Last night, (Monday, Dec. 30) PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace kicked off the New Year’s festivities with a live performance by R&B phenomenon The Weeknd. The award-winning hot spot opened its doors for a very special affair to welcome the return of the talented recording artist.

Arriving around 1 a.m. the sultry Canadian sensation, also known as Abel Tesfaye, made his way to his VIP booth on the main stage while he took in the sights of the packed room. Moments later, the highly acclaimed lyricist took center stage as he introduced himself and took over the mic, leaving his fans in awe. “I go by the name of The Weeknd,” he stated, “I came all the way from Toronto to party with you all tonight.” The nightclub roared with excitement as he mentioned to the crowd that he was celebrating one of this friend’s birthdays and gave a special shout out to his personal DJ XO.

He kicked off the night with his hit “I’m Good,” where following the song informed the crowd that it was his first time performing the track in Las Vegas. The Weeknd had his fans on their feet as he led into “Live For,” and “Crew Love,” both songs whom he worked with fellow Canadian and GRAMMY Award-winning rapper Drake to produce. To close out his memorable performance, the R&B singer told the crowd that he’d be back soon to Sin City and fittingly his fans would enjoy his last song of the night “Remember You.”

The Weeknd thanked his admirers for coming out as he took the time to mingle with a few lucky ladies before heading back to his table. Also in attendance, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White, was seen in high spirits sipping cocktails with friends and taking in the performance from his VIP table.

Following his performance at PURE Nightclub, The Weeknd made his way to Ling Ling Club located inside Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino where hundreds of party patrons waited in anticipation to catch a glimpse of the music icon. As celebrated DJ Irie manned the decks, he announced the arrival of the artist and the entire nightclub was on their feet eagerly watching for the artist to make his introduction. Appearing in the DJ booth, The Weeknd hopped on the mic to address his fans and began to put on his second special performance of the evening. Las Vegas’ Hottest Daylife Destination Gears Up For 2014 Pool Season With Open Auditions in January

WET REPUBLIC Ultra Pool at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino will begin preparations for its seventh season as the ‘It’ daytime destination when uditions for its stunning 2014 staff commence next month. Hundreds of bikini-clad candidates are expected to flock to LAX and PURE Nightclubs January 14 – 16 and 21 – 23 in hopes of securing a position with the ultra pool. With the venue scheduled to open in March, a position at the daylife hot spot will be one of the most sought-after summer jobs in Las Vegas.

Audition schedule and open positions are listed below:

Daylife Positions

Candidates are invited to audition for daylife positions at WET REPUBLIC. Jobs include model beverage runners, model cocktail servers, model bartenders and model bar backs.

Dates: January 14 – 16; 21 – 23

Time: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Location: LAX Nightclub located inside Luxor Hotel and Casino

Requirements: Model applicants must audition in swimwear and bring a headshot and resume to the interview. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Candidates are also invited to apply for additional daylife positions at WET REPUBLIC including security, cashiers, lifeguards, bar porters, VIP marketing hosts and operations managers.

As he settled into his VIP booth on the main stage, he took in the sights of the packed room as his fans rushed to get closer to the artist. Nearing 1:30 a.m. the highly acclaimed lyricist took center stage as he introduced himself and addressed the crowd. “I go by the name of The Weeknd,” he stated, “I came all the way from Toronto…Las Vegas is winning my heart.” The hot spot soared with excitement as he began his hit “Crew Love.” The Weeknd had his fans on their feet as they sang along. Mentioning that he has done a few tours but has never made it to Vegas, he promised he would make it up to his fans and segued into his popular single “Remember You.”

Thanking his admirers for coming out to see him, he took the time to sign autographs before heading back to his table where he continued his night with his entourage.

Last night, (Tuesday, Oct. 29) Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte was spotted at PURE Nightclub inside Caesars Palace. As Las Vegas’ hottest mid-week party hosted a grueling affair and searched for Sin City’s best Halloween costume, Lochte partied the night away at a VIP booth located on the main stage.  Seemingly in good spirits, the athlete was spotted admiring all of the inventive costumes as he sipped cocktails and mingled with friends before making his way out of the hot spot around 2 a.m.

Last night, (Saturday, Oct. 26) PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace was a sight to see as the mega-club transformed into a chilling party destination and had the Halloween festivities in full effect.  Blink-182’s Travis Barker took over the nightspot alongside DJ icon Mix Master Mike and put on an unforgettable performance for thousands of clubgoers.

As the entire hot spot was decked out with cobwebs, eerie skeletons, floating coffins and more, partygoers were clad in their Halloween best and flocked to the main room to catch a glimpse of the unrivaled duo. Arriving just after 12:30 a.m. the pair made their way into the nightclub and took a seat at their VIP table located on stage. Barker and Mix Master Mike both dressed for the occasion with their faces fully painted as spooky skeletons began their set around 1 a.m. Kicking off the performance, Mix Master Mike manned the decks and got the party started as he addressed the crowd. Shortly after, Barker hopped on the drums as he joined the spinning legend and had the entire nightspot on their feet. Full of energy and feeding off the excitement from the crowd, the drumming sensation and turntable legend had fans dancing and singing along as they put on a spine-tingling set filled with mash-ups of popular hits from a variety of genres including Top 40, hip-hop, punk rock and more.

The two talented artists had PURE Nightclub rattling as they put on a performance of a lifetime. As they brought their set to an end, Barker stood up to take a bow and they both thanked their fans for rocking out with them.

Last night (Tuesday, Aug. 20) Angel Management Group’s PURE Nightclub inside Caesars Palace was a sight to see as GRAMMY Award-winner Pharrell Williams took over the main stage for a special live performance. In town for the Liberty Trade Show, the multi-talented artist had thousands of partygoers flocking to the mega-club as he also celebrated the 10th anniversary of his clothing company, Billionaire Boys Club (BBC).

Arriving to the award winning hot spot just after 1 a.m., the star hit the red carpet where he posed for photographers. As nearby fans shouted his name, Williams welcomed hip-hop recording artist and record producer Swizz Beatz to join him in the spotlight. Finally making their way into the nightspot, the duo headed to their VIP table located on the main stage where they joined dozens of their guests. Settling into his area, the chart-topping star stepped out to greet his fans. The energy of the nightclub erupted with excitement as Williams reached to touch the hands of his admirers.

Just after 1:30 a.m. the lights in the main room went dim and the stage became center of attention. The singer appeared with microphone in hand as he addressed the audience welcoming them to PURE Nightclub. Beginning his action-packed performance, Williams sang his hit “Happy” from the popular motion picture “Despicable Me 2.” The lyricist continued his mini-concert as he sang his fan favorites including “Get Like Me, “Frontin, “Blurred Lines” and many more. During his performance, he was joined by special guest Swizz Beatz as they both took turns showing off their dance moves, taking cameras from fans to capture up close, live videos and getting guests to dance and sing along.

Showing his appreciation to his devoted fans, Williams addressed the sold-out crowd as he thanked them for all of their continued support and for being with him to celebrate the BBC anniversary. Asking the audience if they wanted the show to continue, Williams and Beatz conducted a contest with their fans. As they divided the room into three sections they had clubgoers trying to out shout one another in hopes the duo would continue the performance. The nightclub shook from the thousands of guests screaming excitement, and Williams continued with an encore of his latest hit “Blurred Lines.” Wrapping up the song, the hip-hop sensation told his fans he wanted to dance with them, and as he cued the DJ to play his popular track “Get Lucky” he made his way onto the dance floor and through the masses. Back on stage Beatz took over the mic and continued the show until Williams returned. As the performance went on, confetti flew through the air and Williams was presented with a three-tiered cake in honor of his anniversary celebration.

Taken back by the overwhelming energy of the nightclub, the duo decided to keep the performance going as they played and sang along to iconic hits from the 90’s and today while keeping partygoers on their feet. Wrapping up a nearly two hour performance, the two thanked the crowd once again and headed back to their VIP table to continue the celebration Sin City style.

PURE Nightclub inside Caesars Palace was the place to see and be seen last night (Saturday, June 8) as reigning Miss USA Nana Meriwether along with a bevy of beautiful Miss USA contestants took over the mega-club for an unforgettable affair. The stunning beauties hit the red carpet around 11:30 p.m. dawning their best nightclub attire as they posed for photographers.

Making their way through the packed hot spot the 25 gorgeous contestants took their place at their VIP table located on the left stage. Upon arrival the ladies immediately became center of attention as they began dancing and mingling with nearby clubgoers. Later in the evening Meriwether was found manning the decks in the DJ booth and quickly became the nightspot’s guest DJ. Fully enjoying their night out the ladies spent the evening partying into the early hours of the morning.

PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino was a sight to see as GRAMMY Award-winning artist Pharrell Williams took over the mega-club for a special Memorial Day Weekend performance Saturday, May 25. Arriving to the award-winning hot spot around 12:30 a.m., the former Neptunes member hit the red carpet where he posed for photographers and waved to on-looking partygoers as they flocked to catch a glimpse of the star.

Making his way through the packed nightclub, thousands of clubgoers screamed as he passed by and shook the hands of many. The energy of the main room erupted as Williams appeared at his VIP booth located on the main stage. As the superstar stepped up to greet the crowd, the sea of devoted fans rushed the stage. Preparing for his performance the humble singer relaxed at his table along with a few of his closest friends.

Just after 1 a.m., the lights of the club went dim and the energy of the iconic destination soared with excitement as Williams took his place center stage. “Welcome to PURE,” he stated and continue to talk about his latest project “Happy,” the theme song he wrote for the upcoming motion picture “Despicable Me 2,” and gave his fans a little sneak peak. The hip-hop sensation put on an unforgettable performance as he sang hit after hit including “Frontin’,” “I Just Wanna Love You,” “Excuse Me Miss,” “Blurred Lines” and many more. Throughout the performance he encouraged his fans to sing along as he held his mic out to the audience. Nearing the end of his mini-concert, Williams addressed the crowd and said, “I want to come out there and dance with you!” As he set down his mic and headed towards the stairs, the energy of the room reached an all-time high. As his latest hit “Get Lucky” played, the icon emerged in the middle of the masses, made his way through the dance floor, around the entire nightclub and back to his VIP table while he danced and posed for pictures with his devoted fans.
