”

The winner of the Design a Penny T-Shirt Contest will receive a bevy of prizes paid by Penny Pibbets herself. The prizes will include: two-nights accommodation in Las Vegas, four VIP tickets to ABSINTHE with drinks, four ABSINTHE t-shirts with the winning design and a one-of-a-kind sock puppet handmade by Penny. However, since Penny is forking over the cash, prizes are subject to change without notice except for the sock puppet which is guaranteed.

Artists will have free reign on creativity, but should keep a four color maximum on the design. Humor is strongly encouraged! A full list of design source materials can be found online at http://tinyurl.com/pennytshirt.  All entries must be received by Saturday, April 14 at 11:59 p.m. by emailing designs to pennypibbets@gmail.com.
